"More so than being a bar or a restaurant, Lenox Saphire is a place to party. They have drink specials and DJ nights almost every day of the week. There’s a bar area as well as a full-service dining room and outdoor patio (the food here is a mix of American and West African). Look at their schedule and prioritize coming here on Monday nights - when you can get a $5 flavored martini." - Hannah Albertine, Bryan Kim

"On Monday nights at Lenox Sapphire, you can get $5 flavored martinis and there’s a live DJ playing music loud enough for a festival. This is just one example of how hard this American and West African restaurant parties. There are events and specials throughout the week, so you should look at their schedule ahead of time to see what’s going on. Bring some friends who don’t mind screaming over the music to talk and order the beef nems (fried spring rolls) - they’re crispy and great." - Hannah Albertine

It's a cool little joint. Vibes was good. Didn't get to eat this time. But been here before, and did enjoy the food when I had it. Love they Sally Breeze. And my bartender was on point with it. Had a good time. Came back here for my cousin dirty 30 brunch. After missing reservations for another place. They were so nice about it and accommodated 10 people which makes them pretty awesome we had a fantastic time. The food was awesome so glad I got to taste it so this time all in all great place to be

Happened upon this gem with a friend after Pride! It’s been a while so don’t quote but the vibes, the crowd, and the music was amazing! I was loving the energy. The menu was a little overwhelming to me because I wanted something different but all my friends were having seafood. I chose Yassa Poisson Chicken and I made the best decision. It was straight fire! The flavor was out of control! I wanted to go right back but unfortunately not longer hung with those friends and couldn’t remember the name of the restaurant! I have since figured out the ingredients and taught myself how to make it but I will never forget what inspired me and the experience. I definitely recommend and need to go back!

Food good...ambience good. Issues we had to wait to be seated no one to seat us, hire someone! Music change was horrid stick to the West African themes. Our host was good but overworked it seemed. Needed more than one and half pieces of chicken even if it was tasty.

The collard greens were really good. The lamb curry and rice was so so good that i would eat here EVERY time i visit New York The staff was awesome, the prices was right, and the portions were large. The lamb Curry was season so well and had a great spice to it not too hot but just right so that I did not have to add any salt pepper hot sauce or anything to it it was perfect just as is with potatoes and carrots. The collard greens were season as well they were very good and tender not too soft but just the right crunch. The rice was still leafy not stuck together smushy or too hard. The lobster mac and cheese was great cheesy not overcooked or undercooked. The first time I went to this location it was very comfortable cozy just right. The second time I went to this location it was still real cozy except I think it was gumbo season because there was a seafood smell in the air. I will still chip choose this location the next time I go to New York from Dallas Texas.

Rocky start!!! Took my aunt out for brunch family outing. Called on the phone earlier in the week for reservations was told I needed a 300 dollar deposit I declined. Arrived at location had to wait at the bar. Spoke to the manager only to be informed the deposit was only 100 I asked why he didn't offer me that over the phone now it was silence. I then waiting another 10 mins we was seated the service was great!!! Food was amazing the music was on point my entire party was happy I will be back again and shout out to Dj Knuckles for being one of the best in NYC

The outside of the restaurant is not being kept clean . The manager only hoses down the entrance area and not the whole curbside of the bussiness. He has groups of people and does not hose down and clean the whole curbside. There is a rat problem and they put their garbage out. Now the homeless addicts are setting up in on their premises with stolen merchandise hanging up clothes on the poles and the bussiness does not say a thing this. This is very unprofessional and unsanitary. And does not look good for the community. I’m Disappointed and the Spanish manager is very arrogant and does not listen. You are in black community respect the people who live here who are telling you about the problems. Fix the issues that’s how you work with the community.

They have the longest running brunch in Harlem until 7PM. Prices are great the drinks are amazing. They provide a different atmosphere during the day. At night it's more of a hip hop club Atmosphere. Food is absolutely amazing but the service could use an improvement.
