Lenz Restaurant

Restaurant Lenz is always a great choice for dinner. This restaurant consistently comes up with great new seasonal dishes that taste fantastic. Yesterday we tried the 5 course Hamburg Abendblatt menu. The delicious pumpkin soup is missing in my pictures. But all great tasting dishes and wine pairing. We loved it. On a side note, even his lunch menu varies on a weekly basis. It's definitely worth a trip to Duvenstedt

Very welcoming. We arrived after a day of cycling and they were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Food choice and quality was excellent.

Always a great experience! The ambient and outstanding staff is what sets this place apart from the rest. The food is excellent and everything surrounding the dining experience is outstanding. There isn't much selection in terms of vegan/vegetarian (almost feels like ordering off an expensive child's menu), but if you are into meat or fish - you are definitely in for a treat!!

The food was really nicely cooked, but I wasn't completely wowed by the flavour of my main (Rotbarsch). The small Wintersalat and the ice cream were delicious: 4.5 stars. The service staff were friendly, and the lad who served us was really attentive: 5 stars. The internal decor was tastefully done, and the seating was comfortable. However, the ambience was sadly let down by how cold it was inside: 4 stars. I think it's OK to close both doors or use a curtain to keep the draught out: people know the restaurant is open and will dare to open a second door/curtain. Overall rating of dining experience: 4.5 stars. Will definitely go back and highly recommend.

Nice selection of traditional northern German dishes. I tasted a few of them and each was a little on the salty side but tasty non-the-less. Service was a bit slow and the servers weren't particularly helpful. Prices were reasonable.

This is my new favourite restaurant in Hamburg. The food is excellent and provides everything from rarely seen classics like Labskaus to truffel noodles. And it is suitable for wheelchair users :-)

The restaurant was empty and therefore the main course came even though we had just started with our bread. Felt very rushed

Food was good. Tasty. Ambiance good. Service was good. Friendly. Not enough parking space at the restaurant but across the street. It wasn't too busy. I can recommend it to everyone

This was such an awesome dinner! From the service (impeccable) to the way everything came out and timely plated. Solid German food - rich and flavorful. They have a variety of dishes outside of the German cuisine like pasta but they add a German touch to them. Yes, it is a treat budget wise and the bill reflected that but honestly, compared to the US, 7 of us, it was totally worth it. They brought out the ice cold Helbing bottle accompanied by ice cold Helbing glasses. It was a winter evening right before Christmas and we did have reservations. The decor is sleek and modern with a nice Christmas tree at the entrance. English menus available plus the staff was fluent. Though I do not expect this at all, Google translate helps a lot with foreign menus.

We enjoyed a very nice dinner. The restaurant is celebrating their 7 year anniversary (now 2014)and it shows they have been successful. Very nice, but relaxing and comfortable atmosphere and interior design. The staff is very friendly and they really work as a team. The food was very good and my favorite dish was excellent (Wiener Schnitzel). The large portion is huge! Plates are made up nicely... Will go back instantly, favorite restaurant in outskirts of Hamburg... In Hamburg City I like Meatery at Side Hotel, wonderful steaks from Argentina, USA & Germany...

Nice restaurant. Very good German food!! Very well prepared and the chef is very regardful!!! Nice mix of starter prepared for our group! I had a pumpkin gnocchi very well prepared. Very tasty soup and nice mix of desserts!!!
