The Moon Room Opens on Melrose With a Disco Ball and Baby Grand Piano | Eater LA

"Setting down roots in Whittier, Leonardo’s Pasta is moving from a handmade pasta pop-up into a permanent space at 6701 Greenleaf Avenue; while the restaurant buildout isn’t complete yet, I can catch his Eastside-inspired pasta served out of a truck parked in the back from Thursday, March 14 to Sunday, March 17, and the plan is to operate for dinner service once open, though operating hours and the full menu haven’t been announced." - Rebecca Roland

Leonardo’s Pizzeria is something special. The pizza here is definitely different — authentic, bold, and full of flavor. You can tell the team truly enjoys what they do, and the owner's creates a great environment where everyone’s happy and it shows. Every bite feels handcrafted with passion. It’s not just pizza — it’s an experience you’ll want again and again. 🍕🔥BTW, The Pene Alla Vodka with Grill Chicken is to die for!!!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Leonardo’s, a charming New York Style brick oven pizzeria located on Main Avenue in Norwalk, CT, and I must say, it was a delightful experience! From the moment I walked in, the warm and inviting atmosphere made me feel right at home. The menu offers a fantastic variety of pizzas, all made with fresh ingredients and baked to perfection in their authentic brick oven. I decided to try their classic Margherita and was blown away by the crisp, thin crust and the rich, flavorful tomato sauce. The balance of fresh mozzarella and basil was spot-on, making each bite incredibly satisfying. The staff at Leonardo’s were friendly and attentive, ensuring that our dining experience was enjoyable from start to finish. They were knowledgeable about the menu and happy to make recommendations based on our preferences. In addition to the delicious pizza, Leonardo’s also offers a great selection of salads, appetizers, and desserts. I highly recommend trying the garlic knots – they were the perfect combination of soft, buttery, and garlicky goodness. Overall, Leonardo’s is a fantastic spot for anyone looking to enjoy a true New York Style pizza experience in Norwalk. Whether you’re dining in or taking out, you can expect high-quality food and excellent service. I can’t wait to return and try more of their delicious offerings! If you’re in this area of Norwalk this is THE pizza joint to checkout. Follow @fairfieldfooddude for all things food

Pizza is usually very good. Especially grandma squares, plain, pepperoni, etc. Had a mediocre experience ordering an entree to go once. But whatever. It’s a pizzeria first. That’s what they are good at. Ask for pies and slices well done. Might be best place to get a slice in Norwalk. Grandma square is amazing. Crust is delicious and chunks of tomatoes and fresh mozz create a great blend of flavors when you chew it. But yeah, I only get the pizza here. I saw someone complained about grumpy staff in a review. lol. It’s a pizzeria. Grumpy staff are a prerequisite for good pizza. Are you going there for food or to pay for friendship? I saw a lady complained about a burger. A burger? lol. Your problem you ordered a burger at a pizzeria. I have yet to find a grandma square that matches Leonardo’s. I think the pizza has gotten better over time, too.

Came to Norwalk to for a meeting. Stopped at this pizzeria and the experience was awesome. Pizza slices are large and the tomato sauce was tasty and they are bilingual ( Spanish and English)

Super tasty pizza with good quality sauce and generously portioned toppings. We got the Sicilian, grandma, and the regular with mushrooms. All were beautifully executed but highly recommend the Sicilian. Overall one of the best places we tried in CT. We will be coming back!

Off TOP "da twins" gave off good vibes. Owner is super kool! They actually listen to & remember their customers. If you're looking for your perfect specialty hand tossed pie, it's here! Two of my go to pies; (1) Buffalo chicken w/ marinara sauce & celery. (2) BBQ chicken with celery, onion & feta

best pizza in Norwalk. We only order from them and have only ever had one “bad” experience. I called about the issue and they sent us another pie! Great customer service, quick delivery, delicious food. Try the grandma square.

It’s hard to understand how this place is still operating given the environment. Sadly, it appears to rely heavily on the hard work of its staff, who always seem overworked and never appear to get a break. Despite this, the staff remains consistently pleasant and professional—more so than the owners themselves. One particular individual, a blonde woman often seen at the front, creates an unwelcoming atmosphere. Her demeanor makes it uncomfortable to sit and enjoy a meal, as if guests are an inconvenience. It’s disheartening that someone in a customer-facing role behaves this way, especially when the rest of the staff is warm and attentive. After several visits, I’ve come to realize that her presence significantly diminishes the experience. It's disappointing to say, but I'll be looking for a more professional establishment—one where hospitality isn't undermined by management’s attitude. Disgusting!
