Leonardo's Trattoria & Pizzeria

Fresh delicious house salad, crusty bread for dipping. Awesome Margherita pizza was delicious. I had to restrain myself to leave room for dessert. My server Dara was attentive without being intrusive. Seated right away, no waiting. The restaurant was fairly busy but still pleasant for quiet conversation. Sweet tea was done right, not overly sweet.

Talk about knocking it out of the park! Me and a buddy from out of town stopped in on a whim one day for a late lunch. Immediately thought we were in the wrong place because the atmosphere is very nice looking and we were in shorts and flip flops. We sat at the bar and the bartender was super nice. She assured us we were just fine and were NOT out of place ;). Took a look at the menu and realized the prices were not bad at all so we decided to stay. The music was playing but not too loud. which is always nice because I can't stand to hear people chewing food and other people's conversations. We ordered a beer, pizza and calamari. For starters, the calamari was a huge serving and fried to absolute perfection. So crispy and tender, one of the best I've ever had and I've had them at many places. By the time I took the picture, we had eaten half the order of calamari. The pizza, wow. The dough was flavorful, the crust had just the right amount of char and the toppings were perfect. I couldn't have asked for a better pizza. Our server was really good at the bar so I can't speak for everyone else but our service was great. Its about an hour drive from our house but I can't wait to take my family back here.

Was just passing through on the way to Houston, staying nearby. Saw this place. Fantastic place. We had a short rib pasta and a shrimp and scallops pasta from their specialities, recommended by the staff - and they were both wonderful. The rib was massive and incredibly tender, fell off the bone without trying. Don't mind the lighting on pics - we were under a blue light. Half the reason I'm writing a review is so I can find this place again in my history so the next time I'm driving by I can remember to stop

Pollo parmesan was delicious and a huge portion. I usually don't have any problems finishing a meal. But I couldn't finish this big 2 piece chicken parm.👍👍

Of all the places across the country where we have had pizza, I never knew a place so close had the best pizza I have ever had. Walking into this place Iwe thought well this gonna cost a bit but surprisingly a reasonable price. For the best pizza in America you have to visit this place.

First time customers. Definitely not the last time. I’m ready to go again now. Friendly service. Fast kitchen for real Italian food. Dessert was awesome cheese cake and they have homemade gelato. I had the chicken spaghetti carbonara. My girlfriend had the chicken parmigiana. It was all good.

Heard about this place from a friend who said it was great. Well......let's just say I was sat but a friendly waitress at the bar with my husband. Drinks were given to us promptly. Ordered the alfredo and husband ordered the pork ossobuco (i think). Now we can see the kitchen where we were sitting, I saw one of the cooks putting my husbands pork in the microwave to heat it up? Didn't realize fresh meant heated up. Also while eating my Alfredo i noticed what I thought was grinder pepper was actually a baby roach. Let's just say left very unhappy and sick to our stomachs. Will not be visiting this "great restaurant" again. We would've said something but I was too nervous to be one of those customers.
