"Behind a 19C façade and within 18C walls, this contemporary hotel designed by Jean-Philippe Nuel has its own lounge-style restaurant adjoining the bar. The menu is in keeping with the culinary zeitgeist: for example, tuna sashimi, mango, avocado, with soy and sesame sauce, or saddle of lamb with herbs, crispy potatoes and courgette coulis. For tables of friends, there are large dishes designed to share (whole fish, rib steak etc). For those with a sweet tooth, cast an eye over the display cabinet, where some desserts are plated up and there are pretty pastries to choose from." - Michelin Inspector

Everything about this hotel is exceptional from the warm welcome at Reception when we arrived we knew we were going to enjoy our three night stay. Our room overlooked the courtyard and was extremely quiet. We had a large modern bathroom supplied with high quality toiletries. The bed was extremely comfortable with high quality linen. The mini bar had complimentary bottles of water and fruit juice and tea and coffee making. Breakfast was superb. High quality, locally sourced ingredients. We ate in the hotel restaurant and found the food to be again excellent. The staff are exceptionally helpful and friendly. We had a wonderful stay there - would highly recommend.

This was a real treat of. Break for us to enjoy the Christmas Market. The Hotel was in the perfect position for exploring Strasbourg on foot and a short walk from the train station. ||The Junior suite that we had was comfortable and quiet The bed was very comfortable with quality linen and pillows and duvet. The white fluffy towels in the bathroom were lovely, large. thee were also gowns and slipper provided.||There were some recent films to watch and main TV news channels. ||There were a lot of personal touches and nice additions to the room including a mini bar, toiletries supplied. the tea and coffee in the room were high quality ||The cleanliness was perfect, it literally felt like no one had ever used our suite before. ||The public areas were beautiful and the welcome was warm and friendly.||We didn’t eat at the hotel.

We stayed just for one night but this hotel is really one of the best ones we have visited(value for money, staff). It was Christmas season, the staff was extremely helpful and positive and their welcome was very warm! The hotel has a unique decoration and style, which is a combination of classic and modern! It is pet friendly and well located! The room was simple, well decorated and with all required amenities, and the bed was extremely comfortable! The bath was spacious with a large shower and good quality products! The breakfast was very good, with a large variety of options and very good pastries! When we will visit Strasbourg again, we will definitely stay in this hotel again! A special thank to the girls in the reception for their recommendations on restaurants and places to visit!

This lovely hotel is a 15 minute walk away from the Strasbourg station. We took the TGV directly from CDG airport in only 2 hours. So the location is very accessible to international travellers. A beautiful hotel with a well decorated reception area. Our room is very comfortable - heating is at a good temperature (not too hot or cold), a luxurious bed with great bathroom amenities. The improvement I can think of is to provide guests with more hangers for coats. The breakfast buffet is also exceptional. It is stocked with every breakfast item you would wish for. Strasbourg is a very walkable city so we walked everywhere. Only took an Uber on the last day because we don't want to roll our luggage back to the station. The only complaint is the room price - due to Christmas market season our double room is at 400EUR a night! Quite expensive compared to other comparable hotels.

New fantastic hotel near to the center of the city. Sophisticated design, great cosmetic (special thanks for the hear conditioner), big enough room, really good breakfast, silence and comfort. Will recommend it to all my friends who goes to Strasbourg.

Leonor The Place to Live delivers on its promise! It IS the place to live! We felt welcome and engaged all times of day from the generous breakfast rooms to the delicious aperitivo drinks and snacks in the evening. The room and bed were comfortable with views of the beautiful courtyard decorated tastefully for the December holidays. The staff were friendly and social. We were just a few easy blocks away from the Duomo and the fabulous Strasbourg Xmas markets. Can’t wait to go back in winter and stay here again.

What a beautiful hotel. We stayed here for two nights so we could explore the nearby Christmas market. We had a warm and friendly welcome from reception, with lovely gifts waiting for us in our suite. Our suite was spotlessly clean, quiet and comfortable., with the exception of the sofa bed which was very uncomfortable as a sofa.||The bar and restaurant looked really good, but, and here’s s the downside, it was very expensive so we didn’t use it. ||Overall a lovely place to stay, but it was very much overpriced. I would have expected a more luxurious suite, fully stocked mini bar not just juice and water etc. I understand prices would be higher than normal at this time of year, but what appears to be double that of other times of year is too expensive.

We booked two rooms for the Christmas Markets last February via Citi Card Travel. The rooms were prepaid at that time. Upon check in, we found that our reservations had been cancelled. How could that be? We had gotten no notice from Citi Travel.||Clara at the front desk took care of our situation. First of all she found us two rooms on a new reservation. She actually upgraded our rooms and included breakfast. She then contacted the third party booking agency to find out what happened. Meanwhile after checking in, I called Citi Travel. They had no knowledge of the cancellation and called the booking partner (Web Beds). But it was Sunday, and no one was available to explain.||Other people at the front desk were always helpful especially Mathilde who we talked to several times. She told us that Clara had followed up again to try to resolve the problem.||By the time we checked out, one of the rooms had been reinstated. We found that Citi Travel had refunded the other room to my card and upon return I dealt with them separately.||The hotel is a great hotel. rooms were spacious, clean, breakfast was good. ||But the expertise and customer service of the people at the front desk was exceptional. Five Stars, no make that SIx Stars.
