Loved this hotel. The front desk was excellent, professional, very proper and thorough. It is perfectly located for strolling the city, the Christmas markets, and shopping, but in a quiet and non- congested area. Very safe, well away from the train station (that area has a lot of hotels but is further from attractions and is loud.) Breakfast was outstanding, with hot items offered and beautifully arranged. Room was nice, comfortable bed, plenty of amenities, quiet. Lobby is stunning. We'd stay here again.

Excellent experience staying here for five nights with our dog. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, and the restaurant was one of the best we tried in Strasbourg. The room was quite small, but the location was perfect with only a five minute walk to the centre. The staff were also kind enough to let us extend our stay several times due to travel issues. Definitely a place I would recommend if you don’t mind the costs.

Location is outstanding. Staff is kind and helpful. The little fridge in our room wasn’t working and I need it for medicine and they swapped it out right away. Bathtub is deep and nice. The only downsides were a few nuances of the room. There’s not enough space for clothing and luggage. No drawers, only a place to hang items. Only one luggage rack which isn’t adequate for 2 people packing winter clothes. They brought another luggage rack up for us which was nice, but it makes the trim crowded and the you’re still digging around in a suitcase for clothing for the entire stay. The lobby is chic. The breakfast buffet is phenomenal. Caviar! Every kind of bread and pastry you could possibly imagine! Fruits, yogurt, meats, vegetables galore! Would highly recommend!

The first two days were absolutely extraordinary, and that deserves to be said. A kind, gentle young lady at the reception helped us with a doctor’s appointment, and the breakfast staff during those days was attentive, warm, and genuinely professional. For a moment, we truly believed Hotel Leonor understood what hospitality means. Unfortunately, our very first interaction with the hotel told a completely different story. When we arrived, excited and happy — our stay was a Christmas gift — we were greeted by a brunette receptionist with glasses who managed, within minutes, to completely destroy the Christmas spirit. Because we didn’t have a credit card, she made us feel awkward, embarrassed, and unexpectedly poor. Instead of welcoming us or helping us, she was defensive, cold, and judgmental, as if she had been placed there to judge guests rather than serve them. A small reminder seems necessary: even without a credit card, we were still the guests — and she was still the employee. As for breakfast, after those wonderful first two days, things declined rapidly. Exactly in Chrismas morning, a different group of young staff members appeared who seemed to believe that empty plates are part of the table décor. We sat 20–25 minutes with empty plates in front of us, unnoticed, until we finally had to call someone over just to have enough space on the table. Hotel Leonor clearly has potential — we experienced it during those first days. But hospitality should be consistent, and no guest’s experience — especially a Christmas one — should be ruined at the door. And one last thing…Totally understand it was Christmas, but meeting housekeeping in my room at 4 p.m. felt more like a holiday surprise than luxury service 😉.

We stayed five nights at the Leonor and were impressed by the friendly, attentive staff who go out of their way to make their guests welcome and comfortable. We were happy with our junior suite which looks out over a pretty courtyard, well used by guests in sunny weather. Breakfast was superb and we ate in the relaxed bar on several evenings, enjoying a mix of small plates. Patisserie is a speciality and unmissable. A hotel which manages to be chic, relaxed and welcoming while charging reasonable prices. Highly recommended.

I had an extremely frustrating experience at this hotel. While they look professional, the service was dismissive and disrespectful. When I asked for directions to my room, the receptionist misunderstood and never clarified, instead trying to sell me breakfast. I was misdirected, dragging my luggage and child through the restaurant, only to find no room there. Back at reception, the male staff member, who saw me check in, made me restate my reservation name. He then ignored me, chatting with another people. When I repeated that I couldn’t find my room, he told me to “calm down” and “don’t be nervous.” He even said, in a mocking tone, “OK, I apologize,” as if it was my fault. Not once did anyone sincerely apologize for their mistake. All of this was caused by their unprofessionalism, yet they blamed me. I paid the same as anyone else and deserved respect, not mockery.

Quick check in, Nice entrance, good location. Pillow, bedding are comfy! Room in good size. Quiet and modern design where I can have good rest especially I was feeling unwell! However. More improvement on staff training! 1) The hotel could inform us earlier to let us know the city centre is blocked for the Xmas market. 2) Instead of just passing me the city map, the Reception could have share more information about the city, and Christmas market info. 3) Housekeeping took more than an hour to send over amenities. Finally sent over after follow up call. 4) Housekeeping knocked my door at 10:30am despite I have my DO NOT DISTURB sign hang on my door. After I opened, the lady asked when am I leaving, ask their manager asked her to check on me. I was puzzled as I understand the check out time af 12noon, and I was right! I found this extremely ridiculous to knock the guest door with the sign hanging, for the sake of knowing when they can clean the room!!?? 5) Arrived on a Sunday, walked into the restaurant. No one serving or trying to ask for your need. After my approach, they only provide snacks/light eats. A la carte not available. Disappointing! 6) There was a person waiting near the hotel entrance at night time, yell at you for asking for money, and being rude if you don’t support.Overall, the hotel itself is nice! Need better management!

Supper happy with the choice of staying here. All services were very good and the bar is absolutely amazing. The attention to details starting from the fresh cookies served with coffee, until the snacks served with alcohol. Not to mention the breakfast..superb.
