Fantastic experience!! Delicious plates, wines, cocktails, and desserts. Tables outside in the patio very nice.

Firstly, a very big bravo for the service with the smile whole night long and kindly well served. I'll say the overall stars should be 3,7. And the cuisine is 3,8. The menu was very creative created and we are lucky to have our wine to goes with the dishes. Just a pity that the balance of the plate was not too well balance sometimes, as the elements on the plate should be balance with their seasoning, but our plates were too much seasoning, either too salty or too sweet at the same time for the other ingredients on the plate. But generally they were very well done cooked with all protein! For the ambiance was great but if we can dim down some lights and some light ambiance music will be perfect! Bravo the whole team and I will say I'll definitely come back again with friends and families to try out the rest of the menu and another bottle of good wine! 😇

Great place with an inspiring and affordable selection of Von Winning’s own wines. Regretfully, we had to stay off the bottles as we were just one couple. Do yourself a favor and team up with friends and unlock the bottles! Food is fantastic and the atmosphere is very cosy.

To start, the food was great. We had the Lamb Knuckle and Goose Leg with the Pumpkin Soup as our appetizer. The goose leg had a nice crispy skin and tender meat inside. The sauce paired well with the goose leg. The lamb knuckle also had a nice crispy outside with tender meat inside. The wines we selected (a Pinot Noir and Grigio) were delightful with our respective meat dishes. The four star rating (initially was going to give three stars) was for the length of time we had to wait for our food. We waited almost 90 minutes for it while watching guests come much later than us receiving their main dishes and finishing before we got ours. Add to this that we were celebrating a birthday, well we were about to go the three star route. So what saved it from being 3 stars...well there was a nice couple who came after we did with a pair of Labrador's who were cute and helped us pass the time while we waited for our food, and the eventual espresso and mango ice cream we were serviced helped to bump up the rating to four stars (truthfully it really was the pups next to us that helped soften the wait time). We may try this place again in the future as their food and wine was good.

One of the best restaurants in Diedesheim. a perfect spot for a great selection of food and wine. This place will not disappoint.

The food was amazing, nice decoration restaurant, staff was very attentive. Steak and Beef soup was the highlight.

Great place along the weinStraße! Bärlauch Suppe was delicious and the ribeye was so tender and melts in your mouth.

Was an overall good evening. Smiling staff. Good food (absolutely great, bread a bit boring, but the rest was exceptional), wonderful wines (we know them already). The reason for the 3 stars was the understanding of the service. After waiting 5+ minutes after recieving out starter, we had to ask for our wine for the starter. The wine for the main course came in 2-3 minutes after the meal was served. With the price level (and the fact that we ordered an extremely good wine), it should have been presented before the meal, with opportunity to smell it and taste it without influence of the food. All of this could have been acceptable at a restaurant that did not charge a premium for meals, wines and service. Beautiful restaurant - a bit noisy with all the bare stone walls, but nice ambiance and atmosphere. We would come again, if they trained their staff a bit.
