The 38 Best Restaurants in New Delhi - Eater

"It’s an unusual feat for a restaurant serving international cuisine to be embraced as a neighborhood fixture, but with Leo’s, Delhi has found its favorite pizza restaurant. Leo’s won customers over quickly with its casual atmosphere of wood tables and familiar servers, mixed with a small but reliable menu of Neapolitan-style pizzas. Amol Kumar, the restaurant’s primary pizzaiolo and owner, swears by the classic margherita and pepperoni pies, paired with an afternoon beer. The restaurant focuses on sourcing high-quality ingredients and serving loyal customers, or as Kumar puts it, “getting pizza right.” Leo’s is also one of the only places in the city that is dog friendly, and there’s an expansive wine menu. Probably the best Neapolitan pizza I’ve had in India! Leo’s truly lives up to the hype of being called one of the best pizzerias in the country. Their Margherita pizza is outstanding -perfectly baked with a light, airy crust, balanced tomato sauce, and fresh basil. Yes, there’s usually a long waiting time, but it’s absolutely worth it once you take the first bite. The whole café has a warm vibe, with photo frames of the owner’s pet Leo adding a unique and personal touch to the space. If you love authentic pizzas, this place is a must-try.

Great pizzas. But I wish they weren't soggy. The variety is decent for both vegetarians and non vegetarians. Do not expect a humongous menu since they stick to basics. Service was quick and professional. Ambiance is plain. But you'll enjoy the food.

Good experience. Wooden crust Neapolitan pizza should be on your radar. Having mainly tried ciros pizzeria and nomad pizza, Leo definitely lived upto its hype. Beer was delectable

I don’t usually write reviews, but the experience here was frustrating enough to make me do it. The waiting time was ridiculous – way beyond what they promised. Even after sitting around forever, no one bothered to update us properly or offer an apology. By the time the food finally showed up, we’d already lost patience and the whole meal felt pointless. For a place that calls itself a pizzeria, you’d expect at least good service if not great food, but this was just disappointing. Definitely not worth the hype or the wait.

Went there after seeing the reviews and was not disappointed. We only had the Margherita pizza and it was great. The pizza was light and the tomatoes fresh. They have a lot of cute photos of dogs and some cute streeties outside. Definetly would go back to try the other pizzas. But be prepared to wait at least an hour on weekends. It's not an issue because there is plenty to explore around it, so time will fly by.

We have been a regular at The Leo’s for last few years. It’s like our backyard kitchen whenever we feel like “Pizza” in our persona😉 Little did we realise that one day this small tucked aside Pizzeria with 40 odd seating would be proclaimed World’s Top xxx Pizzeria. Sure it’s by certain voting measures, but it’s worth being there each time.😍

Leo’s Artisan Pizza truly delivers an authentic experience! 🍕✨ The crust is perfectly wood-fired — light, airy, and slightly charred for that classic Neapolitan touch. The Margherita was spot on with fresh basil, rich tomato sauce, and creamy mozzarella. The burrata pizza with pesto swirl was an absolute standout — indulgent yet balanced, with the burrata melting beautifully into every bite. The presentation is just as impressive as the taste, and you can tell every pizza is crafted with care and passion. The cozy ambiance and attentive service made the experience even better. Highly recommend Leo’s for anyone who appreciates real, high-quality artisan pizza. Definitely a place I’ll be returning to often!

Great authentic wood fired pizza. Tried Margherita pizza, veg piccante pizza and Focaccia bread with garlic and butter. All were quite nice particularly the pizzas. Must visit if you like neapolitan pizzas. Only negative is the long wait time, no waiting area and advance booking option. Be ready to wait for average one hour waiting.
