Leo's Pizza

Stopped for lunch and I can honestly say it is the BEST pizza I’ve had. I was in NY and not even does it come close to the pizza I had. The crust was perfectly cooked and not burned at the bottom or edges. The pizza had so much flavor. The person making the pizza was also so nice and had such a great attitude, he was so attentive and nice. I highly recommend.

Everything at Leo’s Pizza is amazing from the stromboli to the pasta and every slice of pizza. No matter what you order, it always hits the spot! The food is fresh, flavorful, and made just right every single time. Definitely one of those places where you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu!

Walking in the door my wife and I were greeted by a very polite women at the counter (sorry didn’t get her name). She made you feel right at home with her hospitality. We ordered pizza and garlic rolls as pictured below. Food didn’t take that long to come out and was cooked perfectly. The food was very good and the warm welcoming was even better. You have to check out Leo’s Pizza, you won’t be disappointed.

My husband had told me about this place in the past. He had wanted to bring me here for nostalgic reasons and to try the food. This place is very small, about 3 or 4 booths inside, if I remember correctly. There is a little extra seating outside on their patio as well. The inside looks like it may have been very busy in its hey day. There are pieces of metal posts in the floor where a line from the door to the register would've been but had since We had eaten earlier, and each wanted only a slice. I was disappointed that they only offered pizza by the slice for lunchtime. So we ordered a small cheese pizza, an eggplant Parmesan sub, and 2 diet cokes. The pizza tasted very good, I prefer a browned cheese on top, but this was very flavorful. The real star of the meal was the Eggplant Parmesan sub. It was SO GOOD! The cheese was very melty, the bread was super soft, and the Eggplant, although being cut in large pieces, was cooked thoroughly and just went down my throat like butter. Delicious! There was only 1 person working but he was great. Constantly cleaning and making our food fairly quickly. This little pizza place is old school, there's not many pizza places like this left in Miami, making it a worthwhile visit.

Great selection of Italian food. Has been around for years this place is basically us staple Of Miami. They deliver but I prefer to just pick it up. Old-school place, no thrills just great food. You can eat there, but it's basically a takeout place.

We go here regularly, but it's been a while since I've left a review and I tried something new to me yesterday so here you go. We love this neighborhood gem. Food is fresh and delicious! Prices are great considering the rising cost of food. I got a chicken parm sub and it was so dang good! It was huge too; I was only able to eat half. I got a cheese pizza and garlic rolls for the rest of the fam and they loved it per usual! Thanks Leo's!

A decent enough pizza, it was totally loaded but the center of the pizza was soggy. I wish it was a little more baked, but maybe that's just a personal choice.. This location is on a main road in Coral way.

Unauthorized Tip!! BE AWARE!! USE CASH ONLY!! On Feb 16, 2024 I came in to order my food and paid $12.35 with by credit card. Two days later I went to bank account notice I had a unauthorized charge of two dollars more from Leo's Pizza. I've coming there for 20yrs when I order for delivery I give driver a good tip and when i order inside to pick up I do not tip.

CREDIT CARD FRAUD. BE AWARE. I suggest that if you must go, to use cash only!! The food is very good. I have been there 3 times in the past few months. All 3 times they have committed fraud as the first 2 times they added additional tip. The most recent, I paid tip in cash and they still added a tip on the credit card. A friend of mine told me that he only pays in cash - the entire bill. I have brought each incident to my credit card's attention as a dispute and won. But this is clearly CREDIT CARD FRAUD and the CARD BRAND ASSOCIATION is advised as well. In cases like this, The ASSOCIATION rescinds the ability for this merchant/ owner to be able to accept credit cards at all and they are blacklisted.

I've been going to this pizza joint for decades and is STILL THE BEST PIZZA around. There entrees are pretty good.

Love this place!! Best tasting pizza I've had in a really long time. Family owned. They use fresh ingredients. The pizza gets to you hot and delicious. I used to go there while in high school. Loved it back then, love it now. Free delivery!

Pizza is delicious the restaurant needs to be updated the same it's been as long as I've been going there. Always do take out.

We ordered a medium cheese pizza, a manticoni, and a spaghetti with meatball. I came here based off the reviews and I'm honestly glad I did. The cook and cashier were so welcoming. I had questions about the menu and they were both so nice. Honestly I'm not sure how I can see bad reviews on here with the experience I had. If you're craving good pizza and pasta I'd 100% recommend this place. I'll definitely be coming more. Oh yeah and we had the garlic rolls! Crunchy and soft center!! I'm telling you to try this place !! :)

Gracious host and even better pizza! We got a couple of slices with extra cheese and pepperoni. Crust was light and delicious and the garlic rolls were top knot too!! Great folks too- open here for 40 years! We will be back for more.

By far the best pizza in Miami. My dad would take me here growing up. Hadn't eatin here in years as its really far for me but I was in the area and had to stop by. After several years its still the same great tasting delicious pizza. I love pizza and I will say this has been and still is the absolute best pizza!

This is the best pizza place in Miami with the best service!! My husband and I drove all the way from Sunrise just for the pizza. Half way there we called to place a Togo order. I began the call by asking how long it would be for a CL cheese Togo since we were coming from Broward and Maria said tell me what time you will be here and I will make sure your pizza is coming out the oven as soon as you arrive...and let me tell you she was not lying. We pulled out as soon as the pizza was ready! Maria was amazing she talked to us, thanked us for our business and driving all the way down there to support the business. Words can't describe how fresh and amazing the pizza is..you just have to try it for yourself!

Very nice owner and pizzas maker, friendly, outgoing and won't rip you off. Prices are fairly reasonable too. Only reason it doesn't get four stars because it's not and never could be genuine NYC pizza which, minus Italy, has the best pizza in the world.

I've been coming to Leo's for many years and it's really hard to top this dive like pizza place. I absolutely love their pizza which is done in a brick oven. The pies are made to perfection and the flavor of the pizza is my favorite in the area. Try it and you won't be disappointed. They also have some pretty good rolls as well. I really haven't tried the pasta dishes and they don't have desserts. Now if you end up waiting for your order just have a beer which they have on draft and then relax. Their prices are reasonable and if you pay cash you'll receive a discount I been coming o Leos for many years and the reason why is I love their pizza Try it and you will be surprised.

This pizza place is a little secret in Miami. The pizza is great and the garlic bread is one of the best. Good peeps who work there as well.

We have been ordering from them for years, but no more. We tried to order from them through Uber eats two weeks ago and it was canceled one minute before the order was due to arrive! No explanation nor was there any apologies. Tonight, we tried one more time and ordered a sausage pizza. They delivered one with absolutely no sauce on it. And, it was bland to boot. We won't be ordering again.

What a great pizza joint! After an afternoon of fun with my little nephews I stopped by this place to get pizza. We ordered a large cheese pizza and a special one with different toppings. Both pizzas were prepared fast and the owner was very generous with the toppings. You have the option of buying individual drinks or a large 2-liter soda. The prices and the food were very good. Will happily return!

These people have the best garlic rolls ever. Better than Big Cheese, hands down. Pizza rocks too.

Great calzones! fast service and usually empty. they have parking to the side and they deliver (sadly not to my office) its a mom-pop shop with leo still working the register.

Came to this spot to order pizza. We walked in an hour before they closed and they said that they were not making any more pizzas. No explanation. They never even looked at us in the face. I didn't understand why since we had gotten there an hour before they close. Their exact words were "we're not making anymore pizzas" with an attitude. I get that we're living in weird and difficult times but really disappointing to see the way people speak to each other nowadays. I'd encourage this business to update their hours on here so that this doesn't happen to someone else.

Just walked in. 9:50pm. Your hours say you're open. The guy making pizza says he's not making anymore pizza with an attitude. The lady at the front doesn't seem to care. You're a small business. You'd think you'd want some customers. Instead you send us away and we won't return because of the attitude and unwillingness to even listen to us. Complete crap. I hope this review helps anyone who's looking for a good place, to NOT spend their money where it's obviously not wanted.

Best pizza I've had in a long time. Nothing fancy about this place, but good prices and great taste. Also, the cheese rolls are on point!

Pizza and cheesy garlic rolls are so yummy! A little late but I was very thankful when they were opened on Christmas Day.

Was disappointed last year when we ordered pizza because it was too greasy but ordered today and they were delicious ! The garlic rolls were too !! No comparison to fast food pizza delivery. Will be ordering from them again. My only suggestion would be my preference of ground sausage to sliced. Everything was great !

New to the area, we were looking for a good ole regular pepperoni pizza. Pictures online brought us to this place. We were going to call the order but found two different menus online. The prices on the board were covered up but they had a paper menu waiting at the counter. We were starving and the pizza came out quickly. It was decently priced for the size and quality. Although it won't be our regular pizza place, it definitely hit the spot and would be perfect to feed a large group of people.

Ordered take out. 1) large - half pepperoni/bacon 2) half - meat lovers/D'luxe and dozen garlic rolls. Cashier over the phone was very pleasant and helpful I helping choose our pies. One thing off was that she couldn't give me a total over the phone, but whatever. They are located east bound on Flagler right before 67 avenue. It's spotless in there with a wide open kitchen. The pizzas were extremely hot and heavy. You can tell they're made fresh to order not frozen. Warning! The meat lovers is seriously for meat lovers lol. It's a layer of sauce, pork, ham, pepperoni, ground beef, and mozzarella cheese. Heavy!! I couldn't finish my slice since I started this one second. Very delicious though. The D'luxe was my favorite - green peppers, mushrooms, onions, ham, sauce, black olives, and mozzarella cheese. My hubby and best friend orders half bacon and half pepperoni and they said it was super good. I definitely will be ordering from them again. Sweet little neighborhood gem.

Online listed hours are wrong. No interest in correcting them. Counter server said everything on the internet is wrong including the menu. Why bother correcting things for your customers right? Way easier to just tell them everything online is wrong than take an interest in getting more clients.

Let me qualify this by saying that as a rule I generally order from the big cheese. Today I wanted to try something different for lunch and decided to give Leo's a try. After reading the reviews, the garlic cheese knots were a must. Ordered a mushroom pizza as well. The cheese knots were as good as expected and easily something that I could get addicted to. The pizza was actually much better than expected. The crust was thin, sauced just right and had plenty of cheese. Mushrooms were well seasoned and the pizza was baked to the right doneness. Overall a very positive experience and somewhere I will order from again.

I decided to try out a different neighborhood family-owned pizzeria in my area. As most of you know, I'm a pepperoni gal so an extra large pie of a sizzling pepperoni pizza pie is exactly what I was craving last night when I ordered delivery. I will say they arrived very quickly and were also open late. To me, the dough could have been a bit crunchier. I felt that many times when I tried folding my slice it would droop down because it was mildly soggy. Also, the pepperoni rationed out to about two toppings per slice which is borderline dismal for me. I do like that it wasn't too doughy and was on the thinner side. I have a copy of the menu now so I will try their pases dishes on another night and update my review accordingly. It's a no frills kinda spot that delivers in the gables and west Miami area. The garlic rolls were good so they win in that department. There's room for improvement.

I ordered the stromboli here. It was so huge, it fed two of us. It was insanely good and i believe it posseses the power to cure hangovers.We asked for extra jalapenos and tomato sauce on the side and it comes in regular sized cups as in what they put their drinks in so this place does not play when it comes to its portions. Aside from the small location and old building, if you can get past that, i definitely would recommend this place to my friends. P.s. i ordered a small stromboli. It was the length of the pizza box it was delivered in.

Good Pizza, real hand tossed pizza. 2 slices really fill you up. Ate pizza here while waiting for an oil change at Braman Honda. Worth the wait better than sitting with old ladies complaining about there 20 year old honda. (That's a compliment, Honda. Their cars are still running). For the taste and the speed of readyness.. Wuu! YEAH That's Hot! Watched Braves vs. Marlins and heard the little virtual slot machine in the back all the time I was there. I felt I was on a Casino for a while. Oh, yeah, the pizza. It's ok. I used to order here all the time years ago. I decided to order a medium cheese pizza. The pizza was awful, under cooked and bland. I called to let them know how awful it was. I wasn't looking for a refund. I just wanted to let them know how disappointed I was. The girl who answered the phone apologized and advised me Leo made the pizza. It makes me sad to say I'll never order from them again. This is what I get for not ordering from Magic City.

I am impressed, Leo's Pizza was definitely fantastic. Prices were right. You will never be disappointed with anything that you order from here, Stromboli is really flavorful and yammy. The staff is very helpful. I really valued that. Leo's Pizza gets it right over and over again.

I can't believe it's taken me this long to eat at Leo's pizza. I've passed this place 1,000 times and finally decided to give it a shot. I was definitely not disappointed. Super friendly and welcoming staff. The pizza was delicious. Cooked perfectly with the right amount of sauce and cheese. We also ordered garlic rolls as well which were pretty tasty. They make them with garlic powder (which I was scepital about), but they tasted good. Soft and chewy with a crunchy top to them. I will surely be visiting them again.

I've lived in the area for most of my life and Leo's Pizza is one of those places that you pass by and think "Man, I have to try that place". A while back we finally decided to give it a shot and ordered a pie to go (Meat Lover's and Leo's Special). I've gotta say, it's fantastic. Thin, but still soft crust and the toppings are piled on so high you'll have trouble getting the pizza to you plate (or mouth) from the box without spilling half of them. Hell, even after spilling the pizza's still loaded. Much tastier that the chain pizzas in the area. It's run by really nice people too. We once got a pizza with the wrong toppings (their fault) and they told us to come back and pick up another pizza on the house. No fuss, no complaints, just come and get it.

I ordered a half cheese, half pepperoni pizza over the phone for pick up. After ordering I asked her how much it would be, and she said she couldn't tell me. I was confused because I've never been told that before, so she told me again that she was unable to tell me because she "couldn't put it in the system" at that moment. She told me my order would be around $14-$15. I said OK. I remember reading this from previous reviews that they do not tell you the price over the phone. Strange.... The pizza is good. I see why people are big fans of this place. However, I think that there's better pizza spots nearby. I ordered a medium pizza with garlic rolls, and it cost us $13. Pretty good price. This isn't my first choice for pizza, but it's not my last.

Phone was busy for order so we parked and stopped in. The pizza is not too thick in dough but the cheese and toppings are fresh. Perfect pit stop for the pizza craving on our way.
