Firstly, I would mention I ordered this place 2x and did a dine-in once. The dine-in was great, had a pizza which I made customizations to and it was great. Both the times I have order from this place, it has been disappointing. Once I ordered, mentioned no-meat in the notes, they sent me meat based pizza - had to throw it away. Second time I ordered margarita pizza, and it was pretty unusual pizza (photo is attached). There was no tomato sauce, cheese was not melted and half of the pizza was just crust. If this place calls it an Italian place, your expectation would be of a classical Italian wood-fired pizza, this wasn’t even remotely close. This experience makes it last time for me to get pizza from this place, might try other things though.

We came back to Leo’s after several years and they have made great changes including renovations to their space. The food is great and our waitress was very kind! We were sent a voucher for a wonderful 3-course experience for just $30 each. If you are thinking of trying this restaurant again or have never been, definitely go! We will definitely be back

Celebrating with my nephew and his new wife, we all enjoyed wonderful 3 course dinners of appetizers, dinners, and desserts all for 30 dollars. GREAT FOOD and GREAT SERVICE!!

My wife and I have not had a meal like that in a long time! Everything was perfect and so generous! The atmosphere was romantic and upbeat. From the appetizer all the way through the dessert we were so happy and cannot wait to go back again! Always the best meal when we go there! Thank you Lee, Chris and Andy!

We tried Leo's last night to see if it's comparable to Mare E Monte and Via in Worcester. The parking situation is comparable to Mare E Monte with your only option being a free valet unless you park on a different street and walk (if you try and park in the lot across the street, the valet will find you!) The actual location and parking situation of Leo's is pretty annoying and we almost cancelled our reservation because of that. The atmosphere is nice and gives you the feeling that Leo's is a more upscale Italian restaurant (With the exception of the dead bugs in the lights). Service was slow due to one waitress attending the entire dining area. Dinner comes with bread, butter, and olive oil. As an Italian and bread lover, I was disappointed in the quality. In fact, the whole experience was disappointing. The cocktail menu initially wasn't offered and then when we asked for one, it was a small card with a few unoriginal cocktails. The drinks were okay. We ordered ravioli with meatballs and veal saltimbocca (veal with prosciutto)over linguine. The veal and linguine was bland and not seasoned at all. The ravioli was okay, however the meatballs were underwhelming and the marina sauce tasted identical to the sauce that's in a can of SpaghettiOs. On a positive note, the dessert was pretty good. I normally don't complain to a manager. I feel like if you are going to put that little of an effort into seasoning food and providing quality meals, I'm not going to get a better effort after saying something. We tried Leo's to say we tried it, but we won't be going back. If you are in the Worcester area and look for quality Italian food, there are much better options.

Ambiance is very nice. Waitress was a sweetheart and had a great sense of humor. Menu seemed to be downsized most likely because of Covid. The food was very appetizing and full of flavor. The only thing that I would pick on here was the calamari that was in my dish was way over cooked. That's usually a young inexperienced kid in the kitchen that makes that mistake. Squid is best to throw in at the last 45 to 60 seconds. To long turns it into rubber O rings. After what these restaurants have been through with this Covid stuff I couldn't even let them know that I was unsatisfied with just that one part of my dish. 4 stars. Tip your Waitress well! They deserve it. We gave her 30% just for being so happy!

We had our first date at Leo’s, got engaged at Leo’s and now bring our son to Leo’s! We can’t say enough nice things. Best chicken parm I’ve ever had, and the service is always great. Gill makes the best drinks, especially the lemon drop martini. Convenient parking. If you’re looking for a special place for dinner, look no further.

Google
We decided to go after seeing a show at The Hanover. I ordered the lasagna and my mother had the chicken cacciatore. Both were generous portions and full of flavor. I also had a pumpkin expresso martini and wasn’t bad but didn’t really taste like pumpkin. Our waitress was great!

Yelp
You seat yourself here. I'm not sure what the layout of the business is here in terms of normal wait times and whatnot, but it kind of felt like an eternity when it came to getting our orders taken, getting our food, and even getting our check. The calamari was ok, could've been crispier. I was unsure on what I felt about the pickled cherry peppers. The Alfredo was ok, but the Tuscany was not for me. I've never had Tuscany pasta before. But I don't like the weird bitter taste that the sauce has. I was weary of bringing the rest back home, but my husband insisted he'll eat it, so we asked for it to go. After paying, we thought it would be packed, but after a while, we saw nothing and just decided to forego the leftovers and leave. It didn't help that I was actually hungry that day too and nothing else I wanted was open. This place is just not for me.

Yelp
Stopped in here for Restaurant week. Set far back from main strip, it is hard to find. They have complimentary valet parking. The hostess was very nice and sat us right away. Our waitress came right over and was very attentive. They had a good wine selection, but unfortunately they had no beers on tap, just bottled and canned. We went with the restaurant week specials. I had a nice Cesar salad and the wife a version of crab Rangoon, that was stuffed with sausage. She had the chicken parmigiana and I had the chicken carbonara. She was very happy with hers and mine was good but not amazing. The chicken was small and there could have been more sauce. My dessert was also not made in house but was still good. The place itself was nice and clean, but we had a very loud table next to us, which of course isn't their fault.

Yelp
This particular trip we left after 25 minutes at our table with no one ever speaking to us. We then left and went to Nuovo 450 ft away. I have been here twice before and honestly this was our last attempt with this place. In all honesty there is better food and service up and down Shrewsbury st. Do yourself a favor and go there.

Yelp
Every time I come to Worcester Leo's is a MUST! I first heard about it from a volunteer at a local nonprofit thrift store. She insisted that Leo's is a local favorite not be missed. This time around, Paige was our server and she insured an amazing experience which well exceeded expectations. Everything she recommended was amazing and it was so nice to have someone who is so on top of things. Thanks Leos! You will remain on top of our list next time (and every time) we leave the PNW to visit Worcester.

Yelp
Veal Alberto was tough and buried in the pink peppercorn sauce- virtually leaving no identifiable flavors. Baked Haddock was soggy and French fries although crispy tasted of old oil. Our waitress was pleasant that was the one star.

Yelp
Hosted my daughter's first communion celebration here, it was absolutely wonderful. Friendly and attentive staff who treated me so kindly and made sure I was taken care of throughout the whole event. Delicious food and wonderful atmosphere. Thank you! Highly recommend!

Yelp
My husband and I was are first time ordering from them and they were very kind and nice. Yelp
Coming from Boston I expected something else. The cooks were lazy on every pasta item. It was riccotta cheese in globs with just two layers of sheet pasta for the watery lasagna dish. The Caesar salad was un-tossed and barely had crouton or cheese on top, which showed little care. They also cut corners with the "alredo" with mammoth clumps of chicken and broccoli disproportionate to pasta and canned mushrooms. Not much time was spent to cut up the chicken pieces, much less to marinate it, or bother about real mushrooms, so this is hard 2. The service was top notch at the end of the day.

Yelp
Honestly if I was an owner, I would want to know about a bad experience, and try to rectify the situation. Surprisingly have had owners reach out to me before but we will see! It was our family's first and likely last time going to Leo's. We were trying it out as we had a party of 9 for my grandmother in laws birthday and it was just a very bad experience. We had a 5 o clock reservation and were seated on time, didn't leave til 7pm. -parking lot was a sheet of ice -we were seated and everything seemed to be going well with our waitress, she was responsive and brought bread out but our drinks took 10 minutes to get to us. Somehow they had no apple juice or draft beer, and only powdered lemonade they could give us to make ourselves -we ordered food and it took 50 minutes to get 5 of the customers starter salads -my beer bottle of Sam Boston lager was room temperature, definitely not refrigerated -30 minutes after the salads came out and we were done eating them, all the food came out except my grandmother in laws lobster ravioli, which took an extra 6 minutes so we all started eating while she had to wait -my wife's chicken piccata was seemingly a Marsala sauce with capers, and her chicken was bad (chunky with a tendon in it) -my veal saltimbocca had veal that was an inch thick and chewy -my brother in law got the veal Alberto (pink peppercorn sauce and lobster/shrimp - the shrimp still had the tail shell, was clearly from a package of some sort. There was barely any lobster, and the sauce was only over the veal, so 80% of the pasta was basically boiled to cook and put on the plate plain -the Margherita pizza had mozzarella cheese cubes all over it that were cold and clearly put on after the pizza was cooked -the waiter took 10 minutes to get me my card back with the bill that I handed to her right away -with the big party there is a 20% included gratuity - we were so far done at this point I didn't have time to try and find a manager or talk to the waitress about it. Honestly I would've not tipped if I could have. -at the end when you try to leave, the valet parks cars behind all the cars in parking spots, so you have to ask them to move a car to get out of the parking lot. I actually had to back out of the lot onto the street Thanks for reading!

Yelp
Worst dining experience ever! Waited 15 minutes to be acknowledged by the server. My chicken picatta looked like kids' chicken fingers with a few capers thrown on top, and was so overcooked, I only managed two small bites. The waitress didn't return until my husband was finished with his meal, asked how everything was, and I told her it was terrible. She said, "Oh, I could have told you they always overcook the chicken here. Unless it's chicken parm". What?! No apology or offer to make it right, just asked if we wanted dessert (um, NO), and then handed us a bill with 20% gratuity already added in, with no way to modify it. Is that even legal?!

Yelp
I'm not going to lie, this wasn't my first choice for dinner...not even my second or third. Our first choice was booked and our other choices of places we wanted to try were also booked. I had been here years ago and I remembered it was good, but I really love trying new places. I tried Leo's and they had an opening for the early dinner we wanted. We arrived at our reservation time and the hostess/server told us we could sit wherever we wanted as no one else was there yet, so we picked a table right in front of the fireplace. Our server was Laura G and we asked her for recommendations. My partner picked the Baked Lasagna and I picked the Sautéed Chicken Spinazola, we also ordered an individual house salad and an individual Caesar salad. We were served bread with oil and our drinks while we waited on our food. The decor inside was very nice. I read other reviews saying that it was 'old' inside, but other than a few dated pieces it was nicely decorated. Our salads came and we were pleasantly surprised at the size and they were very fresh and delicious. I would definitely get salads there again and I'm very picky with my salads. Our dinners arrived and they were BIG. My partner commented on the delicious sauce with the lasagna and it's deep red color, he thought the lasagna noodles were a tad bit too al dente for his taste. My sautéed chicken Spinazola was amazing, my only complaint is it was made with chicken tenders and they didn't remove the tendons from it. I had to cut them out while I was eating the chicken. But, I had enough leftovers to take home for another meal!!! The salads were $6. each, the lasagna was $19. and the sautéed chicken Spinazola was $23. Our server was wonderful. We will definitely eat here again sometime!

Yelp
The new generation is sneaky and deceiving about their food. Twice they have replaced gorgonzola with blue cheese in a sauce which made the pasta dish SUPER gross and inedible, as if we wouldn't be able to tell- are you serious?! Fool me once, shame on you... fool me twice, shame on me! NEVER AGAIN! Franny would've never allowed this in his kitchen; you should be ashamed! And the food is not cheap! I literally wasted $30+ on a dish I cant even force myself to eat!

Yelp
Still a fantastic place even if the parking has become difficult recently. They do have free valet parking to help which I'm sure is hurting them. Oh ya and the food is still Great!!

Michael F.

Yelp
Leo's could be the most inconsistent restaurant I have ever experienced!! I have ordered meals there that are amazing.....I have also ordered meals there that were completely inedible. In my opinion, playing Russian Roulette with a dinner is worse than going to a consistently mediocre establishment.

Yelp
Went here for my birthday as I've never been and always wanted to check it out. The place is cute. We sat at the bar because we don't need to be fancy. The service was great and always attentive. For drinks we just got a hard seltzer and a beer (nothing special). For food my boyfriend got some sort of shrimp plate that was off the specials list. He thought it was very good and he's not a pasta lover like myself. I got the "fettuccine" Alfredo with prosciutto and chicken. First of all for a Italian restaurant I find it weird that it came with spaghetti instead of actual fettuccine. The chicken had no seasoning whatsoever. The dish was overall just really bland. And it was VERY oily. My leftovers the next day had more oil than alfredo sauce. I was very disappointed because I've heard this place was really great! We will definitely go again because on Mon & Tues they have a great special where you get a percentage of your check back in a gift card to come back. So I will definitely try something else from the menu.

Dave M.

Yelp
So very mixed reviews. We were very excited to try Leo's. We had heard so much. We very much enjoyed the food and service. The wait staff was amazing, the cocktails were on point and the food was delicious. Up to this point i would highly recommend. Where things turned the corner was when we were leaving. My wife used the restroom before leaving and came out disgusted. She stated" that has she visited the restroom prior to dinner, we would have left". Ouch. On top of that, my wife is gluten free and order the gluten free pasta and the whole ride home she was sick. Now she is gluten "intolerant" not siliac. Cross contamination does not make her sick, the they must have served her regular pasta. So, again mixed reviews. No sure we would repeat.

Yelp
Bland & Uninspiring Leo's Ristorante is like most Italian restaurants in Massachusetts, overcooked pasta, large family style portions, and reasonable priced. I like these restaurants, their problem is the food. I ordered a Chicken Marsala and an Antipasto family style. The Chicken Marsala had no flavor and the Antipasto had little meats or cheeses. Their rolls are very good. 5/10

Yelp
food was delicious, sat us right away while other restaurants had a wait. my group ordered meatball penne, shrimp fettucini, stuffed shells, chicken parm and gnocci and everyone loved it!!

Yelp
Leos freshness never disappoints. The charm in the place is terrific. Service was excellent.

Morgan O.

Yelp
I'm giving 5 stars based on my delivery order through DoorDash. They prepared my food very quickly during dinner rush. I ordered a side Caesar salad, mozzarella sticks, chicken parmigiana, and a side of penne with vodka sauce. The side caesar salad was HUGE and was so delicious! The chicken parmigiana was also HUGE and it was made very well and tasted very fresh. The mozzarella sticks were nothing to write home about, but they weren't bad. The side of penne with vodka sauce was delicious. If I ordered here again I would get something with vodka sauce. The servings are very generous and I enjoyed my food.

Marcia H.

Yelp
I was extremely disappointed when I participated in the shrewsbury street pub crawl and was told, rudely, they weren't doing it this year! They were listed on the map but apparently backed out. The level of rudeness turned me off from ever wanting to even go back for dinner.

Taylor E.

Yelp
You shouldn't be able to list "valet service" on your website if you can't service all patrons that make dinner reservations in advance. We arrived early for our reservation, which was before a show at the DCU Center, and ultimately had to cancel because of this. We would have missed our show had we continued to dine after driving around town looking for street parking.

Yelp
First time trying this place out because of restaurant week. We both got to choose one app, one entree, and a dessert. The Italian Rangoon was good. Filled with sausage and ? Cream cheese and came with a sweet sauce to dip it in. Not sure if I liked the sauce, but it did off set the spicy sausage(but I don't do spice) the mozzarella stick were not very good. (I've had better out of the frozen section). The bread and butter came out after 10 minutes of being seated and we didn't get our drinks yet. Also might I add that half the restaurant was partitioned off for some type of meeting so not that busy. The restaurant was kind of on the colder side, but I'm not sure if this was because they sat us close to the door. We got our food before a couple that was at a table beside us and I could tell the couple were not too happy about that. The chicken and broccoli was not what we expected but ok. The chicken parm was just ok. The chicken was cooked just right and tender but the sauce reminded me of ragu. We waited awhile for our waitress to come back and ask us for boxes, and ordered our desserts. Never did she ask if we wanted more to drink. Our desserts took longer to come out then our actual meal. Then we got our check, and again had to wait. Don't think I will be back or refer this place to anyone.

Dan B.

Yelp
As usual the food tasted pretty good. A little bland. I had a few complaints. 1. They had issues with the fryer and could not make anything fried like chicken parm or veal parm. What Italian restaurant can't make anything like that fried. They couldn't pan fry them? Then they offer only two kinds of pasta linguini or penne. They were out of linguini.... Are you kidding me. So my mother order veal parm with linguini. A simple normal Italian dish. She ended up with meatballs and penne. This was a Saturday night. I think some better planning would have gone a long way. Service was Really really slow and the place wasn't full for a Saturday night. I will try again but I hope the next time they get these problems fixed or at least have a better plan of nothing fried and one type of pasta to choose from.

S D.

Yelp
Sadly, waited 2 hours and was never served, even though we had a reservation. Said they were working on the order but just a hollow promise. If you cannot handle the traffic, don't ruin you your valued customer evening simply because of your greed.

Yelp
We came here for Worcester restaurant week to try their menu. Their options were plentiful and pasta portions were large! There was ample parking in the back lot, so you can avoid valet if you don't mind walking a few feet through a parking lot. With such a large brick building, I don't see how anyone could get lost trying to find it. I ordered the Caesar salad for start, Fettuccine Alfredo with Prosciutto for my main, and Spumoni for dessert. When we sat down we were promptly greeted and asked if we needed time to look over the menu or needed any drinks. The bread rolls they brought out were so delicious, I kind of regret not asking for more. We asked if we could have a few moments then put in drink orders. Chatted for a minute and then we ordered from the Worcester restaurant week menu. The dinner service was quick but not abrupt. Our main dishes came out just as we finished our starters and they didn't make us feel rushed at all. We had such a good time chatting and eating, it was a good atmosphere. The staff didn't interrupt awkwardly and the flow of the service was very nice. My Fettuccine alfredo with prosciutto was excellent. The sauce stayed at a consistent texture and the noodles didn't get too sticky or clumpy. With the prosciutto added as a flavor component it wasn't too strong of a flavor, but balanced it just right. The wait staff suggested to wait until we finished our main dish to decide upon dessert. This ended up being a great suggestion as by the time we finished our large portions of pasta I kind of was hesitating on dessert until she explained them fully. I was happy they explained the desserts because I convinced my bf to order one, so I could order the other and secretly have both. :D At the end of the night, service was exceptional, they touched base with us to make sure we needed anything at just the right intervals and constantly refilled our drinks without much effort on our part. The lighting here is dim in the dining room so if you're wanting it a little brighter perhaps sit near the bar if possible by the back entrance.

Kathi R.

Yelp
Love Leo's! The atmosphere, the food is amazing! Recommend the Antipasto, shrimp scampi, lasagna and the chicken or eggplant Parmesan. Servings are huge. Make reservations and ask for table near the fireplace for a perfect date night!

Yelp
I really can't figure out what people are ripping this place about. It is NOT a trendy new place on Shrewsbury Street, it is an OLD SCHOOL ITALIAN place that welcomes new customers and former customers equally. We have been there twice and both meals were lovely. My pasta was perfectly al dente, and it was angel hair. The house specials might be best. The flavor profiles are wonderful.

Yelp
Went to Leo's in Worcester for Father's Day...BIG MISTAKE Had 7:30 reservations...arrived 5 minutes early, only one other table was occupied. Started with an order of calamari with a marinara sauce. Waitress delivered what was probably the smallest order I've ever seen...bland and tasteless, sauce was little more than unseasoned canned tomatoes. Waited almost 90 minutes from placing order to dinner arriving at thev table. Asked the waitress about the hold up...was told because they had been busy all afternoon???? It was 8:15 a far cry from the afternoon. Food finally arrived and looks amazing. Son had stuffed eggplant...quite tasty, with a side of pasta...same plain unseasoned "sauce" that served with the calamari. Daughter had pasta with seafood...she said it was good....a huge portion of seafood, enough for at least 2 meals. Their mother had seafood risotto..again a huge portion of seafood, but dish was so salty it was virtually inedible. I had a chicken and eggplant dish in a tomato wine sauce. Eggplant was yummy, the sautéed chicken and mushrooms, so salty tasted like the Atlantic Ocean...all I was able to eat was a few bites. When I moved to Ma 25 years ago Leo's was outstanding. Have eaten there 3 times since, with each visit the food has become progressively disappointing. As in baseball three strikes and you're out

Yelp
My husband and I ate here on Valentines Day which we never go out on Valentine's Day but wanted to go to our old favorite spot. We had not been there in a few years. I was sadly disappointed as there just no ambience for the evening nothing special. We both realize food is expensive enough, so we put that aside, we ordered our meal, my husband ordered ravioli and meatballs and I had no idea what to order so I had the meat balls and a salad, which was so basic. It did not seem like our Leo's we used to go to. Our waitress was nice but very busy and passed us a few times when we wanted another drink. We even understood that, , however my husband did not care for his meal and took it home it is in my refrig . We did have the fried calamari for an appetizer that was tasty not the best I ever remember having there. Overall, I am saddened by the quality of the food, NOTHING that was Valentines Day Special not even the dessert. There are so many places now and I am afraid that this won't be considered a stop we would make again.

Lisa B.

Yelp
Very expensive, carpet needs to be replaced. Ordered veal parmigiana... very tough.... Will not go back.

Yelp
My husband and I went to Leo's for an early dinner before a show at the Hanover Theater. I had looked at some reviews before going and I must disagree with the "less than stellar" reviews. We had a reservation and when we arrived we were promptly and cheerfully greeted and led to our table which was preset with water and cheese and oil. Our server was Gillian, and when she came to take our drink order we told her we had tickets to a show so had a time limit. Her response was absolutely on target - she asked what time we needed to leave and said she would make sure we were out on time. I ordered the risotto and my husband ordered the veal saltimbocca, with a small antipasto for a shared starter. The small antipasto was huge and we only ate half. The mains were brought out at just the right time, and both were delicious! We thought the food was excellent and the service was top notch. We even had time for a coffee for him and an espresso for me. This is a lovely Italian-American restaurant with a traditional decor. Gillian was cheerful and friendly, and made sure we were out on time. The food was generous and delightful. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants a nice meal in a quiet, and even romantic setting.

Yelp
I just held my daughter's baby shower at Leo's. The experience was wonderful, They were so attentive and accommodating. The service was spectacular, the food was awesome and the day was memorable. I highly recommend!

Yelp
Get food, great service, great Rose wine, great atmosphere! Definitely recommend it to people looking for a low key mom and pop feel. Prices weren't too bad, not too expensive but not cheap either. I can't wait to go back soon!

Yelp
I went here on a first date. It was a great restaurant with friendly service & good food! I would totally go there again!

Yelp
Always go to Leo's for our Anniv. and special occassions. Just celebrated our 40th Anniv. and we were not dissapointed. The food was outstanding and so reasonable. Our aitress Denisa was on top of her game dispite being a very busy Saturday nite. Never forgot us and couldn't do enough to make our nite enjoyable. The Chicken Parm is to die for...forget Boston...enough for 2 meals! lol. The veal was soooo tender an juicy...Don't forget the Bar...soooo coool and great bartender and engaging. Overall...The North End is here, without the high price and better!

Yelp
Old School Italian? I'm unclear how an 'authentic' Italian Restaurant is out of Campari, romaine lettuce, bracciole, and no Barolo.? Great looking interior that needs a good cleaning of restaurant and menu. Sad.

Yelp
A friend and I went here on a Monday at approximately 5:30pm. The unassuming neon sign pointing you down Leo Turo Way does not do this establishment justice. It is intimately lit, with beautiful brick and decor as well as a fire place. We sat ourselves and there was one other party present. I ordered the pasta Tuscany and she ordered the eggplant parmesan. We also got a caesar salad and garlic bread with the meal to split. They began the meal with warm bread and oil, as well as water. Our food was ready quickly and portions were impressive, especially since typically when a place looks as fancy as Leo's you don't expect to leave as full as we did. The food was all spectacular, I've had a lot of garlic bread in my life and I can safely say Leo's is the best I've ever had. The caesar salad was also phenomenal and the dressing was very creamy. Our pasta dishes were both excellent and we both left raving to one another about how good the food was. We subsequently recommended Leo's to no less than four of our friends within moments of returning. I would 100% return and will continue to recommend this restaurant / ristorante to people. The wait staff was also friendly and attentive, frequently refilling drinks and just generally being exceptional.

Yelp
Pricey Italian. But legit! Reallllly good pasta here. And the portions are HUGE. I had it for leftovers the next day and it still tasted amazing. Our server was friendly and chit-chatted with us a bit so that was nice. With a tip, I spent $26 for a beer and the gnocchi. Yummy!

Yelp
Came here for a baby shower so it was buffet style. I took some antipasto salad (lettuce, tomatoes, onions, salami, pepperoni, provolone cheese etc.) and a meatball with red sauce. Sooooo good!! I would drive back to Worcester for that salad again. The meatballs were tender and home made (all different shapes). Home run in my book. I would like to bottle that salad dressing up to go! Needless to say I went back up for a huge plate of salad and more meatballs.

Yelp
Authentic Italian food and a great atmosphere. The antipasto is awesome! Chis, Jill and the staff are great and make you feel at home.

Yelp
This review is for my fabulous dinner last night. Another restaurant nearby closed early (before7) due to lack of patrons. We stumbled to Leo's because I remembered they had great cherry pepper calamari which I knew my husband would like. I ordered something totally different off the specials menu and my haddock francaise style over risotto. Wow blew me away!!! Great sauce they do veal and chicken this way too. Home run hit. Excellent tiramisu light and fluffy as well. And while no restaurant seems efficiently staffed post Covid there were several young workers hustling to get the job done. Thank you for a great experience Leo's

Yelp
Let me start by saying if you are looking for a trendy new spot on Shrewsbury St. this is NOT the place for you! But if you are looking for really good, authentic Italian food then GET HERE. Leo's has the perfect balance of basics (chicken picatta, meatballs, cacciatore) and house specials to suit any eater. Added bonus...gluten free pasta! Just be prepared to wait a little longer to have it served up. But really if you start with the antipasto like any good Italian you won't even notice the wait. My family raves about the dinner rolls and we all can't come here without getting dessert. The tiramisu is highly recommended.

Yelp
Great customer service. Really enjoyed my experience, although the meatballs could have used a little more flavor. Everything else was great.

Yelp
Really wanted to love this place but overall....would not recomend unfortunately. The dining room I thought was beautiful and we got to sit next to the fire place. Waitress was nice! The stuffed mushroom and caesar salad was decent. And then the food was downhill from there... Our pasta dishes tasted like the meat was defrosted...just didnt taste right, like it was on the verge of going bad. There was some chewy cartilage parts in it that I had to spit back up. The sauces tasted like they came out of a can. But the portion was large. Then when I had the ice cream...there was a piece of cardboard in it. I'm sorry to say I this was a bad experience... Hopefully kitchen steps it up and maybe they an improve or make some changes.

Yelp
I loved everything about this place. The menu was great - extensive pasta, meat and seafood entrees. The antipasti, calamari, and bruschetta were great - massive portions, as well. The entrees were large and all served hot. Our waitress was extremely attentive. I can't say enough good things about this restaurant

Yelp
We made a 6:45pm reservation but arrived early and were seated right away, a party of 4. The server took our drink order right away, served them timely and took our food orders, which was pasta dishes and 2 appetizers. The appetizers came out in a timely manner. However, this is where the night derailed. We sat and sat and after finishing our soft drinks we waited and waited. After 15 minutes the server came and asked if we wanted another round. She brought the soft drinks and we never saw her again. 90 minutes went by and nothing. We watched other tables get food, some got dessert. The server looked at us multiple times but never came over to apologize or explain the delay. We left cash to cover our appetizers and walked out after being snubbed and ignored. This is a one and done. Extremely disappointed.

Yelp
After knowing people that had a great experience there, we made a reservation at 630 and were promptly seated. Our order went in right away and our appetizers/drinks came out fast. The waitress was rather curt with us, but we assumed it was a busy night. We put our orders in by 645, and were not checked on again. At 8pm we decided to leave cash on the table to cover the apps and go somewhere else, as there was a 90 minute limit. The waitress, even after making eye contact, never came to check on us or assure us that the food was coming. She did, however, serve other tables and even bring dessert to others. I get that with COVID it is tough on staff but we would have been satisfied with a check in to know that we weren't forgotten about. Disappointed and will not be returning
