Bangkok in Bed-Stuy: A Thai Dining Experience Worth Craving My First Choice for Thai—Whether It’s Date Night, Dinner with Family, a Business Lunch, or Flying Solo! This Thai restaurant is a true gem that brings the vibrant flavors of Bangkok straight to Brooklyn. From the very first bite, it’s clear the kitchen takes pride in balancing bold, authentic flavors with thoughtful presentation. Each dish arrives at the table like a work of art—colorful, aromatic, and impossible not to photograph before digging in. The atmosphere is bright, clean, and welcoming, but it’s the service that really elevates the experience. The staff are warm, attentive, and genuinely friendly, creating the kind of hospitality that makes you feel like a regular on your very first visit. On top of that, there’s never a long wait to be seated or to enjoy your meal, which is rare for a spot with food this consistently excellent. I’ve quickly found myself making excuses to stop by whenever I’m in Bed-Stuy for work, and the hardest part is resisting the temptation to eat here every single time. Yummy, beautifully presented, and refreshingly efficient—this restaurant has become my go-to for Thai cuisine. My go to order is: Wings Ler Lers Crying Tiger Crab Fried Rice

Honestly this is one the BEST Thai restaurants in Brooklyn. The food is very authentic, great flavor, and a really nice rare variety of items. The noodles came with HUGE prawns, soooo yummy. Our waitress Listrel was soooo nice and warm. I’ll be back🥰

The food was fine. Not bad, just underwhelming. Portions were huge, so if you are going with a group, order less than you think you need. Overall, it was decent, but nothing stood out. It was not any better or different from a typical Thai spot in Brooklyn.

I’ve lived in this neighborhood for the past eight years and this is by far one of my favorite Thai restaurants near me! Love that they do monthly specials exclusively at the restaurant so I’m able to try different dishes every time i visit! Definitely will be back frequently!

This place is a hidden gem imo. Service was great. Food was outstanding. We went for the lunch special and the deals were great. Grabbed their wings too which were amazing. Found a new favorite thai spot!

My friend and I visited here for a quick bite and then chose two dishes under the "Thai Comfort Food" section of their menu, which I understand may not be a complete representation of their food, but they were enough for me to get a feel of what their food quality was like. Of course, I would love to return if I have the chance to do so. I ordered the Ka Prao Kai Dao, which was ground chicken stir fried with onions, chili, basil, green beans over rice and topped with a fried egg. There wasn't much flavor beyond the chicken itself, and the chicken seemed to be relying on a sauce for flavor rather than seasoning. I couldn't really taste the basil or the chili. Plus the fried egg was overcooked. My friend ordered the tom yum noodle soup, and didn't comment much on the taste. I had a little bit of it, and decided that it didn't achieve a good balance between sweetness and sourness. It had some light creamy texture but that was about it. There was a lot of pork, which normally wouldn't be a problem for a dish like this. Personally I don't eat pork and couldn't really have the soup because the fatty pork was dominating both the taste and the oily broth, which I didn't like. However, I am fully aware that this is more so a problem that only I have. I just didn't want a tom yum soup to taste like mainly fatty pork. With all that said, the Thai coffee was quite good, with a good amount of sweetness but not overwhelming. I noticed that they had no indoor tables and only countertop areas. My friend and I sat outside and had a good time chatting and dining.

From the moment we walked in, the vibe was warm and welcoming. The staff was super friendly and on point with recommendations. You know the food is good when you’re planning your next visit mid-bite. Prices are solid, portions are generous, and everything tastes fresh and made with love. If you’re into bold flavors, cozy spots, and authentic Thai food that hits all the right notes- this is the place for you! Seriously, 10/10. This place is a win.

Yelp
Came back here again and luckily it was a hot day and A and I got to sit outside. A has never been here before, but A lives very close to here and A picked this place over Peaches because A wasn't impressed with them. A got the Chicken Basil I believe and I ordered the Shrimp Pad Thai. It was yummy and while we were eating, a staff came over and asked if I have eaten at other establishments like Klom Klorm or Forever Thai. I said, yes, I Forever Thai, but it's so far away and it turns out Forever Thai is also part of their restaurant group. The sitdown dining area was still not open, but hopefully you're open up soon, since it's too cold to sit outside and A brings LO that needs a highchair. So sitting at the bar is just not doable. I got to talking to him, and his name escapes me, but he mentioned to me that they're looking to open up another restaurant in Brooklyn. I begged him to think about opening the other side of Bedstuy, since it's untapped there. Stuyvesant Heights has too many - I need some good food near me. Hopefully, they open up one near me, because I would be their best customer.

Yelp
I was happy to see that they finally opened. The sign was up for so long. I was already a fan of their sister restaurant, Klom Klom so I was hoping that they would be just as delicious, it was. They have a great lunch special that goes until 4pm. For $13.95 you get an entree, thai salad (peanut dressing) and spring rolls. I opted to get the basil fried rice which came with onions, bell peppers, egg, carrot, cilantro, fresh chili and basil leaves. So good! enough for leftovers. The food came out fast. Portion size was perfect. Everything was made fresh. Right now they just have out door seating and limited seating inside. They do have a backroom that will hopefully open soon. Definitely worth visiting again. A solid choice

Yelp
Ordered takeout. The chicken pad Thai and spring rolls were delicious! They arrived quickly and piping hot. Will order from here again.

Yelp
After years of waiting, Ler Lers has finally made it's debut on Tompkins Avenue. Boasting inspiration from the street food scene of Bangkok, this Thai spot is sure to be popular in the neighborhood. At the present, Ler Lers offers most of its seating outdoors as they await the opening of their main dining area. There's also bar seating available inside. The staff is very friendly and eager for customers to experience the menu. On my first visit, I ordered the Khao Pad Ka Prao with crispy pork. There was a bit of a wait so I was given a complimentary order of the Kai Nok wonton, which is hard boiled quail egg wrapped in a wonton with ground chicken and fried. It's a unique dish and the first time I'd ever tried quail egg. The Ka Prao, a rice dish with veggies and basil, was tasty. The crispy pork belly was definitely the star of the show. I returned with friends and ordered kanom jeeb dumplings to share and the Ka Prao Kai Dao with ground pork as an entree. The ground pork dumplings are served with a sweet and savory sauce that we couldn't get enough of. The Kai Dao was excellent. I loved the spiciness of the rice dish and the ground pork was very flavorful. I can see this being something I order regularly. They offer a lunch special that I'm very excited to go try. The curries have caught my eye, as well as an entree that's a whole fried fish. The prices are about what you'd expect for this area. Definitely recommend checking them out.

Yelp
Ler Ler is a small Thai restaurant. It is just bar seating. When my friend and I walked in we had to wait about 10 minutes to be seated. Once seated we were able to order pretty quickly. Also the food came out quickly as well. The food was so food. Restaurant decor is nice. I was very satisfied and will recommend.

Yelp
This might be my new favorite Thai place in town. They don't have a reservation system yet, so we walked up on a Friday evening and were able to get a table in less than 30mins. The restaurant is tiny with only counter seating and a bunch of tables outside but beautifully done. I had the Pad See Ew with Tofu and loved it. The noodles were perfectly chewy. My husband had the Thai fried rice with chicken and loved it, too. The grand finale was the Mango Sticky Rice which was absolute perfection. Can't wait to be back!

Yelp
My experience at this new Thai restaurant Ler Lers, is nothing short of amazing! I live right across the street, so I got the privilege of trying it out right when it opened. I love Thai food, and I can confidently say this is one of my favorite spots. The food was authentic, and the customer service was great. They are currently working on the seating indoors, however, I've been able to sit outdoors and indoors as I've been here three times thus far and the ambience is amazing the space is cozy. I highly recommend trying their pad Thai lunch special as well as the Thai iced tea.

Yelp
The food is fantastic! The people are wonderful! The wine is cool! And they are very good at catering to a gluten free diet! Easily five stars, if not more.

Yelp
We live on the block and this place has consistently been 10/10. Either takeaway or dining there, amazing experience each time!! They can get really busy, so good to arrive a little early.

Yelp
Never a bad option. Great for a sit down meal and conversation at the restaurant or take home and put your feet up to enjoy

Yelp
Delicious authentic Thai food! Fresh bright flavors with and excellent assortment of sauces. Attentive staff who were so nice, bar seating only as well as outdoor dining until city approval for more indoor dining space comes in . . All 5 of us were happy!

Yelp
Stopped in during a block party to order a drink to get access to the bathroom (LOL). Asked someone at the bar about the food, and he said he'd been there 4 times in the last few weeks. So, of course after the event was over, my friends and I decided to give the food a try. Given the crowd, there was a waitlist for a table, but we didn't mind the wait. Once seated, our server, although busy (she was clearing another table), made it a point to let us know she'd be right with us. Once she came back, the service she (and the rest of the staff) provided great service! Food came out pretty quickly and we as very tasty. We all agreed we would be back!

Yelp
Food was 10/10 would recommend. Service was great nothing over the top. We sat outside because COVID is still real.

Yelp
Waited for this place to open for a long time! Ordered take out as I live down the street, and we were not disappointed. Happy to have it on tompkins!! We had the pad thai, pad kee mai, and spring rolls. exited to try more from this place!

Yelp
The food was okay. The wontons were really good in the wonton soup, however the broth was a bit too sweet for my liking. Also the wings were inedible way too spicy and seemed like it contained tons of fish sauce I wasn't a fan of the smell either. I think if I eat here again ill try something else.

Yelp
It's ok. About 3 decades ago, there was a Thai restaurant in Park Slop(closed years ago). That restaurant was the first Thai food for me, very flavorful, get to the point , authentic, clean taste and sadly it's hard to find true authentic food these days. Everything is too sweet in any restaurants these days. Duck in curry soup with noodles(very Soggy) - I tried today and am not very impressed. It's just Sweet!

Yelp
Great food! And service I've eaten in twice as well and it was really such a lovely addition to the neighborhood

Yelp
Everything was delicious. Even our picky kids loved it. Look forward to the back area opening.

Yelp
The best Thai food in all of NYC, hands down. Wonderful vegetarian and mese dishes, great prices, warm and friendly staff.
