Leroy offers a casual yet sophisticated vibe, where you can share modern bistro dishes and savor delightful wine pairings in an intimate setting.
"Sometimes it’s hard to imagine a place with any kind of relative serenity in Shoreditch. But through all the bustle, ball pits, and streams of beer, there’s Leroy. This wine bar is a great spot when you’re in the area but also looking to escape the area. It’s very easy to get comfortable, thanks to the room, the wine, and the steady amount of tasty little European-leaning plates you can pick on." - heidi lauth beasley, jake missing, daisy meager
"Shoreditch wine bar and restaurant Leroy have launched Royale, a rotisserie chicken delivery service. You can get half a chicken, a full chicken, potatoes, dips, wine, and salad. And you can also get whipped cod’s roe with crudité. Just because. Order here." - heidi lauth beasley, jake missing, rianne shlebak
"A full bin is not great in hot weather. Nor is Shoreditch. Unless you’re in Leroy, that is. This European-leaning restaurant and wine bar is the place to be when the sun is shining, but you’d rather it shine on your glass of wine or your veal tartare on toast, rather than your face. It gets pretty buzzy here day or night, so you might need to call ahead to see if there’s a table or a spot at the bar to pitch up at. Once you do, you’ll find yourself here for a while." - jake missing, sinead cranna, rianne shlebak
"Leroy has moved some letters about in its name (and yes, added one more) to launch Royale, a new rotisserie chicken delivery service. Half a juicy chicken, seasoned with their own blend of herbs and spices, will set you back £12. Or a whole bird with potatoes and salad to share is £38. There’s a cod’s roe side and dips like roast chicken aioli too." - oliver feldman, heidi lauth beasley, jake missing, rianne shlebak
"Two, or three courses: £22/£26 There’s no lack of restaurant options in Shoreditch, but Leroy is up there with the best. The low-key wine bar and European restaurant offers a changing set menu during the week with dishes like asparagus, courgette, and parmesan risotto, or a crunchy plate of baby turnips with whipped goats’ curd. Paired with a glass of something similarly chilled and crunchy, it’s the kind of restaurant and set menu that says “log off early for the afternoon” to us." - jake missing, sinead cranna, rianne shlebak
