First off the ladies working are such a vibe!! Second thing is the bagels are the perfect amount of crispy on the outside but so soft and chewy on the inside. I love about 30 mins away but will be for sure making the drive for another garden bagel!!

Google
Leroy’s Bagels in Sloan’s Lake has quickly become my go-to spot for a satisfying breakfast or lunch. Their bagels are boiled and baked on-site daily, offering 16 flavors, including creative options like spinach asiago and jalapeño cheddar, as well as gluten-free choices. The bagel and cream cheese combos are perfection, and the staff is always friendly and welcoming. The shop’s cozy atmosphere, coupled with the convenience of a neighboring coffee shop, makes it an ideal spot to relax or catch up with friends. Whether I’m in the mood for a classic bagel with cream cheese or a hearty sandwich, Leroy’s never disappoints. Just be prepared for a line during peak hours—it’s a testament to their popularity and well worth the wait.

Google
Great bagel at a great price which is hard to find in Denver. I always feel like the bagel places in Denver overcharge but not here. By far the best value for your money out of any bagel place I've tried in Denver. Anyways, all in all, great bagel and nice staff -from a New Yorker 😂 P.S. Don't park in the parking lot next door. And if you do don't leave them a 1 star review if you get booted. Leroy's has multiple warning signs about it, which is above and beyond what they need do since there's signs in the parking lot. Accept accountability for your actions and move on.

Google
Any negative reviews for this place are insane. This is a great spot! Awesome sandwiches for a fair price, the staff could not be more friendly or efficient. Get one of the M&M cookies at the register! They are massive and amazing. Lox sandwich for <$10 is a steal.

Google
I came from Fargo, ND and this was the best bagels I’ve ever had. I would highly recommend their lox bagel! Great staff and great environment. My biggest regret is not engaging with the pay it forward sign on their wall. It was such a great idea! Overall I highly recommend:)

Evelyn C.

Google
Great bagels, drinks, and service. Special shout out to Eli and Brianna who made my first visit enjoyable!

Google
Solid 4.5 stars. I'm a sucker for a NY style bagel and needed an alternative to NY Bagels (Wads/Yale) for when I'm heading North of the Sloan's Lake area. This place is pretty similar and that's a good thing. We ordered a couple of breakfast sandwiches (sausage egg cheese) and it hit the spot. The staff was really nice. They were about to close and offered us a couple of cinnamon bagels for free (leftovers). We naturally accepted so we could sample another treat from Leroy's (they were sticky good!). Prices are decent. Will be back.

Dieter U.

Google
The bagel was good for a Colorado bagel! Plenty of cream cheese. Wish the everything had salt but can’t win them all. The other reviews about slow lines are accurate. Only 2 people in front of me in line and still took a decent amount of time to be served. I planned on chilling and eating so it wasn’t a problem for me personally. However, I feel like bagel shops are supposed to be a quick in and out for the custoner, this wouldn’t be that spot.

Yelp
A small neighborhood bagel shop. They have more than a dozen flavors and the consistency can be hit or miss. Just looking in the display case, you see bagels that are well browned and some that aren't close to getting any color. There is usually a line out the door, but it seems to be more of an issue with how small their prep area is, being backed up with online orders and overall disorganization? On numerous visits, the display case will be half empty and the speed rack is right behind the register, waiting for the bagels to cool and put into the display case. What this place does well on is value. Yes there are other bagel shops, Yes some of those places have better bagels, but factoring in the price, are those other bagels 40%-70% better than Leroy's? They are not. If you're in the neighborhood, it is a cute neighborhood and local shop to get reasonably priced bagels and bagel sandwiches. Go early to avoid the wait or place an online order ahead of time

Yelp
Waited 25 minutes for 3 bagels. No apology or even an update, just attitude when I asked politely for an update. I asked to cancel then the order magically appeared. A simple apology or heads up it would take that long would have prevented such a terrible first time experience.

Yelp
*CELIAC / GLUTEN FREE REVIEW went to their new location and it was great! They use a dedicated knife and toaster, and place a piece of paper down for preparation. They also had THREE different flavor options for bagels and rotate them daily. All cream cheeses are GF. I got a caprese with tomato & basil cream cheese on a GF garlic bagel. SO yummy. Definitely a denser / chewier bagel build than what you traditionally think of, but still good. I did not get sick and really enjoyed my bagel:)
google avatar

JaneAnne F.

Yelp
Such a nice bagel store! Cute shop, great service and outstanding bagels. I am always happy to find a place out of town that makes good gluten free bagels and their veggie cream cheese was delicious too! My husband had a gf everything bagel with sausage, egg and cheese. My DIL had an Asiago bagel with jalapeño cream cheese. We walked up from our daughter in law and son's house....they even had treats for their dog! ***Please remember DO NOT park in Conu's parking lot... we saw 2 cars with boots on them this morning.
google avatar

Noah K.

Yelp
Leroy's BANGS! Gotta be my favorite for a bagel sandwich in the Denver area. Everything is fresh - of course the bagels are, but the veg and spreads are always crisp and feel like they were made that morning. Be prepared to wait Because it's a neighborhood favorite but the staff is efficient! The bacon veggie is my favorite, jalepenos bagel and jalepeno cream cheese. Chefs kiss
google avatar

Yvonne J.

Yelp
We really enjoyed our breakfast sandwiches from Leroy's. We had the sausage, egg, and cheese and the bacon, egg, and cheese. Check out the everything on this everything bagel. I've never seen so much flavor packed onto a bagel and I'm a fan. The bagel had that great bagel chew too. I was hoping for more from the egg and sausage though. Definitely not a bad sandwich by any means, but the egg was kinda just there with little flavor and the sausage ratio to sandwich was a little low. The staff were so friendly that even though our interaction was brief, it was extremely pleasant. We'll definitely be back Leroy's!

Jordan M.

Yelp
The ambiance of the place is swell. Food takes some time depending on the time of day, but always worth it! The workers were kind and generous!

Cameron S.

Yelp
Just got a bagel to go and it's got 3 inches thick of cream cheese. Wtf? No one wants this.
google avatar

Jane R.

Yelp
Leroy's is such a great neighborhood spot near Sloans Lake for bagels and coffee. I was fortunate to go several times while living in the area and loved having a bagel sandwich (either with an egg-based option or a classic lox combo) or simple bagel and cream cheese to start my day off on a great note. I personally particularly love the jalapeño cheddar bagel which comes with a nice layer of cheddar for a good crunch when toasted paired with the spice and value of jalapeños in the bagel itself. One thing to note is that service can be really slow here. I think that might be a product of wanting to have ingredients freshly made, but I often find that a line of a few people ends up being over a 15-20min wait, sometimes seeing gaps in time when nothing seems to be really going on in their kitchen for prep. I would say that Leroy's is still worth a visit- just expect a bit of a wait, especially on a weekend morning
google avatar

Aundya A.

Yelp
Enjoyed my sesame seed bagel sandwich with egg, Swiss cheese, and bacon. It was very tasty, although I wish the bacon was crispier.
google avatar

Savannah K.

Yelp
Leroys is very average. It is cheaper than other bagel places in town but the quality of bagel is also not as good. There are a good variety of bagel and cream cheese flavors. A few places to sit inside and outside but not huge. You can order ahead to save yourself some time but they do make the bagels pretty quickly.
google avatar

Julia D.

Yelp
I'd skip out on the coffee here but the bagels are amazing!! Ever since trying their jalapeño cheddar bagel, I can't have a breakfast sandwich any other way. We got the poco loco and I would certainly recommend. Workers were nice and food came out pretty quickly. Looking forward to trying out more of their sandwich's!
google avatar

Linna L.

Yelp
I LOVE THIS BAGEL PLACE. This is where I take anyone who comes to visit me in Colorado. The bagels and cream cheese combos are perfection. It's always a line but definitely worth. Next door is a cool coffee shop too. It's a small space. I recommend ordering online. The service is quick and fast though.

Lauren D.

Yelp
Ooooo this place was good!! The tomato basil cream cheese was quite nice, however the bagel was a tinge dry. Overall we really enjoyed it! Staff was very friendly
google avatar

Meera S.

Yelp
As we continued the theme of trying bagel shops while visiting Denver for the weekend, we stopped by Leroy's for a brekkie sandwich. When we arrived, the line wasn't too long but started getting lengthy soon thereafter. We shared a bagel sandwich with avo, tomato, bacon, alfa alfa sprouts, and cucumber on an asiago cheese bagel. The bagel itself was delicious!! A little chewy, a little soft, a little crispy - all of the good things. The toppings inside were the perfect glue that brought the sandwich together. We enjoyed our bagel inside on their bar seating that faces the window (ideal for people watching). They have limited seating inside. Totally understand why Leroy's is considered one of the more popular bagel joints in Denver.
google avatar

Michelle G.

Yelp
Cashier touching all the bagels with one glove on. She rings customers out. Then shifts to cutting bagels with the same glove on. Moving bagels to and from the toaster with the hand with no glove. Makes no sense. Put on new gloves and wash your hands.
google avatar

Ashley T.

Yelp
I do not know how i haven't been to Leroy's before! I stopped by for breakfast this morning and everything was delicious! I got an asiago bagel with cream cheese - it was great! They give you a lot of cream cheese :) My friend got a bagel sandwich, which she also said was great. The staff is super nice and friendly. Great prices for everything, definitely on the cheaper side for Denver! They have a wide menu, with lots of bagel and cream cheese options. There are also vegan options available as well! There are a few seats available indoors and during the summer, there is a patio outside that you can sit in. There isn't a whole lot of parking available, just some street. Be aware that you may have to wait in line for a little bit. There is also an option to pre-order online! Overall, 10/10, will be back!

Yelp
I've been hearing about Leroy's for a while but it's across town for us so we just finally got to trying it and...I gotta admit everyone is right. These are the best bagels in Denver The slight crunch on the outside, the flavor, and the perfect amount of chew on the inside...just wow, maybe even the best bagel I've ever had The cashiers are SO NICE and they get everything out fast. I will definitely be back (even with the 30 min drive) for my new found obsession...the rosemary bagel

Yelp
Came here after a morning workout at Sloan Lake right down the street. I found parking in front of the building. Super long line that moved pretty slowly, but in my mind that means it's pretty good. Plus, I believe the specialty are the bagel sandwiches. It's a very small location so the line wrapped around all the indoor seats. Each bagel took around 8 - 10 minutes. I honestly didn't want to wait so I decided to grab a half a dozen bagels, side of creme cheese to take home. It all cost $15 dollar which was a pretty good deal and the bagels were delicious. I did take off a star because after waiting 30 minutes I didn't want to wait an additional ten for a sandwich. However, I plan on coming back hopefully when it's not so busy to give it a try. Also, the paper bag they gave me had a huge rip in it and when I grab it my bagels almost fell out. (Not to be dramatic but if I would have lost a bagel it would have been my 13th reason lol) Definitely plan on coming back and giving the bagel sandwich a try! Overall, 4/5 stars!
google avatar

Yelp
I don't remember the last time I've been able to get a gluten free bagel on the road- so thankful this place exists! Everyone deserves a road trip bagel

Yelp
Breakfast of champions! Craving for bagels and schmear, we decided to try out Leroy's. Love the vibe around this neighborhood and they are definitely dog friendly! The place is small but quaint, and hospitable. I was in luck because blueberry just came out of the oven! We waited for a hot minute for our bagels and enjoyed it while we were there. Quite a lot of people were rolling in and out. Our bagels were delicious, however it was schmear overboard. It was like a tub of cream cheese on my bagel! Who eats that much? I guess it's better to have more than less, but it was way too much for us. The blueberry bagel was yummy, but I find it a bit small? Thin? I'd wish I had more bagels than the schmear. Nonetheless, it hit the spot.

Yelp
Cute lil bagel shop with indoor and outdoor seating. This area off Tennyson is just a bright spot. Right next to a bike shop, coffee shop and brewery you can't go wrong. Now there are a few ways to order online or in person. I just walked up to the counter and was greeted by some great ladies. I chose the lox sandwich on a salt bagel with the cucumber dill cream cheese. Omgoodness delish! The cream cheese a bright burst with the lox. Wowza I dancing a bit as I was chewing. I had to prevent myself from eating my partners half lol! Great bagels, good portions and delish flavor. Will be back to the more.
google avatar

Yun C.

Yelp
Cute place with nice service and yummy bagels. Staff are kind and efficient, and the store itself has a nice ambiance.

Yelp
I've been hesitant to write this review because if it gets any busier i may cry but Leroy's, you have my heart. Bacon & Veggie on an Asiago, sub Veggie cream cheese. Get it. Eat it. Love it. Repeat. She's perfect. My partner is allergic to wheat & egg, and as you can imagine breakfast is tough. Leroy's offers gluten free bagels AND vegan egg! The online ordering is a breeze too. I like to pick up a half dozen and store em in the freezer. They toast back up great straight from frozen! The jalapeno cheddar, salt, and everything, are also amazing. The staff is so freakin sweet every single time we stop in. We love you Leroy's!!!!!!!! Disclaimer, it gets busy! Like packed to the brim, busy. Order online or go early!!!!

Ryan D.

Yelp
The bagels are incredible - as well as the many flavors of cream cheese. However, the service is terrible. The people working there have less than no urgency and it ruins much of the experience. They've recently repainted and 'spruced up' though it resembles a mental institution now with its terrible monochrome lime green walls.

Daniella V.

Yelp
Bagels are decent but ever since they opened up same day ordering, the service has absolutely tanked. They were clearly prioritizing orders made online instead of patrons waiting in line. Not to mention the staff was pretty rude. After waiting 25 minutes for TWO bagels, I was met with my bag being tossed on the counter and not even an apology for the delay. Sadly won't ever go back to Leroy's. There's far better spots with much less of a wait time and kinder service.

Yelp
Food: 50/50 Service: 25/25 Ambience: 25/25 Total: 100/100 Proud to give this spot 5 stars. As a NYC native we pride ourselves on having the best bagels. Since moving to Denver it has been a struggle without bagels for breakfast, until we discovered Leroy's Bagels! The bagels are soft, chewy and freshly made. Alas, breakfast has been rescued!!! Highly recommend their everything bagel toasted with veggie cream cheese. Also, love their garden sandwich on an everything bagel. Pricing is a bit high but in a post covid world with inflation it seems like the new normal. The shop also offers coffee and has cute merch for sale! A unique find at Leroys is their "pay it forward" wall where people can take a pre paid item as applicable to them. Staff is nice! Last but not least, they have a punch card :) Love love love any establishment with a punch card :) Pro-tip: order the night before as this place get packed with the line out the door, down the block!
google avatar

Amelia S.

Yelp
Leroy's has a wide selection of freshly made bagels and is awesome for a big breakfast! I think the bagels are good for Denver, but not the best bagels I've ever had. Nonetheless, you can choose your favorite type of bagel for your bagel sandwich which makes for a tasty sandwich every time. My go-to is a bacon & veggie on an everything bagel for a satisfying weekend breakfast. Note that when the weather is nice, the weekend lines will be very long and you can expect to wait ~25/30 minutes.
google avatar

Robbie R.

Yelp
Did a takeout order for a company breakfast and what an amazing experience. The online ordering process (even for bulk bagels and cream cheese) was extremely smooth and easy. The shop is extremely cute with some seating but an amazing vibe. Staff is EXTREMELY friendly and you can tell they care about what they do. This is why we keep things local. For the bagels, great combo of chew and bite and load of flavor. So many different options and can't wait to go back to try more. Well done, Leroy's! We need more places like you....
google avatar

Macy M.

Yelp
Someone these reviews are so very "New York", but we are in Denver, y'all!! Obviously nothing can compare to a New York bagel, so if you're that concerned you're free to hop on a flight to get your fix. I LOVE this place and I love even more that it's a locally owned spot. Call You Mother is great, but not local to Denver. Leroy's bagels have yet to miss for me and the staff is fantastic. Every morning that I walk in I am greeted by the most cheerful people you've seen for 6am! Shout out to the staff, y'all are great. But the bagels, they are sooooooo good! Many different options and very reasonably priced! Keep doing your thang, Leroy & crew. I love you.
google avatar

Brianna C.

Yelp
Best bagel spot I've been to. We seriously love this joint I got the rosemary bagel with egg and bacon and it was delicious I could have easily eaten 2. The bagels were so perfect melted in my mouth. My daughter got a plain bagel with egg and cheese and loved it as well. My husband got the Cuban bagel and said it was amazing. 5/5 will be back
google avatar

Megan B.

Yelp
Best bagels in Denver. Highly recommend. Prepare for a long line (a sign of a good bagel place)
google avatar

Killsey J.

Yelp
As a bagel lover, this place is great! Also grab a bag of bagel chips! Friendly staff and of course, good bagels!
google avatar

Alexa N.

Yelp
If you are looking for a good bagel in Denver Leroy's is the place to go! Leroy's is located near the Sloan's Lake neighborhood. It is a cute little shop with limited seating inside and outside. It is open daily but can get busy on the weekends so I would suggest calling your order in and picking it up. There are a variety of bagel sandwiches you can choose from or you can build your own sandwich. My favorite sandwich is their caprese which has prosciutto, tomato basil, balsamic and plain cream cheese! When I'm not feeling a sandwich I love their rosemary bagel with veggie cream cheese. They also have gluten free options for those who have food allergies.
google avatar

Jackie L.

Yelp
Awesome selection of bagels, toppings, and sandwiches! Fresh veg, generous portion of cream cheese, and bacon on a soft, toasty everything made my day! Had a friend in town who loved her cucumber cream cheese (forgot bagel flavor but she loved that too!) Thought Leroy's was coming to uptown so I'd been holding out. Glad we made the quick drive! Line had about 10 people in it when got there, we stood outside so I was nervous on how long that might take but we were in and out in 20 minutes. Worth the trip and time. Cute, friendly shop and a great value! So what's up with that Uptown location?
google avatar

Venie N.

Yelp
I came here on Sunday morning at 8am and there was a line out the door!! The service was really fast and I was inside by no time. The staff was very friendly and there was a good variety of things for everyone on the menu. They even have vegan cream cheese and a vegan breakfast sandwich which I loved to see! I got the Garden sandwich on the Asiago bagel and it was 10/10! It was one of the best bagel sandwiches I've had. A delicious option for vegetarians! If you're visiting Colorado make sure to stop by for some delicious bagels.
google avatar

Gina K.

Yelp
Came here on a Sunday morning because we had a gift card who we got from friends. It was a great way to start off the day but the line was out the door and it took a very long time to get our food. That seems to be the norm here, from what I understand. Although, my husband who is from the a east coast said it was the best bagel sandwich we have had in Denver. I got the veggie and bacon and it was delicious but I would add avocado to it next time. Since the brewery next door wasn't open were along with many others used the picnic tables to consume our delicious breakfast. We will be back!
google avatar

Mattie L.

Yelp
Today was free bagels with hot chocolate or coffee. Free every Monday. Very good. Plenty of people coming in to sit and socialize. Very friendly people. Wonderful customer service! Ten stars.
google avatar

Jim M.

Yelp
Solid breakfast with top tier bagels. Good place to go to get some work done too. Super friendly staff. 22/30
google avatar

Alyssa D.

Yelp
Best bagels in Denver!! Always my go to spot. Bagels are always chewy and fresh and the cream cheese portion is always generous. The salmon spread cream cheese is a must try.

Savanna B.

Yelp
I've tried bagels from Leroy's a few times- at friends' houses for brunch and at The Radiator, but last week was the my first actual visit to their store. Since I'd heard that their lines can be quite long I ordered online ahead. It was very easy to find the store and while there was only street parking (the opposite side of the street from Leroy's is all No Parking) it wasn't too bad. There was a bit of a line when I got there and since there didn't appear to be a designated "Pick Up" spot I got in line, although I had been trying to avoid this by ordering ahead of time. As I waited, I realized that other people were sidling up to the register and asking for their pick up orders from the cashier and she was getting them while also working the line (props to her- that can't be easy). I left my place in line and followed suit. I can't say that doing so hot me out of there any faster, but at least I know next time what to do. The bagels were excellent and the cream cheese tasted fresh. I'll definitely be back.
google avatar

Richard H.

Yelp
Great bagel shop. Kinda tastes like the New York City bagels. Very happy with this place.
google avatar

Katie H.

Yelp
The bagels are fine, however after waiting 45 minutes with an online order that said 10 minutes, I will not be back. Disappointed I can't support this local shop anymore.
google avatar

Jarred F.

Yelp
The bagels are solid, the cream cheese fluffy delish, the atmosphere great. Good coffee, nice staff, fortunate to have them in the neighborhood. Would be fun to see some locally smoked fish enter into the fray.

Matt G.

Yelp
I'm from NY & this is the best affordable toasted bagel in town under $5! Made fresh every morning, the cream cheese selection rocks! Quick service too! They even have a gluten free bagel that's to die for!!
google avatar

Sarah S.

Yelp
Woke up craving a bagel, consulted my Yelp app, and then headed down to Leroy's. Not so sure why their ratings are so low because I had a great experience. I will say that since this is a popular spot, the wait can be a bit depending on when you arrive. We got there around 8:45 and there was about 6 people in line and about another 5 people waiting for food. We knew it was going to be a bit, but we were ok with it. We were also more comfortable waiting inside since masks were required and people were mainly there to get food to go. Leroy's has a great selection of bagels, a few different types of cream cheese, and a good amount of breakfast sandwiches. I ordered the bacon veggie on an everything bagel, and it did not disappoint. The bagel had lots of seeds, was toasted well, the veggies were fresh, and I got a decent portion of bacon. Definitely interested in coming back to try some of the other sandwiches and to order some bagels with a bunch of cream cheese. Great breakfast spot - just be prepared for a wait on weekends.
google avatar

Jerry C.

Yelp
NY Bagel snoo here and I love Leroy's! Delicious bagels boiled and baked as they should be. Service was amazing and pretty quick. Intimate space to dine in with seating outside for the warmer weather!

Megan R.

Yelp
Leroy's is one of our favorite spots to get bagels in Denver! Unfortunately we have been disappointed in our last few orders. To pay an additional $1.25 to add cream cheese to our breakfast sandwiches to barely have any cream cheese at all is really disappointing. I will be checking portions next time before leaving!

Jackson H.

Yelp
First of all born and raised in colorado and i love this shop. They know me very well as i have been going for years. And they always obliged with my weird bagel sandwiches i want. The staff is great and fantastic, some reviews say "it looks like the employees arnt happy" but ive never personally experienced that. So i guess you will have to try it and see. P.S. if you dont want to wait in the longest bagel lines ever dont go on a sat and sun. (The 1 star reviews are hilarious, all east coast people imagine that.)
