The kitchen is not clean. They really need to improve the cleanliness. Look at the towel, do the workers not wash their hands properly if the towel is so dirty? I wouldn’t dare to eat a salad here, only cooked food.
Regarding the food, first I tried a simple dish, and it was nothing special: a burnt egg and a lot of oil. However, it was cheap, just 100 baht including Thai tea.
1. Glass noodles with shrimp was pretty good but too oily (200 baht). Shrimp was not peeled which is ridiculous, I don’t like eating them with a bowel.
2. The sea bass with lime and chili was tasty, but the portion was small (250 bath). It was half a fish. The sauce was good, but it was too much of it, the fish was floating in it.
3. Tom yum with three mushrooms was fine, I’m not a fan of Tom Yum, so hard to say.
4. Crab fried in yellow curry powder (400 baht) was extremely salty, almost inedible. Moreover, I had to eat it without rice because they brought overcooked mushy rice.
I still don’t dare to eat uncooked food there like salad because of food poisoning complaints.
That’s true that waiters don’t smile, but they just seem to be tired or maybe not comfortable, we don’t know what the work environment they have, so I wouldn’t judge them. They are not rude for sure, just not smiley.
