Above and beyond experience. Waiters were top notch and so was the food.

Good dining option in the heart of Rimouski This place is obviously very popular at lunch time. We came on a Thursday and it was packed already. The food was really good and hearty, huge portions, and good beers! I do wish that there would be more selections on the menu, particularly seafood. Staff was bilingual and very friendly. Recommend!

At first, the place doesn’t look like much, and the menu is super small, but the food is seriously good. That said, the service was really slow. We waited almost an hour for our meals, and then another half hour just to get the bill, even though there were people waiting to be seated. If you’re not in a rush, it’s worth it for the food, but don’t go expecting quick service.

Passing by the city, we stopped in Les Affamés for lunch. Turn out to be an excellent decision. What a pleasant surprise! Extremely recomendable. Next time we are around, we will definitely pay a visit.

The best meal I have had in Eastern Canada. Unpretentious place. Wasn't sure i was at a Michelin star restaurant when I saw paper napkins on table and the bread was served with commercially packaged butter. But when the food started coming I knew it was deserving. The scallop appetizer was to die for. It was crisp, refreshing, leading you to want more. I had the hanger /flank steak which was cooked to perfection and served with amazing side veg and a beautiful creamy flavorful sauce. Wife had tuna steak over salad of available, tomatoes and orzo. Super amazing. See my pics. Worth the 6 hour drive.as nothing like it in Moncton or area.

Incredible food and atmosphere. We had the tuna tataki, tetes de violin (fern sprouts), salmon gravlax and the steak. It was all very tasty. Thank you for a wonderful dinner!

This place deserves to be top rated! Stuffed pasta to start was very good And my wife gnocchi was delightful. The place is busy so you are probably best to reserve. Service was top notch as well

On our last evening of trip to Quebec we had our best meal in this restaurant that's entirely run by women with lots of dishes created with native vegetables. The food is Michelin quality and we tried salicorne (which taste like al dente pea vine) and tête de violon (fiddlehead is the English name and it tastes similar to asparagus) . Didn't get a chance to take a picture of my fiddlehead appetizer since I devoured it immediately! I tried to use Google Translate to understand the menu but the friendly waitress was more than happy to explain it to me in English. Another bonus - it's a family friendly restaurant and although they don't have a kids menu (let's be honest, they are usually bad anyway). They offer half portion for the kids which works out better anyway!

Fantastic restaurant with great atmosphere and a wonderful menu. There are about four pages of wines to choose from. They were very accommodating and let us sit at the bar on a very crowded Friday evening. You could watch the chef and two sous chefs prepare all the meals. They had a very interesting menu although we were tired and it was late and we just got a hamburger and they very graciously made up a green salad for my wife. The hamburger was one of the best I've ever had. It had bacon and onion rings on it with a wonderful sauce and came with a salad and, of course, french fries. My wife had a great green salad. At the bar you can watch them prepare all the meals. If you're American and a bit squeamish you may not like the fact that they seem to mix all the ingredients without gloves are washing their hands. You had the sense that they were very proud of the food they were serving. We were staying in a hotel around the corner which was a bit creepy and this was a wonderful respite. There seem to be a lot of restaurants in this area but not a lot with great reviews. This is definitely worth stopping in for a great meal.
