"Ready to surprise and disconcert your tastebuds? Then head to this smart little bistro in the capable hands of Samuel Victori (former second chef of Passage 53). The chef devotes himself body and soul to devising flawlessly cooked and subtly seasoned dishes, rich in texture, whose intricacies he adores explaining to diners. He works solely with local suppliers, creating unusual, vibrant, even witty recipes that disrupt and whose names tickle our curiosity. A standout: “What the sea gave us” - a sublime fillet of poached seabass, whose delicate pearlescent flesh is flanked with kochihikari rice, wafer-thin slices of raw turnip and slivers of seaweed, all of which is paired with a beurre blanc made with dried bonito-flavoured dashi stock… A masterpiece of subtlety! The vibe is lively and buzzy and the soundtrack suitably trendy, without forgetting slick, seamless service, occasionally courtesy of the enthusiastic chef himself." - Michelin Inspector

We tried the restaurant for the first and ordered the 4 course menu with a beautiful Chablis. Food style is different, all ingredients local and superb quality. Service is as it should be in a Michelin star. restaurant, also very informal. Overall we liked it very much and will come back.

We had a wonderful experience at LES AGITATEURS! We were lucky enough to get the cellar table and it provided a wonderful atmosphere! The food was beautiful and delicious! We were amazed with the quality and quantity of food for the cost. Louis provided our service and he was exquisite; very knowledgeable, professional and delightful! A must when in Nice. We will be back!

A somewhat disappointing visit. We opted for the tasting menu with wine pairings. The wines were served long before the dishes arrived. For one of the dishes we waited about 10 minutes after the wine had been poured (the wine was only a half of the usual amount) and had already changed temperature by the time the dish was served. Moreover, the last “wine” in the pairing turned out to be coffee with bourbon (!) – IMHO a misunderstanding. We had ordered a dinner with wines, yet we had no choice and ended up sipping coffee with one of the courses… Most of the dishes were excellently prepared, surprising and creative. Nevertheless, there were also slip‑ups. For a long time we were left at the table with dry bread. It felt as if it were a separate dish. The bread itself was tasty, but it didn’t fit the menu at all (no sauces or oil to accompany it during the meal). The service time was also quite long. The four‑course dinner took us 2.5 hours. I also don’t understand why an Italian wine appeared in the pairing… there was no comment or justification, just a reference to the wine’s intriguing label. The chef came out to greet the guests and say a few words about the dishes, but only at one table, apparently where friends were seated – a major faux pas. Dessert – an intriguing presentation concept, but the taste was average. The cookie given to us as a farewell gift was dry and overly sweet – certainly not a Michelin star standard.

One of the best dinners that I’ve had in my life. I accidently thought that I had a reservation when in actuality I was put on a waitlist. Despite that, the staff still found me a spot to enjoy my meal and didn’t reject my patronage. I had the 9 course menu which were filled with delectable japanese inspired french fusion dishes. All of them were very good, but I especially loved the finger foods, Langoustine tortellini, Tokyo - Nice and the Pistachio dessert (one of the best desserts I’ve had in my life). The dishes offered a balance of savory, rich dishes with acidic and fresh dishes in between to cut the richness. The textural contrast for all of them were also done beautifully. Only real problem I had was that the 9 item course was very filling (rare problem to have in fine dining). I definitely would recommend the 6 item course for people who can’t eat too much. Either way, it was a wonderful experience with delicious food and an amazing team of staff. I’ll definitely be returning in the future, to taste more of what the team at Les Agitateurs has to offer.

Google
I choose this restaurant very carefully, after looking through a lot of Michelin 1 star restaurants in Nice. It end up being a really good meal, well deserved the price (9 course for €165 per person) From start to finish, every dish was a creative expression of flavor, texture, and seasonality. Each plate was beautifully presented and thoughtfully composed, making this one of the most refined meals I’ve had in France. One thing I want to share, just my personal option, is that I went to a lot of other tasting menu, I can see others using fancy ingredients to make the price worthy, but here, I didn’t see it. I can tell the chef uses seasonal super fresh vegetables and fruit, and the dishes are well balanced. Also, they are very creative. We also ordered wine pair and end up having €450 in total The opening snacks were already impressive — vibrant crudités with a rich, creamy anchovy dip, paired with rosemary-scented bread and a deeply caramelized onion topping. The second snack is shredded lamb with sesame mayo, lavender radish and fried potato. The potato is so creative. The inside is black! Tastes super good. The Azur Bouquet (langoustine with consommé vinaigrette and fig leaf ice) was a highlight. The sauce is really tasty. The fig leaf sorbet is so refreshing. The Japanese-inspired course (Tokyo – Nice Lost in Translation) was poetic: fish, dashi, radish, and seaweed, all presented in delicate balance — subtle and deeply satisfying. The rabbit and foie gras in Animal Instinct was incredibly tender, and the Albufera sauce was rich yet elegant. The crisp green bean salad added the perfect contrast in texture. The Time of Cherries brought a burst of summer — cherry vinaigrette, verbena frozen nougat, fresh herbs, and almonds. A whimsical, refreshing palate cleanser. The Pistachio and Decadence dessert was exactly as promised: indulgent and satisfying, with crunchy textures and deep cocoa aromas balancing the pistachio ice cream. The meal ended with a charming assortment of Sweet Kisses — small bites and surprises, including fruit, cakes, and a candlelit touch that made the evening feel personal and special. Overall, the menu was elegant and playful, rooted in the terroir but globally inspired. Service was warm. However I don’t like them rush on taking away my dish which I had not finished yet. Even though, this meal took 3.5hr. Very good experience. They even gave us a small Tiramisu for our occasion. Really sweet! Thank you! At the time we leave, they also prepare small gift, two madeleine. Anyway, I think it’s a really good experience, as every dish is above average, but also not super surprisingly high end, so it worth a Michelin 1-star.

Google
It was a continuous enjoyment from the first bites until dessert. Even when going for fine dining, It's rare to enjoy every single dish. However this time we were just enjoying every single bites of every dishes. Every dish was packed with flavours and freshness, from local products to few japanese influences, I still remember the delicious sauces a day after, the lobster bisque, the curry/coco and fish soupe, or the dashi beurre blanc, I can't wait to try to go back !

Google
New wave style. Chic and elegant, but not stiff. The staff was polite, and we were impressed by the variety of plates served within a single course. The Japanese-inspired soup, the rabbit and foie gras dish, and the dessert were incredibly delicious. The oyster was also a special experience. At the beginning, things were a bit tricky, we would have gladly ordered a wine pairing, but only the aperitif menu was brought out. Even afterward, it wasn’t entirely clear which wines were available by the glass, but a few courses in, a server kindly made some recommendations. As we were leaving, they surprised us with a small gift. Charming.

Google
Simply one of the best dinners we’ve aver had in any city! Incredible creativity with inspiration from Provence. Every dish in our 6 course tasting menu full of flavour, colour and texture. Intimate experience with limited number of tables. And attentive, highly skilled service. All this for €125 is incredible value for fine dining. A must visit if you are in Nice !

Yelp
If you're craving something a tad more fancy, head over to Les Agitateurs for a gastronomic delight! The resto itself is gorgeous outside as it is inside. Simplistic white washed walls for an oceanic touch accompanied by growing avocado plants in glass vases & wooden furnishings as decor. The food & the plating are fantastic - elegant, filling without being over the top & fully innovative. Thank you for a beautiful night!

Yelp
A fantastic offering from the team here. The value of food and service is excellent and certainly worthy of its Michelin star. From the beginning to end of service, dish after dish of well prepared ingredients. The bouillabaisse and veal were just superb. The gnocchi was feather light, with just as much attention given to the rest of the menu. The interior space is modern with great music and you feel right at home in this space. The old port area in Nice has such good food offerings not to miss!

Yelp
Where do I start? They lived up to their name. We were very AGITATED. How did this become a Michelin restaurant? I feel like my wallet was pillaged. Don't go. Don't go. The best WORST meal I have ever had. Start to finish. Three of us went and drank two bottles of wine thinking that would help. It didn't. The first course was good, not great. Onion tart dip thing. But at least 5 courses after that one had onions. Guess they were trying to get rid of them before they went bad? After each course, we were hopeful it would get better. It did not. One course had three shrimp, and one of mine tasted rank. Was hoping at least the dessert would blow us away. Nope. Buyer beware, you have to put down a CC to reserve. You have until 4:00 pm that day to cancel, but if you cancel after 4:00, they will charge you about $100 per person. So we went thinking surely it would be better than throwing away $300. Well $625 later, I am here to tell you, we should have taken the L. At least the wine was très bien!

Yelp
We loved the food. Very attentive service. The place is very stylish and modernly decorated. For this caliber of place, it was reasonably priced.

Yelp
This was our first dining experience where you pay a pre set price and get 10 courses of small portions. We had an amazing time and the staff were all so friendly and full of smiles. The restaurant itself was very cute and cozy. The food was great - it is Mediterranean/Nicoise food so be prepared for lots of seafood. Presentation was beautiful and the ingredients all blended together so well. We also had the opportunity to dine at several other places around Nice and when compared to some other Michelin places, the only critique I have of the restaurant is the price. I can't discount any ratings though because we had an amazing experience especially being our first time dining this fine.

Yelp
Dinner service was incredible. The staff was attentive to each diner and put a great amount of care into the experience. The menu is thoughtfully crafted using local ingredients, which comes through in the quality of the meal. Would absolutely recommend the five course option, which is 39 euro but is less expensive than some a la carte options in some restaurants along the port.

Yelp
How do I start? Maybe with the most important sentence of this review: Go have dinner at Les Agitateurs! It's absolutely DELICIOUS! We went on a Friday afternoon (before 7pm) and were the first ones to arrive. We were quickly attended to by one of the three chefs/owners of the restaurant and told that the kitchen would open in roughly 15-20 mins. After a short introduction to the concept of the restaurant (which is to shake up common culinary norms and provide great food without the suit-and-tie "uptight-ness") we were served refreshing Rose wine as recommended to Start thing off. We both went for the 5 course menu and were absolutely blown away! Each dish was served with attention to detail, fantastic pairings of flavors and a bit of a "backstory" to it. The amuse bouches were amazing, tuna so tender it literally melted in your mouth... (just to give you a hint of what we experienced) All dishes were amazing. Even more so after we found out that the dishes used to serve the courses were commissioned exclusively for the restaurant. So much attention to every single detail has gone into the restaurant and the courses. Les Agitateurs has only been open for roughly 1 month (opened in May 2018) and it was pure joy to dine here and see what would land on our tables next. We were brought tab water and fresh bread multiple times throughout our dinner and were cared for extremely well. The chefs are super sympathetic and it was a lot of fun chatting with them about their creations. We finished the menu with two wonderful cocktails and left roughly 2,5 hrs later, amazed and delighted by the quality of what we had just eaten. We hope that Les Agitateurs has a bright future ahead of itself and wish the chefs all the best for the future! We could not have ended our day in Nice more perfectly. Thank you for an extraordinary experience!

Yelp
Simply perfection. How often do you agree with your spouse this was possibly the best meal you've ever had! We chose the 6 course version, you can choose 6 , 9 a l carte, or the seasonal special. We felt the value was absolutely worth the money. Splurge, relax and enjoy food and flavors beyond comparison. We've already decided to return on this trip for the lamb cooked for 16 hours. Thank you Les Agitateurs family and staff!! Fantastic.

Yelp
My husband and I went here several days in a row because we loved this spot so much! The food was absolutely life changing, and the service was impeccable. My favorite thing about this place is that the 3 chefs who own the restaurant are also the wait staff! They were unbelievably kind, and are all three extremely talented at what they do. With a menu that changed daily, the food was always extremely fresh and interesting. The food is inspired by different cultures, but cooked with French technique (perfection). We were also floored by how affordable this place was for the amount of courses you received (Hello, 4 course brunch!). The interior feels very upscale but cozy, and we definitely sat there one day for several hours. Coming here was one of the highlights of our trip, and we will absolutely be going back when we visit in the future!
