My experience in this apartment has been disappointing. Seven months ago, I noticed a persistent cigarette odor, which management addressed after three months with a temporary solution. Unfortunately, the issue has returned in the past month, making the living conditions unpleasant once again. The process for reporting issues is outdated and inconvenient. Residents must leave a note for the doorman on a piece of paper, which is then passed on to management. However, despite multiple inquiries, there has been no response or timeline for resolution. Additionally, attempts to contact management via email, using the provided address, have been met with silence. This lack of responsiveness and accountability is concerning. While the building may have had positive ratings previously, it seems these are only applicable under ideal circumstances. I would caution against considering this apartment, especially for those with health concerns or a desire for a smoke-free environment! Furthermore, individuals with traditional 8-5 work schedules may find it challenging, even impossible, to communicate with management. Other than the piece of paper that can easily get lost, there is literally no other way to communicate with anyone. If they come to your door and you are not home because you were working (from 8-9), you lose your chance, and the process should start over. No call, no email, you will not even know if they passed or not. Overall, this has been a regrettable rental experience, and I advise against choosing this residence, especially if you are a non-smoker.
