"In the heart of historic Poitiers, this 19C Jesuit chapel was for many years home to the region’s archives. Now its columns and arches have been transfigured thanks to a contemporary makeover, resulting in a lavish brasserie boasting a ceiling of cathedral-height proportions and an open-plan kitchen. The modern score by chef Fabien Boinot demonstrates a weakness for vegetables and there is an entirely vegetarian menu. Dishes you may sample include cod in fresh ginger, orange-flavoured carrots and a Thai basil emulsion which illustrates the exotic tinge of the chef’s culinary lineup. The lunchtime menu is a steal – hence the crowds…" - Michelin Inspector

Very nice and unique restaurant. The food looked amazing and was wel served with good sizes for the portions. The service was also very friendly and fast. There were just 2 small inconveniences, when i got my starter there was a small plastic layer still on the side of the dish. And the desert was hard to eat, there were to many different tastes all at once which made it hard to eat. But overall a good experience!

This is a truly excellent restaurant. The menu was varied, interesting and well priced. Our waitress was good fun and quickly established a natural rapport. Highly recommend and we'll be visiting again when we're in the area.

Located in an architectural renovation work of art, the setting in this large eating room is casual, great service and good food at reasonable prices. I had the rouget fillet, which was lacquered or marinated before grilling. It was fine, but I had expected a simpler preparation to highlight the freshness of the fish. Highly recommended restaurant.

I was looking forward to this one as recommended by friends. The place is nice. The service was okay but felt rushed between courses. Both mains were prepared too early so most of the food was cold. It tasted lovely but not close to the price range.

Beautiful setting and good cuisine made from fresh local produce. Local cuisine with a twist. Various menu offers including with wine paring. Would definitely go again.

Perfect service, extremely good food, wrong lightings in this restored former church. Wine selection and mixology are perfect

A beautiful restaurant in Poitiers. Have been for two meals. It’s a wonderfully renovated church with a great atmosphere. With the tall ceilings the sound disperses so it’s easy to have quiet conversations during your meal. The food, wine and service is all excellent. Enjoyable both times…

This is one of the best restaurants in Poitiers but it does get very full and is very noisy at lunchtimes as it is so popular. Booking is absolutely essential and it is best to book an early time as they do seem sometimes to run out of some of the dishes which can be really disappointing. The food is very good but this is not the place to go if you want a relaxed dining experience!

Yelp
What a nice surprise to find a great restaurant in the same building as our hotel! Reservations were necessary and when we arrived we could see why. This place is popular with locals and others alike. We opted for the menus with wine paring. I was very pleased with the vegetarian menu, my husband went for the seafood options. The food surpassed our expectations, it was delicious and creative and the wines were very good! The restaurant is proud of the region and works with many local producers. Everything tasted fresh. The vegetarian menu was- as far as I could see - vegan. Fine French dining in the beautiful setting of an old Jesuit church. Wonderful, we'll be back!

Yelp
We found this place via the recommendation of a local resident who lived near our lodging. It is located in an old Jesuit Chapel quite near the Hotel de Ville square. Ambiance was great as was the service and the food was excellent. If you are visiting Poitiers, strongly recommend this place for dinner.
