Our dinner at Les Ateliers was a beautiful reminder of what a Michelin-starred experience truly means. The atmosphere was elegant, sophisticated, and serene, creating the perfect setting for a refined evening.
Service was exceptional, warm and attentive without being intrusive. A lady who we believe is the owner personally checked in with us throughout the evening to ensure everything was perfect. She was incredibly kind and genuinely caring—a lovely presence that added to the charm of the night.
We began with the crispy fresh goat’s cheese and asparagus vinaigrette, which was simply outstanding. The crisp outer layer, the creamy texture of the cheese inside, and the fresh acidity from the asparagus created a perfectly balanced and memorable start to our meal. This was easily one of the highlights of the evening.
For mains, we first had the green shrimps curry with coconut milk and basmati rice. The subtle sweetness of the coconut, the beautifully cooked and delicate shrimp, and the fragrant basmati rice came together in a dish that was both refined and harmoniously balanced.
Next, we enjoyed the cut of veal with morels. The meat was cooked to absolute perfection—tender and flavorful. Despite being a meat dish, it felt light and elegant, with the morel mushrooms adding an earthy richness that tied it all together. We paired it with a local white wine that had a fruity character, mild acidity, and low body, which complemented the dish beautifully.
To finish, we had the Crème brûlée with Madagascar vanilla. A classic done perfectly—with a crisp caramel top and a silky, rich vanilla custard beneath. A flawless ending to a truly lovely evening.
