17 Glam Boutique Hotels in Palm Springs, From Spanish Revival Villas to Historic Escapes for Hollywood Stars

"The trendy little Les Cactus is a quaint getaway in a quieter part of Palm Springs, though it's still quite close to the action—it's just over a mile from downtown Palm Springs. The 27-room boutique property is named for the 1960s French rock song by Jacques Dutronc, and it certainly takes its design cues from the same era. Rattan and cane furniture is paired with retro patterns in textiles and wallpaper, all in California-appropriate pastel hues. There's a communal kitchen space from which guests can nab canned cocktails, beer, and wine, and a complimentary continental breakfast is brought to your door in a cute basket."

"The Les Cactus interior is quintessential Palm Springs. From $286 a night and its unending Insta-worthy nooks looks like the Beverly Hills Hotel went on a road trip. There’s retro desert design, including rattan furniture and hammocks, as well as house beach cruisers, and of course, plenty of cacti. While the hotel is pet friendly, it’s an adults-only place, allowing only guests 21 and over."

The experience at Les Cactus is so delightful. You will not regret it. It’s so charming and aesthetically pleasing. Daniella was a wonderful host and made me feel taken care of. The rooms were v clean, and walked into an already cool room — was a nice surprise after a hot day. The pool is amazing — fresh towels, water and plenty of chairs/umbrellas for everyone! Everyone who stayed there was equally pleasant. It was nice chatting with others by the pool. Felt safe and secure getting in and out of the hotel and it’s a hop, skip and a jump from everything. Cherry on top is a cute little breakfast basket during breakfast service. They really pay attention to every single detail and as a creative, I really appreciated that. Can’t wait to visit again!

I loved celebrating my low-key bachelorette here! The property is secluded, private, and stunning, perfect for a special getaway. The staff went above and beyond, the breakfast was spot on, and the pool (with those dreamy misters!) was bliss. Room 25 is spacious and beautiful, definitely request it if you can. We loved the view from the hidden little rooftop. We also really appreciated the smooth, stress-free late-night check-in. Le Cactus has officially become our favorite spot in Palm Springs.

I came here for a solo night away and had a lovely time! It was in a quiet pocket of Palm Springs and felt safe and peaceful. The room was spacious and clean, and the bed super comfy! It would have been a long-ish walk to the main stretch of Palm Springs, so I chose to hop in my car to explore due to the heat. However, the price of the room was very fair and reflected the location being a little less central, so no complaints here! It was a friendly bit quiet crowd when I visited on a Thursday night (a great time to visit since the art museum is free and there is a street fair!). Breakfast was delish and the staff was so warm. Would definitely return solo or with my husband!

Hospitality at its finest! Staff are so kind and genuine. Cute and eclectic decor with large spacious rooms. The amenities are simple and useful, don’t expect the Four Seasons, but you’ll have everything you need for a great stay. Loved the robes, yoga mat and block, snacks on arrival and delicious pool side beverages. The grounds are well maintained, comfy beds and great pool. I appreciated the quiet atmosphere and garden oasis vibes.

Google
I cannot speak more highly or recommend this place enough. The snacks upon arrival. The perfect breakfast every morning. The beautiful, spacious and clean rooms. The pool was perfectly laid out and clean and wonderful to be in. The most important was the staff though. Everyone was sweet and nice and accommodating. Daniella and the other front desk gentleman (I feel bad I never got his name) were so fun and wonderful. Great personalities. Perfect little sister and we cannot wait to bring our spouses back!

We loved our stay at Les Cactus! The property is so stunning and decorated so incredibly! The beds and pillows are so comfy and I’m sad I have to leave them! The staff were lovely, the breakfast 10/10 and the location was so close to everything! By far the best part of the stay was Daniela! She is incredible and I really hope they know what a gem she is and deserves every bit of raise she can get! She made the stay so amazing as she was very attentively, accommodating, and overall the most thoughtful and kind person we encountered on the trip.

Great experience staying at Les Cactus. Comfortable, spacious room close to the pool and hot tub. Loved the decor of the property. The staff members we encountered were all friendly and helpful, especially Richard who checked us in and Daniella who served up a lovely continental breakfast spread of fresh fruit, granola, oatmeal, yogurt, coffee, juice and the TOP TIER croissants from a local bakery, L’Atelier. Daniella also gave us great recommendations about things to do in PS. We look forward to returning to Les Cactus.

I don’t know where to begin. Every detail of this place was dreamy! The staff was so kind and accommodating and the grounds were so well kept! The room was immaculate, the snacks and toiletries were top quality, and the bed was insanely comfortable! The pool was a dream nestled in an idyllic garden courtyard with great music playing over the sound system. 10/10, I will absolutely be back.

Yelp
So.... It SEEMS like I've been living in Palm Springs forever now, right? Going through my daily routine... had no clue that Le Cactus existed. I mean, seriously, where have I been hiding? My friend swings by for a visit, stays at this secret hotel, and my curiosity radar goes beep, beep. Off I go, and guess what? It's like a magic trick. Ta-da! There's this super-cute place right under my nose. I walk in, and I can't stop smiling. It's all cozy and charming, like a Pinterest dream come to life. Seriously, how did I miss this? And that's when it hits me: I've been sleepwalking through my own town. The pain of not knowing about this gem sooner is REAL. It's like missing out on a secret party that's been going on next door. Life's full of surprises, and this one's a mix of "duh" and "ahhhhhhhhhh!" all rolled into one. Who knew my town had such a sneaky side? Time to explore more and catch up on what I've been missing!

Yelp
We prefer adults-only boutique hotels like Colony Palms and Sands, but decided to try something new. We were disappointed to see this was basically an updated apt complex with a few cutesy decor touches that attract hordes of influencers. There was actually some kind of sad influencer convention during our stay, and we had to share the pool with 50+ aspiring influencers of all ages/sizes who probably shelled out thousands to learn how to be a tik tok star and learning how to pose in between wilted takeout salads by the pool. The whole thing had a fyre fest vibe to it and the organizers kept trying to pump up the crowd with sorority-type cheers, making it impossible for us to enjoy chill pool time. My biggest complaint was that they didn't bother to update the old musty bathrooms that were filled with flies, and that includes not having HOT WATER. A hot shower is the #1 most important thing when you're paying $400/night. When we asked the guy at the front desk, he shrugged and said it's an old hotel - zero apology and it was clear he was annoyed by this common guest complaint. We ended up having to push out our dinner reservation another hour so we could wait it out and squeeze in 2-min lukewarm showers. I've stayed in many historical hotels and it's not that difficult to upgrade the plumbing. I will give a shout-out to the girl at the front desk who checked us in - she was more friendly than the guy. Overall there are way better places to stay at this price point.

Yelp
The room layout was good and spacious we got the comfortable. The bed was soft good mattress and good size. The restroom was below average, the toilet was hard to flush, the shower was outdated and small. The music was too loud for our room we were really right next to the entrance. Aesthetics were super cute!! Pool: Place comes with Jacuzzi, Pool deck and sun deck. The pool was small and lots of plants near the pool so towards the end of the day it was dirty . Loved the jacuzzi! Sun deck is small but cute. Pool closes at 9pm but wish it was open later. They offer canned alcohol and were good but pricey. Parking: wish they had gated parking. There was an individual yelling and screaming at night and we felt unsafe to get out of the car.

Yelp
This is my first time staying at Les Cactus and I was not disappointed. The ambiance is super cute, inside and out. Very retro-vintage-motor court feel. My room was very spacious with plenty of light and thoughtfully curated decor. (Yes, the shower is tiny but the water pressure is excellent. And, plenty of hot water.) It is a small boutique hotel and it feels very peaceful. Check in was easy and the staff was extremely welcoming. Parking space is included and the hotel is tucked away on a street away from the busy roads. The room also includes a small fridge with freezer and kitchen sink area. The grounds are well manicured with cactus and bougevvilla and the pool area is clean with lounge chairs that aren't gross from sunscreen. There are tables with umbrellas scattered around so you can enjoy the free breakfast outside or in your room. The breakfast presentation was equally adorable- a per room basket with two croissants, banana, granola, and optional oatmeal and assorted chobani yogurt flavors with a choice of coffee or tea. It's easy to recommend this hotel if you are looking for an excellent boutique hotel experience that feels local and not corporate. I have stayed at several PS hotels and I will gladly be returning to this one.

Yelp
Les Cactus literally stole my heart! The pink atmosphere kept a smile on my face the entire time! The theme is pink and green throughout. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. Staff was great and very friendly. You must know that this is a peaceful, relaxing stay. You will not hear speakers or any kind of sounds at the pool. Pure bliss in your thoughts. If you are booking to party, this is definitely not the stay for you. I gave it four stars due to not having hot food and or an actual bar as that would be perfection for the guests and for my liking. All other aspects are met. Furthermore, I would like to repeat that this is a relaxing boutique hotel, I repeat, a BOUTIQUE hotel. let's say it together, Boutique! For those who thrive on boutique hotels you know you are booking for the following Perks: 1. One of a kind experience 2. Attention to detail 3. Unique/Vintage decor 4. Minimal guests With that being said, you can never book at a boutique and expect big chain results, it just isn't realistic. This review is for a boutique hotel and Les Cactus meets all 4 criteria of mine.

Yelp
We live in Palm Springs and just wanted to have a little staycation to celebrate our anniversary. Soooo pleased with this little gem. Daniella at reception has such a great personality and was an absolute doll. She was so helpful with everything we needed. We would not hesitate to recommend Les Cactus !!

Yelp
Just recently stayed here with my oldest daughter. The atmosphere is delightful with fruit trees and bougainvilleas abound, daily breakfasts offered, very lovely swimming pool, and a hot tub. The rooms are spacious, clean, and they come with a kitchen. The staff is what makes the place! They were so accommodating, sweet, and helpful. It had gotten so warm, that they offered everyone Otter Pops. Oh and they offer massages! Les Cactus is not far from the airport which made everything convenient. You will not be disappointed, I promise.

Yelp
I absolutely love this hotel. Everything about it was aesthetically pleasing. The staff was amazing everyone was smiling and friendly. They offer the cutest complementary breakfast baskets in the morning along with coffee or tea. The pool I believe is a salt water pool and they have it at such a perfect temperature it was so relaxing I didn't want to get out. They have bikes to ride and hammocks to relax in. The pink and green decor I loved. It's a really cute hotel. This was such a tranquil place I had a great time and I will definitely be back again.

Yelp
Everything about Les Cactus is wonderful. A perfect place to relax and recharge. The rooms comfortable and well adorned and spotless. The hot water in the shower comes out hot. The pool area is beautiful and peaceful. The pool is big, heated and I just sat in the pool and read. The jacuzzi is wonderful. The staff is perfect. It's just a perfect get away.

Yelp
This place is vibes Quiet quiet quiet, under 30 rooms, peaceful, serene beautiful. It is 21+ but it's not one of those 21+ places (no shame; just distinction). There's a lovely pool, cute hot tub, tiny roof top deck. That's it. It's perfect for a reset, for internal work, for a chill getaway. We laid by the pool all day, as many others did. Chill lofi music was piped in quietly at the pool. Breakfast was picked up in the lobby - typically fruit, granola, oatmeal, yogurt, some sort of baked good & coffee/tea. Snacks were provided in our room upon check-in & we could request more at any time. Rooms were immaculately clean, staff was lovely & accommodating. Room rates were completely reasonable for the adorable refurbished old-school Palm Springs studio apts. with high ceilings & room to breathe. My bestie has had a terrible year so I took her out there for a lil break. We loved it so much we wound up staying an extra night. Yeah.

Yelp
What a dreamy desert getaway this place is! It's now one of my favorite boutique hotels in Palm Springs. My husband and I stayed here for a quick weekend getaway during the pandemic, and we were so enamored with the space we decided to return. See below for a full review. PROS: - The property only has 27 rooms and it's adult-only, so it is as intimate and tranquil as you can get in PS. - The design of the common spaces and rooms are cohesively dessert chic and simply perfect *chef's kiss* - They take sanitation seriously. I saw everyone from the receptionist to housekeeping constantly sanitizing surfaces and furniture. - They have standard amenities like a saltwater pool, hot tub, and massage room. BUT, they also have some fantastic surprise amenities like dreamy Casper mattresses, a basic but tasty continental breakfast, and BICYCLES!!! - The staff is kind and graciously let my hubby and I take photos all around their property like the annoying millennials we are. CONS: - No gym ‍ - Its no longer a little secret in PS, so be sure to book in advance!

Yelp
Very cute spot, very comfy bed, deeeeelish croissants (free continental breakfast), I appreciate their commitment to keeping the place quiet with some basic rules (yes more than I've seen before in a hotel personally but honestly, was way into it!), I do wish that the front desk was open overnight (would feel more secure maybe? Or like I had more recourse if something was amiss?) so deducting a star for that. Lastly, the walls are fairly thin BUT the white noise of the super efficient ductless AC drowns things out so no real complaint there, just an observation. Massage was great (they have a little massage room on site). Tips: the hotel is located in Warm Sands which apparently (?) is known for some of PS's rowdier (and in some cases, seedier) hotels. They literally surround this hotel on a small circular street but I experienced no ill effects - I would just say if coming and going late at night be aware of your surroundings. Room 19 was nicely tucked away in back, so pretty quiet but nice view of courtyard. It was a "Cozy" size (they have 4 diff sizes to choose from). I felt it was spacious. All in all, I'd stay here again! Thanks for a great 2 nights.

Yelp
This place is amazing! We look forward to the next time we can come back here and will definitely stay here again. The staff is amazing and very kind, breakfast is great, the property is absolutely beautiful and the location is perfect. Highly recommend if looking for a place to stay in Palm Springs!

Yelp
Bruh, Florence needs to go. This business is going to fail even more than it already has if they keep up the lack of hospitality and disrespect. The good reviews on this spot are obviously comped and paid influencers, you can tell by the photos they post. This place is cheaply aesthetically pleasing....There is no bar, but they have a rule that no outside alcohol is allowed to be consumed on the premises. Uh.... Okay, mom lol. They do have alcoholic beverages (canned margs with low % alcohol) available for purchase.... Obviously they have some sort of deal with the brands. There's a lot of rules for a boutique hotel. I felt anything other than comfortable or welcomed here. There were empty and broken soap dispensers in the room and when i brought it to the front desks attention (Florence) i was told they had no more toiletries... sounds fake but okay. When i asked to have house keeping come to our room because a drink had spilled on the blanket she told me her cleaning crew leaves at 3 and there was nothing she could or would do.... Not sure how you'll have a successful or even functioning hotel without a crew on deck at least until the office hours close. Pool hours end at 9, pool is centered of the whole hotel, so basically you have to be in your room by 9. There's just a lot of rules here. Very stiff, fake energy all around. On top of that, i was illegally charged resort fees to my card. Illegal meaning patty charged my card before disclosing what i was being charged for. My boyfriends card was also charged an additional $200. His card was NEVER in file. He paid for the canned drinks but somewhere down the line i guess they just wanted to charge us an extra $200. Claiming there was damage to the room....lololololllll. There wasn't they're just stuck up here and looking for any way to charge their paying customers. Honestly probably because they're not making enough money. Whatever, i guess their hustle games strong! AND JUST THE ICING ON THE CAKE * drum role please...* After presenting documentation for my boyfriends service dog, Florence illegally pressed to know what my boyfriends disability was. I think She was just butt hurt that we didn't pay the animal fee :( but sorry love, a service dog gets in everywhere for free. Oh, i also was charged an additional $20 for god knows what lol. But i guess if you're so desperate that you need to find any excuse to scam your paying customers, maybe you need my $20 more than i do Stay bless les cactus, love and light. I'm sure y'all won't be around too much longer.

Yelp
Just a lovely weekend. The room was a crisp mix of vintage and new decor. Comfortable bed, delicious sheets. The pool area is seriously beautiful. The folks who run it were delightful. Breakfast charming. Won't be our last visit.

Yelp
I'm pretty surprised honestly to see all of the very high reviews...the hotel is cute, but overall I was not impressed with the retro motel type vibe and my husband referred to it actually as "putting lipstick on a pig". When we arrived, the front desk couldn't find our reservation and then stated that they had us in their system as not showing up until the next day. They got us squared away so it was not a big deal, but I was very annoyed when we saw an extra night charge show up on our card the next day as we had already paid in full. When we asked them to drop the charge, the front desk actually pushed back a little and we had to explain and show proof of this again. The rooms are large and spacious, but the bathroom is TINY. Water pressure is strong but drain is too small so I was constantly standing in an inch of water - very gross. The "daily continental breakfast" they offer is the same thing, every day. 1 banana, 2 croissants and a yogurt option. No coffee bar or any bar at all aside from a bar cart with canned beverages is all they have for $10 a piece. Location was great, very central to Downtown and various restaurants. Will not be returning here though and won't be recommending.

Da H.

Yelp
I had booked a three-night stay at this hotel and had to cancel about 40 hours before the stay due to a family emergency. I made four attempts to see if I could get partial credit back or rebook the stay for another time. I spoke to Daniella, the lovely girl who answered the phone twice. She informed the manager, Andy, of my situation. But because I booked a nonrefundable ticket, she couldn't refund any money. She gave me Andy's email to contact him directly, which I did twice but never received a response. I know I wasn't entitled to a refund, but it sure would have been nice for management to communicate with me, especially during a difficult time. After paying $900 for my stay, I expected better customer service from a boutique hotel. As a result, I will NOT be booking this hotel for any future visits to Palm Springs. NO customer service!

Yelp
Stayed here for 4 glorious nights in room 22 which has a king sized comfy bed, kitchen area and a closet bathroom area. Oh and a sitting area in front of a non working fireplace. Lots of cute details. I only wish our room had a dresser of some sort so you could unpack. Each morning breakfast is served in a cute little basket which you can enjoy on a variety of tables in the courtyard. The courtyard is the hidden gem!! Beautiful area with a pool, hot tub, fire pit, water fountain etc and oh so peaceful. There are hammocks too and bikes to use free of charge. I am really going to miss this place and am so happy my husband and I got to enjoy it.

Yelp
Great place! Quiet and clean, friendly staff. My only knock is that coffee is available until 8am lol but I'm an early riser so that's why. Pool area is beautiful and peaceful and once inside it's like you are somewhere far away but still close to the city, we loved our stay!!!

Yelp
My boyfriend and I had an absolutely lovely time during our stay at Les Cactus! I highly recommend this sweet little boutique hotel for anyone visiting the Palm Springs area! It's also very close to the downtown (we were able to bike there using complimentary bikes provided by the hotel in about 10 mins), which was super convenient! We came during the pandemic for a nice, safe little staycation. Les Cactus was perfect. It has a dreamy desert vibe and beautiful little spots around the hotel to hangout and relax. The decor and amenities are so picturesque! I probably spent the first hour of our stay just snapping pictures it was all so CUTE! We stayed in room 22, and wow, what a treat. Casper bed, a cute kitchenette with a kettle and full sized fridge, adorable wicker chairs, and a tv, what more can you ask for during a staycation? I also loved the little snack bag that was in the room when we arrived, and the breakfast baskets every morning. We spend most of our staycation relaxing in a hammock, enjoying the Mountain View from one of the rooftops, and relaxing by the pool. I felt like all the guests were very respectful, and kept their distance. We kept our masks on when we weren't eating or swimming, and everything felt very safe! Although Les Cactus doesn't have any restaurants on site, they provide snacks and little breakfast baskets with yogurt, granola, fruit and coffee in the mornings. The hotel is also very easy to order food delivery service to, and just a few miles from the downtown with lots of restaurants to choose from! I can't wait to come back, I feel like this would be an awesome place for a group of friends to stay together and explore Palm Springs (when everything is open again). And the best part, it's pet friendly! We'll def be sure to bring our little pup next time!!!

Yelp
We just spent 5 days here and had a blast. I have no complaints. The hotel is quiet and the staff was really nice. Good parking situation, nice breakfast in the morning. Hot tub and pool were great.

Yelp
This place was awesome! The whole complex is absolutely adorable! The rooms are perfect size with great AC,so cute and perfectly clean. Richard made our stay so special! So nice and couldn't be more accommodating. We had a nice bottle of wine in our room when we arrived. We were celebrating my birthday! What a nice touch. The small Quaint vibe was so perfect for us for 5 days. Can't wait to go back again.

Yelp
I highly recommend reading the 1 Star reviews on here for a good laugh. Most of these people sound super needy and absolutely insane. This is a charming little boutique hotel that even says it is geared toward those looking for a quiet peaceful getaway on the website. The staff was also extremely friendly and courteous. The room was super clean and cozy, the breakfast they provide is a perfect way to start the day and the peaceful calm environment in the courtyard is why I'm here. If you are looking to party with your obnoxious gal pals and bro boys go to Margaritaville and throw up in the bushes there.
google avatar

Yelp
We've had such a great experience since day 1 here! Staff was super friendly & helpful, room was trendy & clean, ambiance is relaxing, & the attention to detail here is amazing! They were even so nice to leave a bottle of wine when we arrived to our room for our anniversary:) thank you Les Cactus for that :) they also have bikes to use, & they give each room a cute breakfast basket every morning! This is such a nice getaway for small groups/couples, who want a quiet, relaxing, but trendy getaway. Loved our anniversary weekend here!

Yelp
BIG BROTHER IS WATCHING. We stayed here recently and many instances point to -- BEWARE, you are better off staying at a larger chain hotel, or at least a 'real' hotel. Note - read all the low 1-2 star reviews on this establishment, they hold true to what we experienced. They are buried behind the stellar reviews, but here is the real deal. Some issues, facts that might tell you to go reconsider booking this place. 1) I was at the pool one evening with friends, and it was 9:45pm. A facility manager came by and said that the jacuzzi and pool closed at 9pm. We asked, "does it hurt anyone if we just sit here and have a conversation?" He replied, "The owners are watching you and they can see me telling you to leave the pool. If you don't leave, they'll tell me to kick you out." WATCHING ME? I learned from this stay that they are watching you. Watching you all day. They know what you do and where you go on the property. A little freaky. There are cameras everywhere. You will surely feel like you're back in college, or summer camp and they are telling you to go back to your room and go to bed. Im on vacation, and I have to be in my room by 9pm?! WTF. 2) They dont want you to bring any alcohol on the property. You have to buy their drinks. Note, there is no bar. It's canned drinks they sell in the lobby. 3) No phones in the rooms. If you have a problem or need assistance, you have to walk to the lobby, which by the way closes at 9pm. So if you have an emergency after 9pm -- good luck getting any help. Youll have to call the police for any real help. 4) We experienced bugs in our room too. OK, it's the desert, and they exist, but maybe they need to have better seals around their doors. 5) Breakfast is lame. Croissants, yogurt and watery coffee. We had it once, and decided to just go to Koffi instead. Not worth it. 6) TV in the room was not even set-up. We couldnt even access any of the apps (Netflix, HBOMax, etc.) Thankfully a previous guest logged in and didnt log out. LOL. Cant the 'hotel' afford to offer these channels? 7) Toilet pressure was horrible. It barely flushed. Youll have to like looking at your skid marks during your stay.

Yelp
Lovely! Very polite staff. Serene and quiet courtyard even when the guests are out during breakfast. Pool is heated and the hot tub is large. We had a great stay!

Yelp
We were I town for the PowerTrip festival and this caught our eye online because it seemed like it had a cool and chill vibe. It definitely met those expectations. We spent a lot of time during the day by the pool - nice balance of shady and sunny spots, enough chaise lounges to accommodate the guests, pool was at a nice temperature, music not too loud - a great way to spend a few hours. The rooms were clean, ours had a small kitchenette and even a small back patio. Nice comfortable bed. The staff was very friendly and engaging. One of the nice perks was the complimentary continental breakfast each morning with croissants, fruit, yogurt, oatmeal and coffee or tea. It was a nice quick & easy way to get our days started before heading out. **Note - no outside alcohol is allowed. There is no bar at the hotel, but they do have some canned alcoholic beverages for purchase in the lobby. The general vibe seemed to be a quiet and relaxing one, which suited what we wanted. If you are looking for a party spot, this is not it.** We are definitely planning a return trip!

Yelp
After searching around all different hotel and air bnb options we landed on Les Cactus. It is very IG worthy, if you're into that kinda thing. The rooms are very simple, modest. But that worked for us. One big thing to note is no outside alcohol is allowed - so be prepared for that. The pool area is super cute. They also do not allow speakers by the pool. It was VERY quiet. We actually kinda felt like we needed to whisper it was that quiet. That being said we still really enjoyed it. They have a very minimal breakfast in the mornings: coffee, oatmeal, croissants, bananas, yogurt. The team there was all nice and helpful. Richard was great, and I didn't get the other gentleman's name who was running the breakfast in the morning but he was also very nice when I missed my flight and came back to leave my bags at the hotel for a while. We would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend.

Love this place! I've been coming here for the past two years and it's amazing. It's so relaxing and has the best pool and jacuzzi. The breakfast is great each morning and the beds are super comfy. Definitely recommend and I'll continue to come back each year! Also, shoutout to Patty for being a wonderful, professional masseuse!

Yelp
The most incredible getaway!! I absolutely adored spending my weekend at this beautiful boutique hotel. The breakfast is absolutely delicious and the views are to die for. I loved everything about my stay here and will definitely be making another trip out soon! If I could live here, I would! It's THAT wonderful.

Yelp
During COVID Review - I would come here again and again how safe + accommodating Les Cactus is! The proximity to restaurants is amazing. Hats off to the owners and designers of flipping that property to make it was it is now! We stayed in a larger room and the only suggestion I would make is to add more carpets to cozy up the space however I know due to COVID they removed many decorative items to avoid extra contact which is understandable. The staff was amazing! very attentive, welcoming when we checked in, throughout our stay + provided these cute breakfast baskets with yogurts + chocolate croissants to avoid contact. I'd stay here again in a heart beat!

Yelp
Love this place. Been here 4 times now. My bf and I love coming here because of the rules. We know what we are booking when we come here. It's very quite. Small and kept very clean. The staff is small but they work hard. We always have a welcoming front desk person and truly feel at home when we come. They don't allow outside alcohol which means no craziness and drunk people disrupting your oasis get away. Pool is clean, perfect temperature, and perfect size! One time we were greeted with otter pops!!!such a lovely touch. We love this place for that. It's not for everyone. The beds are so comfy. I have even tried to make my bed at home as comfy as theirs and it still isn't the same. We love everything about this place and will be loyal customers for life.

Yelp
Apparently you can't even KNOW more than 2 people at the hotel, otherwise your reservation will be canceled. Us, 2 other couples and a single person booked a total of 4 rooms here to celebrate my husband's 40th birthday. We are all parents of 1 year-old's and were really looking forward to a quiet weekend at the pool and then go out to restaurants at night. We were not planning on raging at the hotel (or at any time in Palm Springs). We are a very mellow group. Patty was incredibly rude and seemed so happy to cancel our reservation less than 24 hours before our arrival. We had already arranged childcare. After reading some of the 1-star reviews here, I'm so happy they cancelled our trip. It sounds like they are extremely controlling, creepy and rude. Luckily, we found an Airbnb for around the same price per person/per night. We're looking forward to having a stress-feee weekend!

Yelp
Les Cactus exceeded my expectations. Lovely boutique hotel with charming décor. The hotel staff was exceptionally accommodating to me and I will always remember this. The location is great. We walked to downtown and they have bikes to tour around as well. I looked forward to the the exquisite continental breakfast with fresh croissants or bagels, fresh fruit, yogurt and great coffee every morning. I would come back anytime. I wish I was there now!

Yelp
Just spent three nights at Les Cactus while attending a conference. The hosting hotel was full so our assistant booked us at LC. Upon arrival, late evening, we were greeted warmly. Our rooms were lit up and welcoming with a bag of snacks included. The courtyard is immaculate with gorgeous bougainvillea!! Felt like a dream to sit out there before and after a work day. Very mellow, relaxing vibe. Alcoholic drinks are available in the lobby. Tasted good and they were affordable - no $15 glass of 4oz glass of wine here- kinda nice! Here is my one hang up - there is no coffee available anywhere until 8am. Given that I was there for work, that was tough. The nearest Starbucks is a 35 minute walk and there really isn't anything else nearby. We were walking or Ubering so this made it tough. (We resorted to buying instant Starbucks and hot faucet water from the bathroom.) The other thing that I found strange was that the door to the lobby (exit) and kitchen area remained locked from 9 pm until exactly 8am. All the guests were sitting out in the courtyard every morning waiting for the door to open so they could get breakfast and coffee. It just felt funny.... It sounds like it's been a bumpy upstart with opening just before COVID hit and then closing and reopening again, so I get it. Lots of potential for this place, super cute decor, and I think if I hadn't been on a work trip, the coffee may not have been so important. Hopefully that will get resolved and perhaps someone will be on-site a little earlier and a little later so that guests can enjoy the grounds more.

Yelp
I keep meaning to write this, as this is truly one of the city's hidden gems. Recently I acquired a new desert home and it needs a sizable remodel, so I need a great home base when I'm in town every week to two weeks. Nothing has made me feel more comfortable or welcome than Les Cactus! Set around a charming poolside courtyard, this downtown adjacent neighborhood charmer is safe, walkable, and has the most amazing staff. Every detail has been thought through, and even before you can think of the question or need, the answer has been served up for you in the most chic and stylish (but never bougie)way. Even though the design is fantastic, it's not over run with influencers, but rather a fabulous diverse group of guests where anyone and everyone can feel great about being there. The accommodations feel more like spacious cabanas than rooms, and even though there's no restaurant on site, their generous breakfast basket gets you rolling and the options nearby are endless. Mad love!

Yelp
Stayed here over the weekend and my fiancé and I loved it. Very peaceful property. It's very small which I loved. We stayed in room 1 which was nice because no one was connected to us and was right outside the pool. Room was very comfy however, only downside is the bathroom is very small. Other than that it's perfect for a weekend trip. They have snacks already on the bed for you and have a cute breakfast in the morning. Everyone in the office was a gem, they were all so kind.

Yelp
What a dream! Such a lovely boutique hotel with so much charm! My husband and I had a little 2 day getaway and booked here. Absolutely met all expectations plus some! The staff is so kind and happy to help with anything. We were checked in my Bernadette and she is just sweet as pie! Full of kindness and tips! The breakfast croissant was amazing!!! Everything has been perfect! We booked massages, enjoyed the rooftop seating, laid in hammocks and tried to enjoy all the amenities. Definitely recommend and we will be coming back!

Yelp
Les Cactus is visually charming, but it all ends there. If you see really giddy reviews on here, it's because they are influencers who got comped. There is no way this place is anywhere close to 5 stars. There is clearly something very wrong with this place and numerous other guests said they felt the same thing. More than creepy. Insidious. Upon checking in, we had to sign a contractual agreement that included numerous bullets about the hotel's rules and regulations which far exceed what you see on their website. It feels like they want to control every aspect of your stay. They do not provide you with a copy of the agreement. The environment is hushed, as if people are afraid to talk and the amplified music is so low as to be barely audible. The lack of any bar makes it all very sober. Nevertheless, everyone sneaks liquor into their rooms despite the stern warning that no outside beverages are allowed. There are no house phones in the rooms. If you have a problem or need assistance, you have to walk to the lobby, which closes at 9pm. So if you have an emergency after 9pm -- good luck getting any help. More concerning is that the management seems to enjoy reminding guests that "we are watching" and that "we have cameras everywhere." One guest we spoke to was told three times that they have seen every interaction he has had on the property, and that they have recorded it. This got us to wondering if they had cameras in our rooms. Another guest had a serious accident in his room when he tried to open his window, his hand going right through the glass. Rather than show any kind of concern for his injury, he was immediately told he would be charged an arbitrary amount for the damage. There was no signage in his room that said do not open windows. We witnessed the on-site manager get extremely hostile with him when he attempted to discuss the incident, and the guest was threatened with eviction. Two guests cited that their credit card was automatically charged without their consent or knowledge. IF you do decide to stay here, use your credit card in case you need to dispute any charges.

Yelp
This place was cute...until my engagement ring was literally stolen from my room on 6/27/21. They told me there were no cameras in sight to try to help...? This ring has sentimental value to me and was a huge loss. If anyone has seen this ring, please let me know. There will be a major reward for the return of this ring. THANK YOU!

Yelp
I really wanted to like this place. But I don't do bugs in my bed I don't care what kind of bugs they are. We arrived, dropped our bags off and left for dinner. After the longest day ever we got back and ready for bed. I went to go lay down and noticed the bed had small bugs everywhere. Palm Springs gets bugs, I get that it can be a seasonal thing, but this wasn't just a few this was all over the bed, I posted a few photos but that doesn't even do it justice. All over the pillows, on the ground by the bed, too many for it to be ok. I called the front desk and they said that everyone left for the night and the best they can do is change the sheets. I asked if they had another room I could switch to and they said no. Changing the sheets would have been fine if it weren't for the fact that there were so many. There was no way I was going to sleep in this room peacefully. They said the only other option was we would need to find a new place and they would refund us. I frantically called around at 9:30pm to try and find a hotel that would have availability for the whole weekend and allowed dogs. Luckily I found another place however I ended up having to pay $900 more for a room. I never packed so quickly to get out of this room, it absolutely SUCKED having to pay an extra $900 for our trip. It was a pretty awful experience overall. I hope they do something about the bugs because I don't know that anyone that would have been ok with this situation.

Yelp
Holy moly. This hotel exceeded all expectations. Someone give Bernadette a raise because she was the kindest hostess a guest could ask for. The pool is beautiful and calming. She brought us otter pops and checked in on us regularly. They made sure we had ice water always available. The breakfast is generous and the decor is so thoughtful. We will 100% be back.

Yelp
Let's start with all the good, and then we will move on to the only negative part. Beautiful sanctuary, very relaxing, great decor, great fellow guests. Every team member we encountered was incredibly sweet and nice. The rooms very clean, The beds are very comfortable, The air conditioner in our room was fantastic (especially important when it's 115° outside). Terrific place to stay and highly recommend. The ONLY reason it is not getting five stars is below. They have this asinine antiquated rule of no outside alcohol. I get it, I understand the reasoning behind that rule, because you don't want people getting drunk and loud at the pool since this resort really tries to create a relaxing atmosphere. However, when you're dealing with responsible upscale adults, having that rule just seems like something from elementary school. Whatever consultant the owner spoke with who recommended implementing that rule was completely misguided. This is not a cruise ship, it's not an all inclusive resort, and if I want to have a bottle of wine in my room that I'm going to have a bottle of wine in my room. Here is the clincher. NOWHERE on their website is this policy disclosed prior to booking. In fact, I didn't know about this policy until I received an email 48 hours before my arrival. To make things more confusing, I received a second email 24 hours prior to my arrival where this policy was not listed. So I got one email saying no outside alcohol was allowed, I got a second email that didn't state anything about this policy, but when you check in they make you sign a paper that clearly outlines the no outside alcohol policy. The funnier thing is, everyone turns a blind eye to everyone who is bringing in outside alcohol. So, if you are not going to enforce a rule, then it simply doesn't need to exist. If you're reading this review dear owner, please consider deleting this policy from your paperwork. I'm sure upscale visitors like myself, as well as many other people would greatly appreciate not having to sneak around or be treated like people in high school.

Yelp
Oh my goodness, I'm at a loss for words! First off, everyone who works and stays at this adorable hotel is so extremely kind and friendly. Such a refreshing change to what I'm used to! Camila and Bernadette were the most pleasant and attentive hostesses ever, they made the staycation literally everything that I expected. They go above and beyond for the guests. Camila was so sweet to offer us iced coffee instead of the hot coffee because she understood it was too warm out! She is so warm and hospitable. Bernadette offered us otter pops and sparkling waters while we were in the pool and gave us great recommendations, she is such a ray of sunshine. I loved the complimentary breakfast baskets, it's such a thoughtful detail and so yummy! I also love how peaceful and relaxing the vibes are. Les Cactus is seriously a work of art, from the decor to the sleeping on a cloud like mattresses. You can tell how much detail and attention was put into this gem of a hotel. The staff and hosts do an incredible job at running Les Cactus. This hotel exceeded my expectations and I cannot wait to be back!

Yelp
My new favorite hotel!! From the moment I walked in to Les Cactus, I fell in love and right at home. Absolutely everything was incredible. The staff is nice, the rooms are beautiful and eclectic, and the daily breakfasts and snacks are amazing. I also LOVE how they have bikes you can borrow to explore around a bit! I'm so happy to have discovered Les Cactus and cannot wait to come back!!

Yelp
When they say room may vary from photos on the website, they mean it. If you decide to book the "comfortable" room for the higher price because you love the vaulted ceilings and the fireplace, just know not every "comfortable" room has either of those things. Our room felt like we were in a basement and the furniture was super cheap. No windows open and they're all frosted so it felt very claustrophobic in there. Pool is super quiet, which they advertise, but some kind of music would be nice. There is barely any glass surrounding the shower so it gets the entire floor wet when you shower. To spend $350 on one night to feel like you're staying in a slightly upscale motel 6 was disappointing and we won't be back.

Yelp
Im sure this isn't everyone's experience. But my experience is definitely worth a low review for the plethora of issues with my stay here. The lady at the front desk was very rude. Making snarking remarks when I spoke. She also illegally pressed me about my disability after being presented documentation for my well behaved service dog. The same woman then proceeded to illegally charge my girlfriends card for resort fees before disclosing that she was going to charge anything. That night the same woman lied to us stating that the hotel had no toiletries to give us after we requested a few things. After departing. My girlfriend and I were additionally charged $250. $200 of which went onto my card, however I never gave my card to put on file. I tried to pay for $50 worth of drinks, which somehow turned into $200 in "additional" charges. They also double charged my girlfriend for the same drinks I paid for separately. We will be disputing these charges and not coming back. It seems like one staff member specifically had an issue with us for some unexplained and undeserved reason.

Yelp
This place is nothing short of amazing! Initially I was a little nervous because the photos online were so cute I thought it was too good to be true, but it's even cuter in person. And secondly simple & very clean. Patty who checked us in was very nice, informative and friendly. They do not have a bar or anything but do sell canned wines and such. So it's very chill and relaxed. The pool was heated so I enjoyed it thoroughly after the outdoor temperature dropped. Close to Downtown Palm Springs so easy to order out or pop out for dinner. They also had extremely cute breakfast baskets. I am gluten free and was able to nibble on the oatmeal and enjoy the local honey provided with the basket.

Yelp
This was the worst customer relations experience I've ever had at a hotel. The woman who called to confirm our reservation was rude to us and 2 other couples . She even told a friend to "shut up". I was hoping to resolve that, and the fact that the room smelled like a sewer with management rather than writing a negative review. After a week I have not heard back. It was definitely not worth paying close to $1000 for.
