"This popular bistro, true to its name, serves a lovely, bouchon-style baba (shaped like a cork, courtesy of a dariole mould). It is nicely baked, soaked in Martinique rum syrup and cut in half." - The MICHELIN Guide

"In the heart of Ménilmuche, just beyond the boulevard, two partners have set up shop behind this colourful façade, formerly the site of the Bistrot Blanc Bec. The two cohorts have opted for a tried and tested formula: quintessential, traditional nosh, full of flavour and generosity. Competent, efficient service." - Michelin Inspector

Lovely dining experience with some delicious well-presented dishes. While some dishes were exceptional (the terrine, rabbit, and strawberry cake), others weren’t as impressive. The sea bass was fairly nondescript, and the rum baba was overpowering. However, the service was attentive and friendly, and we felt the value for money was excellent considering the area.

Amazing little restaurant serving traditional French cuisine. We came for dinner last week and would definitely come back again next time we come to Paris. Every dish done right, I especially liked my warm beef tongue appetizer, so much flavour and tender. We also ordered seabass, rumsteck, both were absolutely amazing in terms of taste and presentation. Desert and cheese completed our food journey of the night. Michelin guide didn’t disappoint.

A fantastic restaurant for a nice dinner. Highly recommend making a reservation. Staff are very friendly and make good recommendations. Wine selection is great, several options for various regions. All menu options from entrees, to main plats and desserts are fantastic. Well worth the money for a nice dinner. For two people, ordering a bottle of wine, entrees, plats, dessert, and coffee, it was about US$125.

Nice place with a good vibe. Service was impeccable and the waiters were very friendly. Most the food was very delicious but the desserts need to be improved. I don’t doubt that they can’t be improved, because I could see that the other dishes were simply amazing. Good place to have a good time with your friends.

Michelin recommended traditional cuisine - highly recommended. 3-course and a bottle of wine €39+€40 Exceptional service and unreal menu with exceedingly above average dishes. Modern twist to stew like/ traditional dish with impressive delivery. Do not believe any restaurant in town can beat its quality or price.

We visited here on a Thursday night. Although it was not too crowded, I would definitely recommend a reservation. The wait-staff were all very friendly, and service was excellent. The restaurant has an English pub feel to it and I would describe the food as French with English roots. We had almost everything on the fixed price menu and a couple items from the ala carte menu. The best was the beef tongue carpaccio and the Jerusalem artichoke soup. My favorite was the hare and liver pie which was incredibly rich with many subtle undertones. The rest of my family found it too rich. Everyone loved the farmer's pork loin. The desserts were all excellent although the sponge cake with Rhum syrup is no joke. My wife really loved the toasted brioche with caramel sauce and fleur de sel. Also, the chocolate cake was incredibly rich and velvety. For the fixed price of 37 Euro, I think you will be very hard pressed to find a better value in Paris.

The lunch menu was thr best-value meal I’ve had in my four weeks in Paris. Service is faultless, and both the food and the ambiance walk the fine line between tradition and modernity with grace. (Pictured: terrine du chèvre and andouillette). The little touches—a bit of pain du cochon, petit financiers—made a big difference. One of my top recommendations.
