Google
We really like “real” chocolate and this chocolatier has a good way of making fine little chocolates… they are infused with flavours instead of perhaps filling with something not chocolate. We were visiting from out of town and looked for a chocolatier. Not sure if we met the owner, but the lady who helped us was very friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our little bag of chocolates - we tried 8 different flavours. We also got a nice gift box of 9 chocolates to give away. This is definitely the kind of small business store worthy of support. Give it a try!

Google
Seriously, great chocolate, really as good as it gets. Made fresh, right there behind the counter. Comparable to the nice shops in Paris, Brussels or Rome. Priced reasonably with tons of flavors. Staff are pleasant and knowledgeable. Will be back next time in Montreal.

Google
An amazing little quiet place to get chocolates. The staff is quite friendly and welcoming, giving us suggestions and samples for us to try. That definitely helped us decide which truffle we should get. They all look wonderful and the ones we tried were pretty amazing. The truffles have such strong flavours, it's unexpected and delicious at the same time.

Google
This is my favorite chocolate store in Montreal. I love this place and I’m in here once a week. The tortelines, caramel crac and caramel bars are my favorites but everything is good.

Julia Zhu

Google
I like any flavor of ice cream 😆

Google
Good but I would not say the best chocolate in Montréal. Nice packaging makes it a good place to get a gift. It’s nice to see them making the chocolate right there too. The staff seemed a bit cool but it may have been they were busy.

Google
I only bought a couple of blocks of milk chocolate here and I regret it so much! I should’ve got more! It was so good! Blew my mind.

Google
A wonderful shop coming for souvenir gifts. Bonbons and chocolates are produced on location. The staff member who attended to me (the owner?) was kind enough to converse in slow French so that I could practice my language skills. We also hit it off for a good 10 minutes with other pleasant conversations where we compared living in Montreal, New York, and other parts of the world. All in good, a delightful experience that comes highly recommended

Yelp
This was a splendid little chocolate shop with bars, caramel, single pieces, and also options for you to build your own gift box or chocolate sampler. I liked that they were open a bit earlier on a weekday and a short walk from where I was staying on st Denis. The ladies were helpful and available to explain how things worked, and to put together some gifts for colleagues at work. I also picked up some single chocolates for myself, what a treat! I'm thinking about making a return visit for gifts when I go home!

Yelp
Like a scene straight out of a Christmas movie the location of @chocolatsdechloe is very fitting to enjoy a hot chocolate this time of year. That does add the overall spirit of the experience but does not enhance incredible, deep, luscious, intense chocolate flavour we throughly loved. The hot chocolate itself is made with minimum sweetness and served at perfect temperature to consume immediately; just absolutely wonderful top to bottom.

Yelp
Cute place with the best chocolates I've ever had. Got some of their seasonal Easter chocolates. Nice people too.

Yelp
I've never been in the store. I won some of their chocolates in a draw. They are really good. Very smooth and velvety and mouth watering. They were so good, I couldn't eat any other chocolate for a while because they were all inferior in comparison.

Yelp
I live in Texas and did a remote order for family living in Montreal -- I don't think I've ever had such a genuinely nice and heartwarming response to my difficult request. Although I haven't tasted them, if Chloe's chocolates are made with as much love and kindness as she exudes, then these must be the best chocolates in the world!

Yelp
Best ice cream I think I have ever had. You can taste the actual fresh ingredients. I had two flavors, mint and pistachio (actual nuts in the ice cream). Thank you for making such a wonderful product! Will definitely be back again and highly recommend everyone go there! The chocolates look good too. Next time.,,

Yelp
I've been lucky enough to receive Chloe's chocolates as gifts. The quality of their chocolate is excellent and I love so many of their flavors. My favourites are maple, passion fruit, sea salt and the hazelnut praline. You can also pick the chocolates you'd like when buying a box.

Yelp
This place is a lil hard to find but when you walk in the arrangement is absolutely beautiful. The store owners were super nice and could translate what the chocolates were because I can't read French lol. I picked up a matcha bar, some of the truffles, some dark chocolate covered honeycomb, and these super cute lil maple butter bunnies since it was almost Easter. After my purchase they gave me a lil sample of chocolate which is always nice too. I can see why my buddy recommended this place.

Yelp
A wonderful store. We were the first customers of the day (the owner was turning the lock just as we reached the door) and she welcomed us in as though we were long lost friends. If only my friends had such delicious chocolates to buy! We chose basil (that's right basil - and the hint of basil was fabulous) marzipan and something that's illegal in the US. Well we had to try that and it was great! If only we could remember the name. All our choices were fabulous! Artisanal shops like Chloé are part of what make cities worth living in. As long as Shops like Chocolat Chloé stay in business we'll keep coming back for more!

Yelp
This shop must be what heaven smells (and tastes) like. We were greeted by an adorable woman (I assume Chloe) who admitted her English wasn't great, but our French is way worse and she was just the cutest while communicating with us. We bought six bars to take back home with us, a bag of marshmallows and a truffle to go. No word on the bars yet, but the marshmallows were to die for and the truffle just melted in your mouth. After we dropped a small fortune in her shop (I fully expect it to be well worth it) she offered us another sample. I don't remember what flavor it was - praline maybe? - but it was amazing. Absolutely recommend this chocolate shop. Not just for the adorable owner, but the sweets as well!

Yelp
If you want to visit Heaven I've found the address and it's 546 Avenue Duluth. Walking into the shop you're immediately enveloped by a warm sweet aroma that makes you wish your house always smelt like this. You're unsure where to look because there are too many delicious treats to stare at! I had the wonderful pleasure of being assisted by the shop's namesake Chloe herself. She gave me a fresh cardamom chocolate which was absolutely brilliant. I picked up a sponge toffee and from Chloe's recommendation her masala chocolate bar. The sponge toffee is absolute perfection! Crispy and not too sweet, coated in a thing layer of chocolate. Now with the masala chocolate bar I was slightly suspicious....it just didn't make sense to me. All my worries were washed away after one bite of this chocolate bar. It was smooth and silky with light hints of different spices that were married into the milky sweet chocolate. Beyond the delicious treats, the experience in the store is very pleasant. Chloe is such a delight and it's very nice to see the pride she runs her shop with. All of the staff is warm and genuinely just happy (this is why it's Heaven!) So here it is! If you want to be happy and treat yourself then this is your place. For the love of all that is good please come and feast! Next up for me is the caramel and hot chocolate!

Yelp
A friend had recommended I stop by Les Chocolats de Chloé when my hubby and I were in Montreal. As it turns out, the shop was within walking distance of our hotel, Auberge de La Fontaine. I took it as a sign from the Universe that I was meant to buy chocolate :-) My hubby and I dropped by one morning and we were literally the first customers of the day. The lovely shopkeeper walked us through their intriguing selection, and we ended up choosing basil, marzipan, and a third kind of chocolate made from a bean whose name I can't recall but that is not available in the U.S. Part of the reason I wanted to buy chocolate was to use up our Canadian currency, and without my asking the thoughtful shopkeeper gave us change in small denominations so we could tip the cleaning staff at our hotel. I wish Les Chocolats de Chloé was in my hometown!

Yelp
I consider myself a chocolate connoisseur. When I travel (abroad or at home in the states), I sample the local artisan chocolates everywhere I go. Specifically, I look for a chocolatier who makes fresh truffles, who knows how to do dark chocolate (it should never be bitter and should never be over-sweetened or over-powered with vanilla, and who is creative and careful with natural flavors. A friend recommended that I stop by Les Chocolats de Chloe. It was my overall second favorite chocolatier of my trip to Montreal (out of 5). However, I think Chloe does a unique and specific job with flavors that puts these chocolates near number one for creativity. This is a wonderful, small chocolatier. The flavored truffles are wonderfully subtle; the ganache and flavors are carefully blended. The dark chocolate is subtle, not too sweet, and not at all bitter. The basil truffle and earl grey truffles were lovely. The ganache is a bit tangy, which I find in a lot of British chocolates and don't love. However, the tangy flavor isn't overpowering and is more subtle in some of these truffles over others. I loved that it took a moment for the flavor of basil and Earl grey to sink into my taste buds before I could recognize them. These are truly fun to eat. And the chocolate is a work of art.

Yelp
This chocolate shop is the ABSOLUTE BEST in the city, if not the world! The prices reflect the quality, but it's well worth it. I've been visiting this shop (in its old and now newer location) for over ten years and the quality has always been beyond outstanding. Do yourself a favour and just try their chocolates. They also have an absolutely delicious caramel spread that is beyond delicious. You'll want to eat it directly out of the jar. Once you visit Les Chocolats de Chloe -- you'll be counting down the hours, minutes and seconds until your next trip.

Yelp
Happened upon this shop in my wanderings and had to step inside. Really cute shop with lots of options. I had to buy a fleur de sel truffle and was given a fig and balsamic one, gratis. Flavor explosion. The perfect bite and everything I could have wanted. Some really neat flavor profiles as well- I want to come back and try them all! The woman who runs the shop is really nice and is willing to explain everything about her wares. I could kick myself for not buying a box to take home

Yelp
The chocolates are delicious looking and tasting! You can tell there is an artist's mind behind the flavor combinations and decor.

Yelp
Great chocolates with outrageous selection of flavors, great packaging (done there by the nicest lady). Cute place, small but very neat and you can see the chocolates making area in the back. Oh one more thing, smells really really good in there.

Yelp
The chocolate here is fantastic and such high quality. I've never been to the store, but my amazing bf has sent me 2 boxes of chocolates from this place over the past couple of years. Each bite is such a treat. If you're looking for great gift ideas, I would definitely recommend surprising someone with their box of chocolates.

Yelp
By far the best caramel in town. I went in with a friend of mine a few years ago, and I became enchanted with it ever since. I have tried all their chocolates and given them as gifts to my loved ones over the years. These all have resulted in the same expression: wow! Where did you get this from?! I have to admit though that my favorite of all time remains to be their caramel. It has always added a touch of oomph to certain cold winter days. Perfect to be mixed with sour granny Smith apples. If you go in the store, make sure to check out their phenomenal prince charming painting. It put a smile on my face the first time I saw it.

Yelp
I simply cannot give this lovely little chocolate shop a high enough review. This is 5 stars PLUS all the way. This is a lovely little shop in a cute neighborhood, pure Quebec. It also sells some of the best chocolates I have ever had. I wish I had brought more back home. If you love chocolate and you are in Quebec, you MUST go here. Magnifique!!!

Yelp
Love this place! Very cute logos and designs on their chocolate products. It's very fun and cute. They are EXPENSIVE but really worth it. I bought a masala, milk chocolate, and almond bars and they were ALL so good. I remember buying a regular but not too large bar for 6 dollars. You can definitely taste the quality in their chocolates. The shop is small, quaint, and very hidden. it's not on main street of Saint Denis but rather in like an "alleyway". Anyway, they sell fresh chocolates, and bars and I believe hot chocolate? I need to double check on that. i remember them selling chocolate drinks....but might be wishful thinking. If you want quality chocolates. check out this place.

Yelp
Tiny shop located on Duluth, that offers a pretty good variety of chocolate. Great selection of interesting flavors that you can purchase individually or in a box. You can select your own flavors, as well as the number per box - the minimum starts at 6 for $12. You can also find delicious brownies, candied ginger, chocolate bars, hot chocolate and pastilles. Definitely worth the trip!

Yelp
My second trip to montreal but made sure to come here again. The storefront is unassuming so pay attention or you might walk right past it. I always get their choc dipped orange peel sticks. Along with their window display of single chocs, they sell mini-bags of various chocs.

Aaisha S.

Yelp
So good! I searched the blog-o-sphere high and low for a 'go to' chocolate shop for my visit to Montreal and kept coming back to Chloe's Chocolates. I have to say... there's a reason why this shop is so popular. Their chocolates were wonderful. Some were a bit lack luster, but most were wonderful. Enjoyed - raspberry, honey, orange, pistachio, caramel, coffee, praline. Would pass next time - plain truffle, earl grey Each piece was $1.65 and they had some pre-packed packages of 4 for $5. Totally worth it. The shop itself is in such a cute neighborhood. It completely made our trip.

Velma D.

Yelp
delicious, verging on too delicious!! Intriguing flavor combinations, and pretty much everything makes a terrific gift. But what takes it into 5-star territory for me (I'm a tough grader) is the artisinal vibe of this place - clearly these are chocolates made with love. wisdom and creative flair. And business sense - they aren't cheap. but you can buy in really small quantities if you want to, they will gift wrap pretty much anything. Look out for the spiced hot-chocolate mixes.

Xin H.

Yelp
My friend and I were so lucky to happen to stay near this lovely, wonderful shop. The chocolates are absolutely delicious, interesting, and reasonably priced for such high, handmade quality. The women who work there are very warm and friendly. I brought back some of their chocolates for my office, and they were gone in a flash.

Vida E.

Yelp
Amazing little chocolate shop. They sell their chocolates as well as their chocolate bars. Everything they make is absolutely amazing. My only regret is that we didn't buy more!

Aubrey L.

Yelp
These little chocolates were amazing and I would definitely go back for more. I wish I had gotten more because I couldn't resist eating mine. Chloe was also so helpful to us clueless tourists and gave us the best dinner and brunch recommendations. People in Montreal are so friendly and I loved the small boutique feel of the shop. Try the fleur de sel, the passion-fruit, and the turtles.

S, B.

Yelp
Top quality local chocolate shop with very innovative flavours. Everything I have had here has been great and really nicely presented. So nice to see such a small, independent business with such top quality products - highly recommended!

Tom S.

Yelp
we used to have a place in montreal and chloe was right around the corner. she makes really good chocolate, has a great flair for flavor and presentation, and i very proud of her work. i would give her crap all the time--how small the chocolate was, the price, the lack of samples. she would come back with her own crap, because she knows her chocolate is good and that i will pay any price for it. there should be a chloe shop on every corner of town, but that would mean that there were enough people willing to work and do a solid job and be a bright, shining star of the community. i recommend a little of everything chocolate, plus throw in some of her caramel, too. but if you think chocolate and basil are not a good pairing, maybe you should try some. or the chocolate with pepper. try something new and enjoy because that taste is going to be on your palate for about 20+ minutes. miss you, chloe.
