Les Cochons Tout Ronds

As good or better than any artisanal dried sausages we’ve had in France, Italy, and Spain. And we make rather a habit of those when traveling, haha. The dried morcilla was revolutionary. And all the others were so delightful! Go, go, go!

Stopped by there today with my girlfriend. Very great customer service. Helped us find exactly what we like. The meats are very high quality and tasty. Even bought some to give as gifts. Will be back for sure.

I discovered this place when they set up a stand at the One of a Kind show in Toronto and liked them enough to check them out again when I visited Montreal this year. They make really good hard salami....excellent for appetizers!

Oh boy did we get some delicious cured meat at this little shop! Get some bread, a little fruit, a taste of cheese, and then stop by Les Cochons Tout Ronds for some salumi, and you're all set!

Tried six different charcuterie as part of a food tour, all were good but the figatelli was fantastic.

Some of the best bacon and cured meats i ever had, this is a must for anyone visiting the market.

Located inside the Marche Jean Talon, you'll find it next to the oyster bar and near the popsicle stand. Coming from Rue Jean Talon, it was a shop we passed by upon entrance as we made our way toward the produce section. We ended our day a bit early and decided to do a wine night. What's a wine night without something to munch on?! My friend and I bought cheese and olives, but thought charcuterie would make this snack complete for the evening. We chanced upon the stand and upon closer inspection of the offerings, there were a few things of interest. They had a special price for the Creton terrine that evening, but we were more interested in cured meats instead of terrines. I was interested in something that was comparable to prosciutto, but unfortunately, it was only sold in bulk. Since we wanted something a little lighter, we settled on Coppa. Since we were unsure of how many ounces, the guy at the counter helped us ration out our portion based on how many slices we could eat. That was much easier to figure out, so we settled on 10 slices total. Custom packed and purchased, it was a nice addition to the evening. Should have found this sooner! They had other great selections such as Chorizo, Bacon, Salami and Figatelli. The terrines also looked yums, but it would have been too much to split between the two of us. Still, worth a look or stop by!

Mon saucisson préféré de Montreal! Visite obligatoire à chaque passage au marché Jean Talon. Le figatelli est un must à chaque fois et je le termine en 2 soirs maximum. Comme il est un peu épicé les enfants sont pas fans et j'ai même pas besoin de partager ;) généralement je prends une autre sorte aussi... suis quand même pas si méchante! Le traditionnel ou alors parfois ils en ont des saisonniers. Vraiment super fan, dommage qu'ils vendent que a 2 endroits dans Montréal, j'en achèterai encore plus souvent!

Pigs..Pigs...and more Pigs... I love Les Cochons Tout Ronds which is located inside Marche Jean-Talon. Free samples on top of the counter always appreciate.. I silently tried out quite a few of the cured meat they offers. Proscuitto, dry curd sausage, coppa, lonzo, terrine and much more. Great to pick up some for a picnic in the park or just to snack on. minimum of 100 g, with pate starting at around $2. We ended up getting Lonzo and Pate for our little feast back in the hotel!

Excellent!!! Excellent service !! Excellent samples !! Excellent product!! When it's that good, no need to write more!!! Grab a loaf of crusty bread, then get yourself some great dried meats and you'll be in heaven!!!

I love love love this little charcuterie booth. I've only tried the dry cured sausages so far, but they've all been phenomenal (several are seasonal, which is cool). I would recommend the L'akota and the forestierto anyone. The figatelli is really delicious if you're a foodie, but the flavour of the organ meats does come through so I might shy away from recommending it to cautious eaters. The staff is extremely helpful and willing to let you try anything and explain the ingredients that go into them. They also offer other cured meats, pate, terrines and fresh sausages such as boudins that I can't wait to sample on future visits. I doubt I will ever get through a visit to Marché Jean-Talon without a purchase from them, and I wouldn't want to!
