Les Délices d'Aphrodite

Without previous experience in Greek gastronomy I would say that regardless it's truthful kitchen it is delicious. As a starter they always serve a greek side salad and you choose something to accompany with it. Each starter was 12€ and really worth it since it comes with bread. If you're hungry, ordering one of this will open your stomach for more. We ordered 1-Prasino Taboulé & Melitzanosalata and 2-Ktipiti & Kokkines Piperies sti schara. Definitely our favourite was the second choice although the first one was really fresh and the eggplant sauce was amazing. Following those we ordered Giouvetsi and the Moussaka mé lachana. They were good and the portion size is good enough to make you feel reaaaally full. All the service cost 70€ in total (35€/person). The service was attentive and polite. They took into account the time destined for each table without pushing anyone and the time between the starters and the main dish was well controlled. Those details push the whole experience to a higher level.

Excellent food, very good service. Appetizers were quite a bit better than the main, so I suggest having family-style appetizers and following up with shared dessert. In our case, we had the traditional yogurt with honey.

Great Greek food. We had the plate with 4 cold and 6 warm mezzes. They could've told us one to share with two people probably would've been enough (which it would've been!). Because two of those dishes was way to much. But very good quality food. Even better then I had in most restaurants in Greece.

A little too expensive for the quality of the food and wine. The one single restroom there was in poor condition. Staff was not attentive enough.

We came before the restaurant opened and Vasilis welcomed us with a friendly attitude. The food was exquisite, and the restaurant vibes is homie.

A colleague of mine, who is Greek, recommended this place. The dishes taste homey, with a touch of elegance. Our favorites: * Kalamaria ghemista (squid stuffed with small vegetables, spinach, and rice) * Oktapodi sto tigani (pan-fried octopus with tomatoes and parsley) * Souvlaki kotopoulo (chicken souvlaki) * Moussaka (eggplant and lamb casserole) * Kataifi (vermicelli-like pastry) The restaurant space is pretty small though. We had a table for five, in a space that is ideal for three or four. We ordered many dishes, and they barely fit on the table. We could only take about two dishes at a time. The back of my chair was butting up against the next table. The bathroom setup is awkward (1 star off). To enter the bathroom, you have to squeeze by a table with guests enjoying their dinner, go up a few steps, and enter an area with a urinal. The women's bathroom is located past the urinal, i.e. women need to walk past the urinal in order to use the toilet. After finishing using the toilet, walking back to my table, I was crossing my fingers that I wouldn't accidentally walk past someone using the urinal...

I'm not very well-versed in Greek food, but the service was great and all the dishes were yummy. I had mousaka- which I've never had before. It was very good- a little like the sauce/meat of spaghetti but with veggies and a pastry around it. (Sorry for my very Caucasian connection). I thought it was very good (much better than spaghetti, but you get my drift). And dessert was something "les cheveux des anges " (angel hair) with honey and nuts- very good, I don't remember the name.

Fab (but spendy) Greek food in Paris. Here's a perfect example of why Paris is such an international city. There are so many non-French restaurants to choose, we landed here based on the recommendation of a friend. Americans, some of us like to eat just a little early. So when we arrived at 6:45 (that's early?), the restaurant hadn't yet opened. They were busy setting tables and getting ready, so they let us stand outside in the rain while we waited. Good times. I was sorely tempted to find another restaurant nearby as this one apparently didn't want the business. Eventually, we were seated and didn't realize until the place started to get a little busy that the table was the nearest to the loo ("bathroom" in American). Yep, back on the left are five steep steps leading to a door. So most of the night I got to worry whether or not someone was going to fall and land on top of me. Not very ADA-compliant, eh? Anyway, the food. Greek food is Greek food around the world, but we let the waiter lead us to an appetizer featuring 8 little nibbles of things - hummus, roasted peppers, pickled mushrooms, tzadziki, with a basket of little pita breads. An excellent starter, which we enjoyed with the recommended €35 bottle of Greek wine. For mains, souvlaki for some and lamb chops for others, both were absolutely excellent. The tomato/eggplant on the side was nice and spicy, I ended up chasing most of it around the plate to soak it up with bits of pita. For dessert, we had the requisite baklava. Again excellent. And I tried something completely different, "Féta mé rigani". A Greek take on the classic cheese plate, this was two large pieces of feta cheese with a small bit of salad leaves tossed in olive oil and herbs. Excellent mean, excellent service, very delicious. I'd just recommend making sure you arrive *after* they open.

We enjoyed a non French meal here a week ago, unfortunately we arrived about 15 minutes before they actually opened ...it was raining..we had to wait outside while they mopped the floor and set the tables...really now get GRIP...otherwise it was excellent but definately $$$...

Like any major metropolitan city, Paris is filled with wonderful ethnic restaurants, and Les Delices is no exception. Yes, it's crowded. Yes, it's maybe a little more expensive than you'd expect. But the quality is outstanding. Try one of the great entree plates to share to get you started. The eggplant caviar is brilliant, as are the calamari. The chicken was terrific -- it was too hot in July for lamb.

The stars war is very hard on Qype, and this restaurant don't win the war of the quality/price. I advise you : - the aubergine dip / eggplant caviar as starter (8,50EUR) - Pasta with mint and pork - greek bread Don't Do eat it : - The moussaka, lack of taste - discovring plate : expensive, only 4 samples in a small plate for 23EUR - Wine : expensive and realy discusting ! Ask for the menu which is a good compromise. It just a show in your plate, not in your purse nor with the waiter. Oil used a lot, not diet cook, but vegetarian one available. So sometime in your visit to Paris you will get tired of French food. I mean, why is it that every restaurant seems to have exactly the same menu? Is it my lousy French that just makes them seem the same? Or is there a grand French menu conspiracy? ANYWAY When that moment hits make a beeline for this quiet greek restaurant and have the BEST meal in Paris you can have (not eating French food). The staff was wonderful and we enjoyed the outdoor seating on a quiet side street, but the five stars are for the food - from entrees like dolmas, melitzanoslata to the main plats (we both had seafood) everything was incredible. Truly a great evening

A superb mixture of French and Greek cuisine served in a stylish environment. Although on the pricey side this restaurant is well worth the money especially if you take the lunch menu at 20EUR. I can't wait to go back.
