"Much like the artist Corot, who painted the neighbouring ponds, Rémi Chambard turns to nature and produce from Île-de-France for inspiration when it comes to cooking. He proposes a single set menu that showcases the region by highlighting the different villages from which he sources his ingredients from Meaux to Choisy-le-Roi. He also personally undertakes what he calls his "urban harvest" in the King's Kitchen Garden in Versailles. This virtuoso chef, an alumnus of some renowned establishments, relishes working with vegetables and plants (as well as other ingredients). His fresh, delicate repertory is artistically exquisite: trout, sorrel, finger lime; mushrooms, Agastache leaves, confit of onions; duck, cherries and courgettes. Cannot recommend this hotel enough! Such a well managed, clean and tasteful little hotel! The rooms are well decorated and very comfortable! The restaurants were spectacular! Such great value for the quality of stay and service! The hotel staff are all so friendly and welcoming! For those who want to get away from Paris, this is a perfect spot. 15 mins away from Versailles as well!

Absolutely perfect!|The hotel is very comfortable. Our room was large and beautifully decorated with a view over the pond. The Corot restaurant was sublime and the service was superb. Breakfast in our room was delightful and we had another splendid dinner in the bistro. Definitely a 10/10 stay. Would highly recommend!

What a pleasant surprise. On arrival the first impression is less than impressive. That all changes the moment you step in through the front door. The most friendly people . I forgot to book an early checking and arrived after a 12 hour flight at 9am. They went out of their way to find me a room even though the check in was only in the afternoon. The hotel is built up against a forest and a large pond. Very serene environment. The rooms are large, tastefully decorated and have good linen and large bed. Their restaurant is very comfortable and the continental breakfast more than adequate. Definitely a lively place to stay and you will not be disappointed.

What a treat! This place is a delight, close by Paris, facing the forest and the pound. We also booked a table at the restaurant Corot. Delicious food, seasoned and local, ideal to discover the culinary terroir. For our second visit, and first time after the fully renewed hotel, spa and restaurant, we were delighted by the general taste, always elegant, warm and cosy. Can’t wait to come back!

Beautiful hotel, nice food and decorated with an eye for detail. This is the place to be if you want to spoil and impress your partner. The hotel is situated near a lake and is ideal for a morning or evening walk.

An amazing place to relax at only 20 min drive from the Eiffel Tower. A piece of heaven few minutes from the crazy Paris ring (Périphériques). The hotel is very nice, the garden amazing and the food is good with a Bistro and a gourmet restaurant. A must to try if you want the best of both world, Paris and the countryside. A special thanks to Romain who is extremely nice and helpful when it comes to service. He goes the extra mile to make your stay unforgettable.

We were delighted with our stay at Les Etangs de Corot. The quality of the food served at breakfast and the three dinners we had at Le Café des Artistes was superb. The reservation staff were very attentive and helpful and the daily room preparation excellent. Our room no. 400 was a little small for a couple staying for more than one night, but as it was the only room available when we booked we had no other choice. Overall, our impression with this hotel, it's staff and facilities was excellent, as described in this survey.

In addition, apparently the breakfast included made to order items if you ask, we weren’t made aware of this by the staff at the restaurant, only at checkout when asked if anything could have been better.
