Les Flots

"This picturesque 19C blue and white house stands on the boulevard that skirts the immense beach. Take a seat in a contemporary dining room overlooking the sea and dig into beautifully presented super-fresh fish and shellfish platters, the establishment’s pride and joy. We stayed at this hotel last night and it was fantastic. The lady who greeted us was 1st class, the room was spotlessly clean, the views are amazing, the man who prepared our bill was perfect at customer service. The management have got the model right. Thank you for an amazing stay, we will definitely be returning.

We were fully satisfied with rooms and breakfast in this hotel. You are allowed with dogs and this is super important! Stuff speaks English!! Just great! Rooms with sea view are fine. Parking around hotel is pretty complicated. You could park at train station. There you will find a place. Breakfast was good, croissants are very buttery and really tasty. Different jams, cheeses. Warm bread, fruits juices coffee and tea. In one word everything you need for nice breakfast.

Staff could have been more helpful, our room was standard very small no storage no kettle for making drinks, they didn't let us walking through the restaurant to the bar, so we had to use the other entrance, we wouldn't stay there again.

Extremely good value for the 35€ dinner. All 3 courses were delightfully cooked and presented, wine recommendation was spot on. Thought they were obviously short staffed, the waiter were attentive and polite. Booking recommended.

This hotel is a one-man show. The guy from the reception basically takes care of everything, including breakfast. He was super friendly, very patient and service-oriented, but the lack of staff / organisation unfortunately makes everything very slow, especially the awaiting time during breakfast. Although more staff was available during our stay, we had the impression they had no idea what they were doing except from hanging around and pressing oranges. The view from the room was splendid (direct view on the sea). Rooms: modern, practical altough they could be better cleaned (fingertips on the window). However, you pay for the location, but not for the service. Price quality ratio is definitely not in balance. Unfortunately, no private parking available. You need to park your car in the town, which is free of charge, but more complicated during the season. The beach in front of the hotel was large and nice, but avoid the nearby beach bar: unfriendly staff and lack of efficiency.unfriendly

My husband and I stayed here for a couple of nights on our way to Bordeaux and were really impressed with the location and style of the hotel. There is no hotel parking, but a lot of spaces around the adjacent roads, so a little difficult for dropping off bags, but we nearly always got near the hotel.||Our room faced the beach and had a little balcony on the front. The room was very modern and was a good size, same with the bathroom. Breakfast was simple, but very tasty. And the reception staff were very helpful, even with our limited French.||||The little town of Chatelaillon-Plage is equally as lovely and we had many great meals while we were there and found it a great base for exploring other nearby islands and towns. The region is definitely worth a visit and if you like mussels - this is the place to come!

Very caring staff, making sure the customer is enjoying his dinner. One of our 2 kids decided to be quite active and not staying still, unfortunately for us and the other customers, hence i stayed apart in a living area with my active kid for quite some time, the dedicated staff offered to serve me there and my husband as well so that we could finish our dinner together. Much appreciated. Food was very good as usual.
