Les Folies

It's the first time that I've had a savoury crepe and I really liked it, it also comes with a mini salad. The sweet crepe that I have ordered I have mixed feelings, it's almost great but the pears that they've used is quite hard to chew so it did kinda spoiled the experience for me. The price is a little bit expensive, btw. As for the place, it's retro themed with different ornaments on the walls. It's clean and even though they only have 2 staffs at the time, the serving is fast and the waiter is attentive. I would come back and try another sweet crepe given the chance and by then hopefully I can give the restaurant more stars.

We waited a while for our food. Other than that, taste was great. They have home made kombucha... Fresh fruit... Omelet was really good.

Great place for brunch and drinks! Our brunch was freshly made to perfection. We enjoyed our fresh lemonade. Everything was delicious!

Very good chicken and avocado burger. Great terasse and sangrilla. Nothing bad to say but expect the food and ambiance of a hip retro diner.

Great atmosphere, great brunchmenu and very good value for the size of plates. Highly recommended.

Where: Les Folies - Montreal What: A small restaurant on Mont-Royal How was it: this place was really good, from service to the ambiance and food. The waitress was super deficient and not sure if she tells everyone that they have great timing when they receive their food quickly but we still appreciate it. We were kind of sceptical before going in but one quick Google review check up gave us confidence. Now we want to tell others about our experience. Grade: Eli = 5, Serge = 5 Recommend: Yes, it's a nice area to visit. If you plan to walk in the plateau and are looking for a nice restaurant this place is breakfast approved for discovering destinations !

Had an amazing waitress. She was nice and thoughtful. The food was food...but what really got me were the crepes ! Delicious ! The only downside is the temperature (I was freezing the whole time). Since this is a very small restaurant, we are really, really seated near other customers. Also everytime the door opens it sends a winter breeze inside that take over the whole place.

Went there for brunch. The plates are relatively inexpensive, but it is reflected in your dish. e.g: normally when I go out for brunch and ask for a basic plate, i don't know of any place where the includes toasts don't come in a pair. I have now found that place where you get one toast. The service was good and the waitress very patient during this packed hour.
