On our way to Paris, we decided to stop at this cozy French cuisine restaurant, Les Gamins. The place has a warm, inviting atmosphere and a concise one-page menu with well-crafted dishes.
We opted for the weekend three-course menu. To start, we had orange-braised endives with miso celeriac cream and green salsa—beautifully balanced and full of flavor. The main course was a pork pluma cut with chorizo butter jus and mashed potatoes, rich and perfectly executed.
We finished with an out-of-the-ordinary dessert: spice cake with caramelized pumpkin, muscovado siphon, and spice-cake ice cream—an excellent and memorable ending.
The owners personally served our table and made sure we were well advised among the many wine options, which added a very personal touch to the experience. For me, this was a 5 out of 5 experience.
