The food was tasty and the natural ambiance was very nice. Unfortunately, the waiter we had was really rude. Even after we tried to be as respectful as we could with asking if he spoke English and thanking him for trying to help us in our own language, he came back over to our table and said, "Do you know where you are? You're in France. Speak French," and then walked away. It felt needlessly aggressive, and put us on edge for the rest of the meal.
So, if you don't mind the "rude French waiter" cliché, it's a pretty place to eat. A bit expensive for what you get, but not bad, and the wine list is great. But, especially given that just about every other restaurant experience I've had in Aix has been delicious, had a beautiful setting, and have had incredibly gracious waiters who are patient with English speakers who are genuinely trying to speak the language (where I am clear to thank them for having put either effort into having learned English), I personally won't be returning to this restaurant again. My money is better spent elsewhere for a better experience.
