Unfortunately quite a poor experience for a 5 star hotel, far from a western 5 star level.
Firstly, the check in was quite strange. We gave the passports (we had already did a full pre-checkin online to save time) and we were walked with no explanation to the bar where we sat and no one greeted us or came to serve us. We had a massage booked in 20mins (which they clearly were not aware of at reception) so we stood up and asked the receptionist to please walk us to our room. He said we should get a welcome drink, we asked if we could get it in the room which they agreed to, but it never came. They also didn't give our passports back and said we could pick them back after, which is far from optimal really.
Secondly, and most notably, the massage was horrible. The masseuse was sick and kept coughing and sniffing all the massage which made it impossible to relax. To finish it off, when they finished they turned on a bright light without warning, such a bad ending.
Lastly, there's no elevator for the room (I don't mind but FYI in case you need it), there was a water leak in the bathroom, and there's no room service at night (which is a requirement for a 5 star internationally).
Good things: the neighbourhood is really nice, the hotel is beautiful, they left rose petals on the bed, and the breakfast is decent (not great though).
