Les Jardins de la Médina (Marrakech, Morocco) Verified Reviews | Tablet Hotels

"Originally a 19th-century palace in the Kasbah district, Les Jardins de la Médina has evolved from a private residence into one of Marrakech’s most tranquil boutique stays. Its rooms and suites open onto lush gardens planted with ancient palms and citrus trees, where hammocks and hidden corners invite long afternoons. The architecture remains traditional with adobe walls, shaded patios, carved woodwork, but the mood is relaxed and unpretentious. Some rooms come with solariums or fireplaces, others with garden views. Just beyond the door: the Saadian Tombs, the souks, and the pulse of the medina." - Tablet Hotels

Les Jardins de la Medina | Best places to stay in Marrakech

"This lovely riad set in lush gardens in the southern part of the Medina is a tasteful mix of Moroccan style and modern comfort. The bright, light-filled rooms are spacious and stylish with all mod cons, including satellite TV and Wi-Fi. Gusts can relax around a lovely pool and in the superb spa (including a hammam). The excellent cuisine here is Moroccan and international, with French and Moroccan wines. It’s convenient for several top sights, but a fair stroll to the main square and souks. " - Mandy Sinclair

This is a lovely hotel with excellent staff and great service. The breakfast in particular is fantastic. The rooms and lovely and the pool is beautiful. It's right in the old part of the city so it's great location. There are a couple of small downsides mostly with the room I stayed in. It seemed to be close to some kind of generator that kept going on and off during the night which was very annoying. Also bed wasn't the most comfortable (partially because it was two single beds joined) but still fine.

A beautiful oasis amongst the city walls.. the room was perfect, plenty of space, comfortable, spotlessly clean and the room service was fantastic. All the staff are so polite and helpful, the experience was like sharing with a family.. And the ladies in the spa were just perfect, fabulous at their profession. Thank you to all as we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back. Penny and Mark UK

The most amazing stay - one of the best places I’ve ever stayed!! Before arriving we asked the riad if they could arrange a taxi to meet us at the airport which they happily arranged. As soon as we got out the airport our driver was there to meet us. Once we reached the riad we were greeted with welcome drinks and snacks, and asked to choose a scent for them to spray on our pillows every night - the small touches make the biggest difference! The room itself was spacious, clean, the quality of the bedding was amazing - just overall gorgeous! The riads grounds were lovely and clean - very tranquil pool and bar area, very relaxing! We also ate in the restaurant for breakfast and dinner and the food was stunning. All the staff were absolutely amazing and couldn’t do enough for you! Truly a brilliant stay - if we ever went back to a marakech we would only stay here - if you’re thinking of booking this riad just do it - you won’t regret it!

Excellent hotel, was a great place to stay for our city break. Well located - just a 20 minute stroll to the main square and once away from the busy main road the streets were not busy but it felt safe.|The hotel itself has beautiful gardens next to a good pool. The atmosphere is calm and quiet away from the bustle of the city centre.|Our room was delightful, spacious and well serviced and the restaurant food was excellent, so much so we had dinner here on two nights.|Finally the staff were wonderful, attentive and welcoming and always with a smile.

Les Jardins de la Médina – An Oasis of Calm in the Heart of Marrakech Les Jardins de la Médina is truly an oasis of tranquility right in the heart of the bustling Médina. Everything is within walking distance, yet once inside, you’re surrounded by peace and beauty. The hotel blends traditional Moroccan charm with understated elegance. The inner courtyard is absolutely stunning — lush gardens with beautifully integrated seating areas and a large, sun-drenched swimming pool create the perfect place to relax after exploring the city. The rooms are spacious and beautifully decorated, each with its own private terrace and even a rooftop sun deck. Every detail has been thought of to ensure guests feel not just welcome, but truly special. From the warm and attentive reception to the serene atmosphere, Les Jardins de la Médina is a hidden gem — a genuine oasis of calm and comfort in the heart of Marrakech.

We were advised by Trail Finders that this was a very nice Riad in the Medina. We stayed there for three nights, to say it was very nice is certainly an 'understatement'. It is a fantastic place to stay. Yes the Medina is chaos in many areas, as soon as you walk through the front door of Les Jardins de las Medina a calm and tranquil atmoshere surrounds you, especially as you receive such a warm and friendly greeting from all the staff. The facilities and ambience of the whole place is unbeleivable luxury and exquisite style, ecen the resident tortoises wandering around the place did so leisurely. Highlight was the great restaurant in this Riad, varied menu and very high standard of meals beautifully served by most helpful staff.

Perfect hotel, great location and service was 10/10. The hotel ground are stunning, pool is spacious and the perfect place to relax after exploring. Ate at the restaurant on several occasions - lots of variety and good service. Room was spacious and bed comfy. Spa was fantastic - the best massage ive had. Do not hesitate to book, its worth every penny!

Unfortunately quite a poor experience for a 5 star hotel, far from a western 5 star level. Firstly, the check in was quite strange. We gave the passports (we had already did a full pre-checkin online to save time) and we were walked with no explanation to the bar where we sat and no one greeted us or came to serve us. We had a massage booked in 20mins (which they clearly were not aware of at reception) so we stood up and asked the receptionist to please walk us to our room. He said we should get a welcome drink, we asked if we could get it in the room which they agreed to, but it never came. They also didn't give our passports back and said we could pick them back after, which is far from optimal really. Secondly, and most notably, the massage was horrible. The masseuse was sick and kept coughing and sniffing all the massage which made it impossible to relax. To finish it off, when they finished they turned on a bright light without warning, such a bad ending. Lastly, there's no elevator for the room (I don't mind but FYI in case you need it), there was a water leak in the bathroom, and there's no room service at night (which is a requirement for a 5 star internationally). Good things: the neighbourhood is really nice, the hotel is beautiful, they left rose petals on the bed, and the breakfast is decent (not great though).
