Google
Favorite pho spot in Connecticut, hands down. I got the regular beef pho and added crispy tofu on the side, everything was so flavorful and comforting. Their chili oil is a total game changer😱, and the dumplings were perfectly done. I even came right after a dentist appointment, still in pain, and the food still tasted amazing. That’s how good this place is. A little gem I appreciate so much.

Google
The chicken wings were SO GOOD, skin was crunchy and meat was juicy. Spring rolls were also pretty good, but are on the smaller side. Pho was tasty, not upset about it. Service for us (specifically) was SLOW, granted we were a “bigger” group but people who had just arrived had an app and entree before we did. Also, there is a sign stating a group of 6 people and over have gratuity included on their check, the server counted our 1 year old as a person..

Google
Vietnamese coffee -new to me and delicious! Steamed dumplings- fresh oh so fresh and tasty Pho -holy cow. Best Pho I’ve ever had. I had it with their rare beef but the grilled beef was incredible and perfectly seasoned. Everything about this place is incredible. Also, it’s BYOB!

Google
I come here once in a while because its a special treat for myself and my family. The food is delicious, especially the Pho Chicken! Their housemate limeade is undeniable as well! Today I dropped in and brought home the best lunch!

Google
Pho Vietnam makes the best shaken beef in my opinion. But when you’re craving it on a Monday and the other place is closed, then this is my second choice. It’s good. But the sauce isn’t the same, and the beef here is a bit chewy. But it satisfies the appetite. Also, I asked for extra sauce on the beef and was charged extra. Who does that? Last time it was really dry, so I figured extra sauce won’t hurt.

Google
My husband found this spot for lunch after a doctors appt. He the Pho special. He said it was delicious. The shrimp/chicken spring rolls were fresh and delicious. Fried rice amazing😋. Joe our server was great too

Google
You have to eat Pho and drink Vietnamese ice coffee here. We are out of state folks but the food is so good.

Google
This place has the worst service I have ever experienced. I will not lie no matter how terrible the service was, the food was good, a solid 3.8 if decimals matter to you but if you’re hungry, do not come here. I waited for an hour before my food was brought out and that is not counting the 20 minutes we had to wait before getting attended. And while we got attended, for some reason my table had to stand up and grab our beverages from the fridge while the other non colored tables were brought their drinks to them. Every time we wanted to order anything from the menu, the lady would give us the most nastiest faces and make the rudest noises as she walked away. I also understand that they have a “if you have a party of 6 or more, you will be automatically pay a gratuity charge” policy but who counts 2 babies that only ate rice and broccoli as 2 extra people? 💀 In my 26 years of living in the city of New York, I have never given less than 30% tip on any meal and if I’m with my sisters who have kids, I wouldn’t mind going higher because I understand that kids are noisy and disruptive but to automatically apply the policy onto us over kids after terrible service was very cringe so I stayed at the 18%. Part of me truly believes that it was only the lady who was the problem because at the very end when we’re leaving and wanted dessert to go, we ordered some from the lady and she gives us the usual nasty faces making her regular disgusting noises, we start talking guy working there and this guy was super nice, joking with us and smiling throughout our interactions and extremely friendly. But sadly we didn’t get him as a server so who knows. Hope their service improves because they do have fantastic food or at least change that lady out for literally anybody else.

Yelp
Came up for a wedding near area found this gem on Yelp! The fresh spring roll with pork and shrimp were delicious! The Pho combo and chicken pho were delicious! A must try!

Yelp
It was in a really cute and cozy location, a very Connecticut-looking building. Service was very nice and attentive and quick! - egg rolls: portion size was smaller than what I'm used to, I didn't think the flavor was at par with other viet restaurants I've been to either - Thai tea boba: I couldn't taste the Thai tea, it just tasted like sweet milk - Vietnamese crepe cake: yummy and delightfully crispy! Loved it - beef pho: pretty solid, no notes! Broth was umami filled, they didn't skimp on beef, noodles were bouncy

Yelp
My wife and I first ate here around 1.5 years ago, the food was amazing.... I was smiling while I was eating, it was that good! This last time, eh. The roast pork vermicelli was flavorless and the roast pork was like shoe leather. It was overcooked and dry, I bet it was a few days old.

Yelp
Hidden in CT for sure. It's a small restaurant but clean and cozy. Pho special has very yummy clear brother with beef flavor, full if umami. They definitely took time to cook the broth with good ingredients. The noodles is chewy not soaky you won't taste the flour, lots of tripes and tender and soft beef. Grilled poke chop rice is big portion, perfect sunny side up egg, they have the steam egg (which many restaurant don't make anymore) the steam egg has wood ears, noodles carrots pork in it. So good. Many slices of tomatoes and cucumbers. pork chop marinaded well tender and juicy while u can tasted the bbq flavor. ... The only thing is I cant taste the lemongrass but it's still very food. Highly recommend. It's already better than many restaurants in city or Brooklyn. Fried egg roll has pork wood ears and glass noodles fillings, very authentic, unfortunately i wish they wrap it with rice paper will be more authentic. Definitely taste so good. We tried the Vietnamese coffee unfortunately it's not that good. Will be sure come back for the pho and try other dishes. Very polite people, great service and clean restrooms

Yelp
Joe B. and I had a rainy Sunday evening meal at Le's. Yelp certainly steered us to a true gem. Everything we ordered was excellent. In fact, we over ordered because we wanted to try so many different things. The beef pho was perfect - and not too salty, something I'm always worried about. The grilled pork noodle bowl was also very fulfilling; I had leftovers for the next day. No alcohol, but it didn't feel like we were missing anything. Really kind people who were working here. The spot seems to have a strong take out game, but it was also awesome to see plenty of people who were dining in.

Yelp
After having lunch at Le's Kitchen, the first thing I did was call the person who recommended it to me and thank him. This is a hidden gem in Danbury. It's located in the back of a small plaza and somewhat difficult to find but I found it! It's small, casual and very clean. The food is delicious and the service is very good. There are so many items on the menu I want to try that I, definitely, plan to go back soon.

Yelp
I came here with a friend for pho on a Monday afternoon and was surprised to see how the restaurant slowly filled up during our hour there. Their pho broth and meat were both on point. We also shared the spring roll (not fried). We could taste the fillings (shrimp, lettuce, bean sprouts) were really fresh. It is a small restaurant but with ample room, well-lit and very neatly kept. Will return, no question!

Yelp
This is the most flavorful pho around town , I've tried many . The wings and wontons are also yummy . It's BYOB which is great , wish they had mushrooms but they said you can also bring them if you like . Wait staff is really friendly , last time we went it was pretty cold but idk if that's because they were closing soon

Yelp
This is a small family run Vietnamese restaurant. They are polite, informative, and friendly. They decorate the space as best they can for a strip mall. I had the Pho Ga, the broth is very delicate this it's not a deep RICH broth. They use the same broth for beef, pork and chicken Pho. Their pho comes in three sizes, which I really like. Their portions are very robust. The chicken pho was both white and dark meat, which I enjoyed. The sides of jalapeño lime bean sprouts, and basil were fresh and generous portion. This is a good pho, I don't know if there is better in the immediate area

Yelp
Le's kitchen makes me feel better about living in CT. A cozy ma and pop style Vietnamese spot, tucked away in a shopping center with the most delicious pho!! (Grilled pork is my go to) The pho comes in 3 sizes incase you're there to eat your feelings. Bahn mi is on point!! Vietnamese coffee is to die for. As a NYC transplant I absolutely needed to lockdown a top notch Viet spot ASAP and I found it!!

Yelp
Best kept secret in CN, rolls r best I've had...everything is beyond perfect! I love that the make changes if you ask also & are very nice always.

Yelp
I rate Le's Kitchen zero stars. This is a very bad restaurant. They had served old food that had gone bad. If you order to go, please check that the food is still fresh before you go home. I had ordered five dishes to go for dinner: two grilled beef vermicelli noodle bowls, one grilled chicken vermicelli noodle bowl, one crispy tofu vermicelli noodle bowl, and one ginger rice chicken dish. My hotel was not far from the restaurant. When I got back, it turned out that the noodles were mushy and smelled bad. I had to throw all four orders into the trash can. Be wary when trying to eat here. When I called to complain, the owner tried gaslighting me into thinking that it was my fault that the noodles went bad because I had "left them outside too long." It had been only a couple of hours since we had first ordered the takeout after lunch time. Moreover, the owner never once admitted any wrongdoing, that maybe we had been given bad noodles accidentally. I would have been understanding if things had gone differently. After all, mistakes are expected when trying to complete many takeout orders all at once. But it's the fact that the owner doubled down on blaming me for the noodles going bad. That was it for me. Asian restaurant owners like this one better step up their game and have better customer service. I came to support y'all, and y'all let me down. Never again.

Yelp
Great Pho in the area! We ordered the grilled chicken Pho and Wonton Pho. Absolutely enjoyed my trip to this place.

Yelp
We've had the chance to revisit this place and have enjoyed the food immensely. The classic spring rolls were outstanding, so delicious, we ordered a second portion to go. We shared the Pho grilled chicken noodle soup (not to be confused with the shredded chicken soup), which contained a portion so huge, we took it home. The Vietnamese Pad Thai with beef and the Ginger Chicken were very flavorful. Service was very friendly and the prices were reasonable. Le's Kitchen is the go-to place for local Vietnamese cuisine.

Yelp
It's a small restaurant in an exceedingly tight lot and we'd tried unsuccessfully to go several times before. It's popular and always seems crowded. Happily, we lucked out and were able to reserve for our group on a recent visit. The food we tried was of mixed quality. Pho broth was quite lovely, a light, northern style, which came with the standard garnishes (bean sprouts, lime, basil, jalapeno). Beef (eye of round, I presume) was sliced a little too thickly, but fresh. A shrimp and pork summer roll ("fresh spring roll") was well made with pliant rice paper and a reasonable protein to vegetable / starch ratio, but I was not a huge fan of the very hoisin-heavy dipping sauce, which overwhelmed all other flavors. There wasn't much peanut flavor. In IMHO, nước chấm would've been a much better partner for this intrinsically delicate roll. Bo luc lac / shaking beef was made with good quality meat, but was overwhelmingly salty. The meat was cut a touch large and unwieldy and was not as melt-in-your-mouth tender as some of our favorite versions. Bubble teas weren't the best. They were very clearly from powdered mixes. Tapioca pearls were a mixture of soft and bouncy and unpleasantly hard. The two servers on duty were pleasant enough, but were clearly overwhelmed and unable to be present. We experienced some major delays, little check-in. Maybe a systemic issue the restaurant could address by hiring more staff. Overall, this was a good enough meal that we'd like to come by to try more -- especially more of the pho, which seem to be a strong point.

Yelp
Really prefer this Vietnamese spot. It's small; but the broth is just so tasty and clean. I've eaten in and ordered delivery. Inside is small; but clean and refreshing. I find their bun bowls quite tasty; the pork always has like the perfect char: meat: fat ratio. The prices can be a little higher than normal; but expected in suburbia. I wish they would add a broth option only for delivery!!

Genesis G.

Yelp
Very delicious food, it's a small spot but pretty authentic and I enjoyed it. The temperature of the food could have been better but overall good

Yelp
My family has been going to Le's for well over a year now and we love it. They are often quite busy and it seems like it's popular with Asians, which is always a good sign. They're Spring rolls are terrific and come with lettuce, but if you want to eat them the real way, you have to ask for mint and the other greens to roll it up in. I always get the grilled pork Bun bowl which is both generously sized and delicious. My daughter lives for Pho and it is quite good as well. Sometimes they're a little slow, but like I said, they get busy and everything is made fresh- so I don't mind being patient. The decor is simple and there's usually a tv going. My favorite thing about the decor are the beautiful, colored lanterns that make up the lighting for the restaurant. I'll have to remember to take a photo of them next time I go!

Yelp
Great find in Danbury!! Love Le's Kitchen Been 3 times in a month since I had my first lunch there. Such delicious clean food. Can't wait to go back And the pricepoint is wonderful too !!

Yelp
Fast service good food and good prices. Definitely worth stopping in. The pho is delicious

Yelp
Chicken Pho This is a small place but the Pho is great. I usually take it to go and I would put it together myself. I would warm the noodles in the broth up on the stove, for not too long just enough to loosen the noodles up, then add the other ingredients to it. (don't warm it up long) Add the leaves after bowling everything, a little sriracha, and enjoy. This isn't your normal grab-and-go Pho place with bland broth and noodles that taste like they were frozen. This is fresh tasting. Strongly recommended for the Pho in the Danbury area.

Yelp
Oh man it was my first time trying this place and it wasn't my kind of flavor profile. The flavors is something I suppose my family and I aren't used too but its not something we'd try again anytime soon. Hence the 3 star review. I ordered the chicken pho which my parents said was good and the XL fed them both, my sister got the seafood pho and I got the vegan pho, both of them had a different flavor which I guess aren't accustomed too. The vegan pho had a strong taste of cinnamon or cloves, I couldn't quite point out what was used but I did not enjoy it. The seafood pho was described as "gym sock water" by my teen niece. I also ordered the Vietnamese pad thai, oh boy was that a huge let down. It was just noodles with tofu, no sauce, if they used any it was very minimal. Perhaps in my mind I thought of the Thai pad thai which is my favorite and full of flavor, this one was nowhere near that. I actually ended up making my own sauce to be able to eat finish the noodles as no one else wanted them for lack of flavor. The beef with broccoli was rather salty and the meat was tough. I was told it tasted too much like soy sauce and no other flavor profile. The fried rice was very greasy and had an after taste that wasn't pleasant. Lastly, the fresh spring rolls I think out of the whole meal were the most decent thing I could eat. Perhaps in the future I'll give it another go and it's be that particular day was an off day for the cooks.

Yelp
One of the best Pho Restaurants in the State. This little restaurant is hidden in the corner of this small plaza and when you walk in the first tbing you notice is how clean this place is. If I was the health inspector I would have opened the door, saw how immaculate this place was, then said forget it and give them an A+ like it was noticeably clean. Anyways, the entire staff is just so friendly and attentive. They also had plenty of take-out orders going in and out as well as a busy dine-in service throughout my visit. People love this place and my meal explained why. I ordered the fresh spring rolls which had both pork and shrimp. Ingredients were fresh, noodles were not too hard or too sticky and the pork had great flavor to it. The shrimp was also cooked nicely and the pricing was very reasonable. My extra large beef pho was AMAZING. Reminded me of Pho 501 as well, they are known as being the standard here in CT. Le's is quite the contender here. The broth was outstanding. There was one type of meat in my pho. I ordered the #8 which is just Beef Pho with sliced beef. The beef had the PERFECT texture to it. Tasted amazing too which is great because there was plenty of it. I could be having the worst day ever and this pho would have me appreciating my existence again. The vietnamese iced coffee was authentic and fresh too! Everything was just so good. With amazing staff and a clean dining room in addition to my experience with food, Le's deserves this 5-Star rating.

Yelp
There were a lot of regular customers at this joint. It was very impressive. The place is not large, but still felt comfortable. Entire place including bathrooms were very tidy. The Pho noodle soups were probably the most popular; and I saw the carry out bags were being organized by the front counters. That definitely indicates a very solid turnover of customers for both in-person and take-out business. The food came out very well-prepared, and there were generous portions (well, maybe because I ordered the XL size, haha!) In essence, some of the items had to be doggy-bagged, which was fine. Towards closing time, the tables were filled up for the most part. The food photos explains majority of the same sentiments many yelpers had. But I think the most under-appreciated star of the entire dinner, was... wait for it... drum roll please.... was the.... lime-aid! It was definitely freshly prepared!!!! I did not want to finish it up so fast, that's how awesome it was!!! Please support your local businesses!!!

Yelp
The food is top notch -- don't be fooled by the unassuming exterior. I had a crepe for lunch and I'm going back for dinner! It's that good! The two people working there are super friendly.

Yelp
Two and a half stars. The Banh Mi sandwich is very good, but the Pho is a bit weak and devoid of flavor. Now, I gave a better review last time. I thought that the people running the shop were nice. But with this last visit I changed my mind. I find them not very customer friendly, not very flexible, without personality serving average food. I really want to like this place because I like Vietnamese food and I want to support small, local businesses. Objectively thinking though, why give a good review to a place with below average Pho, served by unfriendly people who refuse to honor Yelp app coupons? I am currently a Yelp elite and the Yelp "Duke" of Le's Kitchen with several visits. So I know my comments mean a great deal and I don't want to hurt a small business. But no more Mr Nice Guy from me, I'm sorry. I'm really annoyed at this place and am putting them in Joseph P's penalty box!
google avatar

Reuben B.

Yelp
Two stars because the service was good. Food was sadly not for me at all - appetizers were edible but over fried to the point of being overly oily, and the Pad Thai was NOT PAD THAI! No flavor but just endless salt.

Saint L.

Yelp
Went here for lunch, ordered the dumplings, spring rolls, grilled chicken pho. All were excellent. The service was great and the restaurant is extremely clean. Highly recommend.

Yelp
Found this little gem while commuting home from Boston. Food was great and quite authentic. Service was great. Everything we ordered was very good.
google avatar

Lilli R.

Yelp
The food here is top notch! My boyfriend and I came by on Sunday for lunch and we each had an order of pho, we shared spring rolls and summer rolls, and had bubble tea and Vietnamese coffee. The food was excellent; great portions, authentic flavors, and great ambience. Everyone was also masked up due to Covid, as well, and it seemed like they were really doing their best to keep things sanitized and safe. My only gripe is that they don't serve banh mi sandwiches (despite the online menus showing that they do) and when we asked to order the dessert from the menu we were given, they said they no longer serve dessert, either. We actually originally came specifically for the banh mi, and not much is more disappointing than having made a restaurant choice based on erroneous information. Also, if the printed menus are inaccurate, those should be revised too. Overall, we were pleased and would definitely come again!
google avatar

JP P.

Yelp
If you are craving Pho then get over here. Not having many Vietnamese places around this area I am glad to have found this place. Its super small and tucked away in a corner. They offer takeout and right now that's the best choice! But we all definitely miss the whole in person experience. I mean food is an experience you should have at the place it was created! I need Pho right now as it is snowing and it always warms me up! Also, the spring rolls are outstanding and the limeade! Boba!!!! Bonus!

Yelp
Went with the hubby for a weekday lunch. Passed by quite a few times and since many favorable reviews, thought to try it. A little bit different than our thai experience, in that no lunch specials were offered. We decided to try the grilled beef noodle bowl (bun bo xao) $13, bbq pork sandwich $8 and fried egg rolls-2 for $5. Egg rolls were piping hot and delicious. A bit bigger than Xay's, but then you're paying full price for them. Sauce seemed a bit thin but complemented the taste. Noodle bowl was good, tasted very fresh and looked fantastic (see pic). Husband's bbq pork was tasty and i thought filling but he didn't think so (did seem a bit small...). Since mine was plentiful, gave him more of mine. Maybe it's all about the Pho, which other people were happily slurping. In any case, if you have a big appetite, the entrees would be a better choice (~$12 to $16). Service was very good. They young ladies were attentive without hovering over you. Made sure beverages were filled and food was to our liking. Overall, a good meal, but beware the sandwiches are a bit small. A bit pricy for lunch too, despite a % discount for first time check-ins. Bill was about $26. Gave them a "4" because of the service and tasty meal. Very well worth checking out!
google avatar

James L.

Yelp
Not real good. Greasy tasteless "crepe" and the pork dumplings were soggy and no Bette than microwaved frozen from. stop and Shop. Sad. Tried. Not good. .

Yelp
The food from Le's Kitchen is consistently good. I've only ordered takeout from here and it's always packed when I pick up my food. It's popular for a reason - delicious food and a cute little restaurant! Some things that I tend to order on repeat are the Vietnamese Crepes, the Fresh Spring Rolls and the Steamed Dumplings, also the Thai Tea. I can't think of anything that I've tried though that I wouldn't order again. The online ordering is easy and the order is pretty much almost always ready upon arrival.
google avatar

Karen M.

Yelp
We tried Le's Kitchen tonight for the first time. Everything tasted very fresh! The spring rolls and pho chicken were great! I had never had a vermicelli noodle bowl before, and it wasn't really my thing, but I can't blame that on Le's. It was just noodle overload! It's nice to have a good, fresh option for Vietnamese food on Mill Plain Road!

Yelp
My colleagues and I stopped by here before our presentation up the street. It was cold and rainy during our visit. We wanted something warm. It is was a small restaurant with a bistro feel. We ordered egg rolls to start and they were delicious. Follow were the bowls of pho. The Pho Tai and special were very tasty. A little on the sweeter side than I am accustomed too but still very good. We also order Vietnamese coffee which were hand prepared. Got me through the day and my presentation.
google avatar

Gianna A.

Yelp
They no longer make the Bahn Mi sandwiches. If you're traveling for that don't come. Otherwise the food and service was good. Cute spot. I think they should've referred my to the Vietnamese crepe as an alternative. If I come back I'll try that next time
google avatar

Jennifer B.

Yelp
Soooo good. Enjoyed my favorite Vietnamese dish - grilled pork with vermicelli and they knocked it our of the park. Everything is very fresh and love all the depth of flavor. Vietnamese hot coffee was yummy. Staff was super nice, even though the place was packed on a Friday lunchtime.
google avatar

Alan P.

Yelp
Our go-to for Pho in the area. Super friendly staff, very fresh ingredients, tasty food and a very reasonable cost. If I could suggest anything, the broth needs to come to the table at a much higher temperature to cook the meats to taste. It should cool off over time, but still be piping hot to maintain its taste throughout the meal.
google avatar

David E.

Yelp
This place should be called Le Toilet. It is filthy, with dirt everywhere including the forks. Not only that, when I complained about the terrible taste of the dish that was placed in front of me, I was told by the owner, that they always make it that way. I refused to eat it and they never even offered to fix the problem. And even though I NEVER said I would not pay the bill, they called a police officer in and had him stand by to make sure just in case. Of course I paid the bill, but I will never go back again and neither should you.

Yelp

Yelp
Love this place. I am here at least once a week. The pho is super tasty and the staff is friendly. Probably the best pho in the greater Danbury area. Just be sure to ask for a side of chili oil. It really adds that extra kick!
