Les Petits Ventres

This is an amazing restaurant with first class food. It really is a hidden gem in Limoges. The minute you walk in you feel welcome and a big bonus for us is that they allow dogs in. Without even asking the waiter brought our dog a bowl of water. The food was absolutely fantastic and the set menus are great value. I would highly recommend this restaurant for everyone.

Gorgeous restaurant in the historic boucherie quarter of Limoges. Service as excellent, lovely friendly team. Food exquisite, plenty of choice à la carte and a fixed price menu.

I was invited by my son to celebrate my birthday at the Petits Ventres Restaurant. Located in the medieval part of Limoges, the restaurant has been wonderfully rstaured. The atmosphere is unique; great traditional French food, including an amazing home made birthday cake brought with lit up candles by the owner herself and her team. The choice of local wines is great. I would suggest the 1001 Pierres red wine from the Vally of Brives, to be served with a Carre de Boeuf and a Tete de Veau. By the way some waiters speak english. A super plus when it goes to explain what is in the plate!!!

Foie gras toast and pig ears appetizer was nice. Very disappointed with the steak, ordered medium but very tough. Melon tiramisu is a suprise.

Lovely restaurant in the old quarter of Limoges . Fantastic service , great food . The staff were exceptional.

Nice Restaurant, we have been a few times. Good food and service. We enjoy outdoor seating, although on this occasion it was quiet due to the weather conditions. A visit is recommended.

Wonderful find in a wonderful French setting. Quiet pedestrian area with superb food for the kids and adults…lovely flavours and would recommend to anyone visiting Limoges.

Our final meal out in this French trip. Cannot praise too highly. Lovely building, outstanding food, friendly and helpful service. A great location.

LOVE. THIS. PLACE. Traditional local food. Simply the best. If you are a vegan, do not go there, the local diet is meat based. Tourists and locals alike love the place. It's situated in the Quartier de la Boucherie which is probably the oldest preserved area of Limoges. Very pretty. As it is an historical building, expect narrow staircases and poor disabled access. The decor of the restaurant reflects the area it's in. The staff working in the restaurant is knowledgeable and very welcoming. I have been there a few times and every time i have loved it. Can't wait to go back!

I liked this place a lot, the server...loved her, she was fun, funny and very kind. The place is very nice inside, decor is kind of funky. We ordered a menu which consisted of a soup, slow cooked veal with parsnips and I ordered the cheese plate instead of a sweet dessert as I adore all cheese. The veal was tasty as well as the parsnips, I might have enjoyed the soup more as there was well cooked bacon floating in it!!

My dish was excellently prepared it was juicy and just plain delicious! I wanted a taste of a traditional French dish and that is exactly what I got.

My absolute favorite restaurant in Limoges! Everything about it is perfect: food, service and atmosphere.
