Our stay at Grand Hôtel du Lac was simply extraordinary! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with impeccable hospitality and a refined yet warm atmosphere. Every detail was carefully thought out to provide a truly unique experience, from the comfort of the rooms to the outstanding service. We also absolutely loved Varenna Restaurant, which delighted us with exquisite cuisine and unforgettable flavors. The perfect combination of high-quality ingredients, sophisticated presentation, and exceptional service made every meal a memorable experience. Without a doubt, this is a place where luxury and attention to detail make all the difference. A huge thank you to the entire team for making our stay so special. We can’t wait to return! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We had a great stay and highly recommend this hotel Well located in the action next to Cathedral and walking distance to all you might want to see. Staff are super nice and helpful. Get the airport pick up , efficient and saves you being ripped off. Rooms very nice and clean. Breakfast is great and overlooks cathedral. Cammile is awesome, she will sort you out. Walking shoes a must - enjoy

I confirm.||At night, i heard neighbourhood and road traffic despite our room was not next to roundabout side.||Too noisy.||Besides, you cannot swim inside the spa.||Lack of space. Even the parking is little.||Real luxe is space. Not here.||Finaly, staff are in the clouds.||Food is correct but not awesome.||Beware, too much partnership reviews.

Best quality, amazing service, fabulous reception, nice and cozy tea room, beautiful scenery. Breakfast is very good. More berries and variety of fruits would be appreciated. Very attentive staff. Certainly will come back from Canada “ inshAllah soon 😊”

Thoroughly enjoyed the “loveliness” of the Grand Hotel du Lac Vevey! On two or more occasions, this team of professionals extended courtesies to me which were unexpected and went ‘above and beyond’. Beautifully designed public areas. Loved my room: spacious, comfortable bed & linens, beautiful furnishings, good natural light and lake views. What makes this hotel classy, is that it was not pretentious but felt welcoming, friendly and genuine, from the front desk, the restaurant servers, and the bellman! Delightful, thank you.

Poor management saving costs and don’t seem to want to provide 5 star service for their guests.||We do not get help with luggage and the reception staff was busy training rather the more trainee instead of helping us with luggage and our elderly guest who needed assistant in wheelchair. The room service was promised to arrive in 20min but took 40min, and the fruit plate ordered was the fruit salad from the breakfast the staff said. ||The man staff member came in to room while woman was naked in the bed and had “do not disturb sign” outside the room. Staff cannot speak English and don’t understand what you want to order ex. Herbal tea. For the big 90years old birthday celebration in the fine dining restaurant we reserved a table was not provided either, we got pushed to the bar/restaurant side and our special requested cake was too hard to cut & bite. Spa would need an update for the sauna, now they got an old Swedish sauna stove instead of a proper Finnish Sauna. We had to make our own bed/linen because they don’t have enough housekeeping and therefore the bell man tried to help us make the bed. They tried to make up by giving alcohol to us who don’t drink alcohol, The list goes on…somehow they got my first comment deleted from here too? Nobody tried to compensate our hotel stay experience we paid for everything for a week stay that we could not change either. First impression and last impression are as important as the experience during the stay.||This management has a lot to improve and solve before I can recommend this hotel as||a 4-5star hotel they could be. I don’t understand how Relais & Chateux don’t have higher requirements for hotels like this? I lost my respect for Relais & Chateux standard now too, after been staying in their other hotels before. Waiting for a solution before I can edit and keep you updated if they have a solution on not…

Hotel Du Lac is a gem on the shore of Lake Geneva. We were welcomed with open arms from the time we pulled in front of the hotel. The staff is courteous, knowledgeable and helpful. The rooms are comfortable with breathtaking views of the lake.

Relais & Chateaux hotels have never disappointed us and the Grand Hotel du Lac is no exception! Wonderful hotel and they upgraded us to a lakeside room with balcony—beautiful! Staff very friendly, professional and accommodating and what you would expect from a luxury hotel. Thank you for a memorable experience in Montreux!
