"With a dimly-lit ambience that feels like you’re walking into a Jane Austin novel, Edgar touts leather sofas, lounge chairs, a fireplace, and pool tables, attracting artists, students, and professionals alike. Delightfully austere and ideal for scotch, champagne or a martini (shaken, not stirred)." - Allison Van Rassel

We attended this pub because, every Wednesday evening between 20.00 hrs & 12 am there is a jamming session. Last evening there were 9 violins, 1 guitar, 1 mouthing, 2 accordions, 1 ukulele and a clogg dancer. It was terrific, resembling an Irish folk band. Good selection of drinks, particularly local beers and, marginally cheaper than town centre bars 12 CAD taxi ride, one way, from town centre.

A gorgeous rustic resto bar thanks to its exquisite decor and style along with curated accompanying blues and jazz music to let you time travel to decades ago. There’s pool tables in the back for those who wanna enjoy a couple of rounds while sipping on their fancy cocktails. Definitely a place to spend your Friday or Saturday nights until the sun rises again 😃

We’ve discovered this restaurant by pure chance because we were searching for a place to play pool in our visit to Québec City. The atmosphere is cozy and classy with really nice music. The staff it’s very nice and friendly always making sure you have a good time. The menu is not big and with a nice selection of drinks. We ate 3 types of burgers that were really tasty. If want to have a good time don’t miss this place, I feel it’s a hidden gem.

Great spot to play pool. Nice atmosphere and music, and friendly service. We didn’t eat but they had a decent selection of beers and cocktails.

A special spot and a new fav. Love folk music with a variety of local artists on Tuesday nights 8pm+.

The food is good and the ambience is excellent, they need to improve the services because there was a huge confusion regarding the food served. The waiter served a different food than we had ordered. Though the waiter is very nice and pleasant.

What can I say, the place is quite interesting the vibe is great they have theme music daily and people dance or practice dancing. The choice of food is very small. We all had meat nachos, it was cold the tomato sauce didn't taste like it was cooked. Looking at the pictures, I don't think that any other choice would have been better. As for alcohol we had bloody Ceasar served in a cosmopolitan glass, being Greek my nose didn't even fit😅. The drinks are watered down unbalanced in taste. Terrible, didn't drink it, I asked for a beer instead and I was charged for their poor execution. So to recap atmosphere great, food eat before you go and go for dancing and stick to beer.

DJ was amazing, drinks were strong (in a great way!) and the energy was phenomenal. We just happened to be passing by on our way back from a festival. So glad we stopped there!

Yelp
The food was good! Portions were great size! My calamari was very good and super filling! My mom's poutine was yummy, my sisters chips and bean chili were super fantastic and my dad's nachos were good! The nachos were vegetarian so that was nice! Oh my goodness the service was super fast the servers were bilingual and super nice! They have a music night on Tuesdays and they started to play when we were leaving and it was perfect! The mocktail was so good that my Mom ordered her own after she tired my dads! And dessert was the perfect size we got a chocolate cake and cheese cake and we a

Yelp
I came here on my first night visiting québec with my girlfriend. It was very pretty on the inside and they played good music. We sat at the bar and our bartender was so sweet helping us out with the menu since it's in a different language! We also ordered the poutine and it was so delicious. I definitely recommend this place!

Yelp
Really impressed by this restaurant/pool hall! Came here for dinner on a Saturday night with my boyfriend while visiting QC. We came right at 5pm and were the first ones in the restaurant, but it slowly filled up and many tables were reserved. The dinner menu is small, but I was pleasantly surprised to find a few vegetarian options. The ambiance is romantic and classy with low lighting and a modern open bar. The front of the restaurant had a dining room and the back of the restaurant, which is separated by a wall from the front, is a pool hall with bar seating. My boyfriend and I started with the poutine appetizer, which was delicious! It's a good classic poutine with lots of gravy and cheese curds. It's a good size to share for two. For dinner, I had the grilled tofu skewers and my boyfriend had the Magret de Canard (duck). I loved my dish. It reminded me of eggplant parmesan but better. My boyfriend thought his duck was perfectly cooked and seasoned with a delicious sauce. The potatoes were also good. We each ordered two cocktails through the night and would highly recommend trying the cocktails. My favourite was Le Nordique and my boyfriend liked the cocktail with gin and cucumber. We ended up playing an hour and a half of pool after dinner. Our bill came to $115. Overall, we had a wonderful time at this restaurant and would highly recommend trying it out!

Yelp
I was worried it was going to be a pool hall but it's really not what you expect. It's cool and elegant, yet relaxed and comfortable too. Think classic old time mirrors and damask wallpaper, combined with modern elements and a portrait of the old 'thorn in Canada's side' - Rene Levesque, on the wall. The pool tables are in a different room from the restaurant. It's not located in a trendy part of town and is mostly frequented by locals. We were staying in the lofts a few doors down. They have great cocktails and food. We were a party of four and everyone loved their meals. Service was great too.

Yelp
This place is more than just a pool hall. It's a full service restaurant. It's two different rooms that join. It would be great to go there with a group, share some appies, have some drinks and then head over to the pool area. I went there last night with my boyfriend and I loved the place! Very comforting ambience for a cold, rainy night. The place was packed when we arrived, but luckily for us they have two couches close to the entrance for people who just want to have drinks/appies and lounge (or maybe it's their waiting area, lol) regardless, we decided to have dinner there. We ordered our drinks and their nachos to start. You HAVE to order their nachos. SO good! We also had the spaghetti and the couscous. Both meals very, very good! Two reasons I'm taking away a star: 1. I would like to see their menu explain their meals a bit more... For example at the moment they list "couscous" and nothing more. My meal came with a chicken/vegetable curry based stew, couscous, a lot of the broth and two smokey sausages (really good!). I'm sure all their meals are great but it's hard to know what you're ordering if they only list one ingredient. 2. I would really like to see the carpet gone from the pool hall room. It makes it smell like a damp basement. In their defence, they have been open for 17 years and they are closed during the summer months.

Yelp
This is a pretty cool place even by Montreal standards. They have pool tables/lounge area and restaurant area where you could meet up with that special someone or good friends. We got there on a tango night and seeing those couples dancing in a middle of the restaurant was pretty cool. Their cocktails are almost as good as their food too. Service is excellent, very friendly so yes, will bookmark this place. Next time I go to visit family and friends in Quebec I'll pop by again.

Yelp
First Night in Quebec and we checked this place out on a recommendation from our airbnb host. It's filled with locals and you could tell that it's a popular spot from the get go. Our waiter, Nick, was the friendliest and best waiter that I've ever had anywhere. Extremely knowledgeable and he even gave us a list of restaurants in the area to try out. To start out, The poutine and nachos here are outstanding. If you want authentic Canadian poutine this is the place. We came here two separate nights on our trip and both were amazing experiences. I had the beef flank steak and fries and my girlfriend had the duck confit. Excellent dishes overall. Even if you're staying in the old town this place is worth the 20 minute or so walk to get to. What really set this place apart was the wait staff and the ambiance. We felt like citizens of Quebec from the get go and it was an excellent jumping off point for our vacation. We will definitely be returning.

Yelp
What a fun place to hang out!! It's a pool hall, restaurant, and hang out all in one. We went there on a rainy Sunday night, to our surprise it was tango night. A few people from a local dance studio were there practicing. They were so kind, they offered a us a quick beginner class just a few steps. They told us there is definitely something different to do every night. We had a few drinks, no food. The drinks were strong, the service was great. We had blast!! Give them a call to find out what's going on, during that day.
