It’s the potato and chorizo omelet at Cal Pep, a loud, cheery El Born stalwart that’s been around since before the neighborhood became trendy. This eggy wonder is the kind of thing we wake up craving on mornings after a heavy night: a golden, crisp exterior smothered in zingy alioli and a creamy, molten inside full of potato and chorizo, oozing goodness as you cut into it.
