"Boston is home to some outstanding Vietnamese food. Most of it is concentrated in Dorchester, a neighborhood that’s just eight stops away from you on the Red Line. But if you can’t make it out there, Le’s on JFK isn’t a bad stand-in. The menu at this casual spot is enormous, and while most people head right for the pho (not a bad choice - it’s a nice, rich broth) you should try some of their bigger entrees, too, like the ginger chicken." - dan secatore

"Le’s is a cheap Vietnamese place in that big, brick strip mall-type building on the corner of JFK and Mt. Auburn in Harvard Square. It’s almost always busy, usually with a lot of Harvard students filling both levels of the tiered seating set-up. Just about everyone around you will be eating some kind of pho, but if you’re not in the mood, the crispy spring rolls over vermicelli noodles are a nice alternative." - Dan Secatore

This restaurant is genuinely one of the best places I’ve visited at during my time in the U.S. Of course, everyone has different tastes, so others may have different opinions, but for someone like me who loves soups and broths, it’s truly top-notch. The beef noodle always amazes me with its incredible flavor. I always order the extra-large size because it comes with a generous portion of beef, tendon, tripe, and other cuts. I wish they sold rice separately, as I’d love to mix it into the broth at the end, but unfortunately, they don’t offer it.

This is my 3rd time coming here, and I just say the food quality & taste is consistent every time. There’s not many good Vietnamese restaurants in Cambridge, so I was super happy to find this gem. Trang was our server, very attentive and professional. All the food came out quickly, and all tasted so delicious. Definitely recommend this place to everyone who visits the area.

Near to the end of our trip to the Boston-Cambridge area, we were brought to this Vietnamese restaurant. We were surprised by the food here when we ordered the Fried Flat rice noodles with seafood and originally a small size of Beef Pho (thin rice noodles soup with beef slices, mint leaves & beansprouts served separately), and warm soya bean milk drinks. The Beef Pho came in large size instead... however, we decided to proceed and was not disappointed with the clear soup based dish. The Fried Flat rice noodles was also nicely done with just the correct blend of gravy and generous chunks of squid and prawns. The flat noodles were stir fried with the right amount of heat in what we called at home as "wok hey", the smell of the wok! We were pleased with the meal. Le's Vietnamese Restaurant is definitely the place to go if you are in the area and craving for Asian food.

This will likely be my only full 5 star review in my entire human lifespan. I’m from the south, so I didn’t have exposure to my own Vietnamese culture. I went to this restaurant almost everyday in the summer of 2018 as a 17 year old. I went to university, graduated, and came back this summer. Fresh pho broth, meats (including tripe), and an incredibly perfect batch of pho noodles in one extra large bowl, finishing with a durian or avocado smoothie—that was the only routine I abided to almost everyday. Today, I came back with the same routine. The flavor is not the same. But it is irrevocably better. Thank you for connecting me to my heritage and continuing to serve the best Vietnamese pho I’ve ever had in my life.

Service was extremely good and I was excited to try the pho. As a Vietnamese person, the pho was one of the best I’ve ever tried in a restaurant, tasted almost exactly homemade. Was very pleasantly surprised.

The noodles in pho was slightly mushy, the soup broth and beef slices were so-so The spring rolls only had lettuce, i prefer the ones with vermicelli
