"This red-shuttered house exudes a subtle Basque feel, a reminder of the origins of the pair of brothers who own this bistro. The elder of the two draws on his extensive experience in Parisian kitchens in a new take on the flavours of South-West France; the younger brother smoothly orchestrates the restaurant floor and provides expert recommendations from the well-crafted wine list. The dishes change from day to day: butternut squash and sage ravioli topped with turmeric butter, Basque lamb confit served with smoked sucrine lettuce and a white chilli sauce. The simple, bold culinary spirit harks back to the owners' roots." - Michelin Inspector

The two brothers at Les Voletes Rouges are doing a fantastic job. From the moment we sat down to our parting farewells, my party felt very well taken care of. We all ordered the five course surprise menu and every single bite of food was amazing. Three of us also got the wine pairing and each wine was perfectly paired and was absolutely delicious. Our other guest who doesn't care for wine asked for two different cocktails and asked to be surprised. She thoroughly enjoyed both drinks. I wish I were staying longer in Toulouse so we could visit again. I can't wait for another visit to this exceptional restaurant in a different season for another wonderful take on fine dining in an unpretentious setting.

A super little restaurant in Toulouse’s old town. We had the menu degustation with accompanying wines - very reasonably priced. The food was excellently prepared and presented and tasted fantastic. The wines were more than palatable. The servers Leo and Vincent were very attentive. Would certainly recommend

An excellent experience. Finally, there is a refined and cozy Restaurant in Toulouse.. Every dish was a visual and delicious treat. The service was extremely personable and knowledgeable. And on top of everything open on Saturday evening! We will be coming back shortly.
