L'Amant Secret

"Located on the 26th floor of L'Escape Hotel, L'Amant Secret (French for secret lover) is an intimate space inspired by Parisian sensibilities. Chef Son Jong-won, who honed his culinary chops in the United States, strives for a style which he refers to as Korean-style Western cuisine. His modern interpretations are based on local ingredients blended with Western cooking techniques, resulting in creations that are both original and familiar, respectful of the symbiosis between the producer and the ingredients as well as the kitchen and the diner." - Michelin Inspector

Palais de Chine

"Located inside the Parisian Belle Époque-inspired L'Escape Hotel, Palais de Chine is the only space within the hotel that offers Eastern tastes and sensibilities. Inspired by designs from Shanghai's own belle époque, the modern space offers both authentic and modern interpretations of Chinese cuisine. There is a good range of dishes on the menu that stay true to their regional eccentricities, including the dim sum selection. Palais de Chine prides itself on its Peking duck, another celebrated Chinese dish with regional distinctiveness." - Michelin Inspector

The Best MICHELIN Guide Hotels in Seoul

"L’Escape Hotel offers two escapes: one to Seoul, and another to 19th-century Paris. Inspired by the Belle Époque, celebrated French architect and interior designer Jacques Garcia made the hotel into a stylish time machine. The romantic rooms are flawlessly decorated with flower-patterned canopy headboards, embroidered textiles, clawfoot tubs, and mirrored doors." - The MICHELIN Guide

The L’Escape was a unique and fun spot - situated in a near perfect location. A real top-notch experience from start to finish.||You enter on ground 1, which is a sparkling lobby with a host and decorations, you then check in on the 7th floor, which is the core hub of the hotel – check-in, private lounge and library. It’s a fantastic space, well-kept and always staff nearby to help guide you (with so many floor to ceiling mirrors it’s easy to get turned around) if you have questions or are looking for something. Service was polite and professional, really great staff.||The rooms were funky in a good way; corner suite was light and bright. Tons of natural light to help beat jetlag. Its not a boring Hilton type hotel, it has great style and design. Amenities are top of the line, and everything was new (tv remotes wrapped and sealed) and well placed. The lights are on central control knobs which takes a minute to get used to but is then fine. All drapery etc. is remote controlled as well. ||Breakfast and happy hour in the lounge is really really exceptional. It’s all top shelf (Macallan 12 etc.) included and the food is fresh and well presented. Much better than most hotel offerings I have stayed in. Very nice space, easy places to sit if you want to chat with other travelers or private space if you prefer quiet. Again, staff was tremendous and helpful.||Great choice, its unique, it’s fun and it’s a good value for being a 4–5-star hotel.

Very nice accommodations! I love the location the most, but the rooms are very nice too. Honestly from the pictures, I kinda thought this place would be corny and kinda dated but it definitely looks and feels much more luxurious in person. The Amour King room 2504 is a very solid view and room. The bathroom is incredible. The AC works great, they have umbrella borrowing systems and the workers are all very kind and very fluent in English.

What an amazing Hotel to finish our 4 week holiday of Japan and South Korea! Starting from Luanna at reception who checked us in and really looked after us, we knew from then we were going to have a great stay. The best lounge we’ve had, the most amazing food. Actually so good that we didn’t need to go out for dinner any night we stayed there. We were so impressed with Lee su bin. She remembered where we liked to sit, our favourite drinks and made sure every person in the lounge each night was looked after, even helping us all by making cocktails. She was the ultimate hostess. The location of the hotel is so good. Walking distance to so much ( 12 story Daiso, less than 10 minutes walk) and a subway station at the front door. Everything about L’ESCAPE we loved, the room we had was so comfortable and so dark for sleeping, lights were a little confusing, but not an issue. It had the BEST hairdryer. |We will definitely be back!

Exquisite beautiful boutique hotel situated perfectly. As you enter aroma of fresh flowers is an intro to this great spot. Wonderful spacious rooms that are beautifully decorated. Also fantastic bed and amenities. If you can stay in suite that has access to executive lounge. Fantastic breakfasts and over the top evening cocktails (you make your own) and hot and cold gourmet dishes. Absolutely loved this place.

The hotel is a master piece, well designed to the smallest details. Staff was very frendly, polite and professonal. The reception hall’s flowers were amazing. The breakfast was excellent and the staff there very kind and diskrett. If you want to eat more privacy the library is excellent choice. The gym was well equipped with cold drink and towels. Overall the hotel was very clean. The location was excellent, the metrostation just front of the main door and most attractions reached by foot. U

This hotel is amazing! From the moment you arrive at the ground floor concierge area you are aware that you are staying somewhere special and unique. We were upgraded at check-in from deluxe classic to deluxe amour (due to our wedding anniversary) - thank you, absolutely loved the bathroom! It’s difficult to describe how special and classy this hotel is, needs to be seen to fully appreciate it. Take time to fully explore the hotel, tea salon, bar etc. All staff were very helpful, always greeted you with a smile, special mention to George the most helpful concierge ever, even found a barbours shop for me! Location of the hotel is excellent, we walked to most of the main sites - take an old fashioned paper map as google maps struggles. Shinsegae shopping mall right next to the hotel has a superb food court in the basement which we found really useful - we also enjoyed the local eateries. We really enjoyed exploring Seoul and our stay was certainly enhanced by our choice of hotel - would love to stay again one day. Highly recommend. Thank you.

We are a super happy customer. Definitely want to visit again of there is a chance. The receptionist, Belle, especially took care of us. This hotel made our experience memorable and romantic. The lounge food was delicious. The suite room had a private bathtub with gorgeous quality room.
