I’m very happy with my decision to attend this school. I had put off going back to school for years! When I finally decided it was time, I did my research. Stumbling across this school online was very fortunate for me, and I am truly grateful. The staff is AMAZING, and I love my classmates. Nakia is an amazing instructor that gives you the space, and guidance. I’m supposed to graduate from the manicuring program in December, and I’m heavily thinking about coming back for the manicuring instructor course. Thank you Lesprit for providing a safe, and fun environment to learn in. If you are looking for a great educational program, this is your place! ❤️

When I got my hair done at the school in Southfield for the first time. Everything was going well until she started putting heat in my hair. She burned me all throughout my scalp. I have burn marks all along the back of my hair and in the middle of my hair just all around didn’t realize I had this many burns in my head until almost a week later. obviously, the school did not teach this young lady how to use electric heated products for the hair. My mother said I was a fool for sitting there. When she burned me the first time you know, I said OK she said sorry, but then she continued to burn me and I kept jumping. I had my daughter go all through my scalp and take pictures of the burns. I will be going to the doctor soon to see if I can get something to relieve the pain. Didn’t even realize I had the burns until I was scratching Realized there was a big scab on the back of my head. Before anyone says anything, I have not put any additional products in my hair nor any heat in my hair since I have gotten my hair done In Sotuthfield. Black women please be aware some of these students do not know how to use curlers flat iron or anything possibly with heat. I don’t care how good.

I absolutely love MY school! I’ve been to plenty beauty schools in two different states and this was the school that got me to the finish line. They have amazing facial and wax products and great teachers . This was the school experience I was praying and hoping for . Classmates turned into a real sisterhood . Don’t walk , run to registration!

I was serviced by Lana, she did a great job on my Mani Pedi! Everything from the color, application , and design she did was perfect for me. She has excellent customer service skills, and is an absolute sweetheart, I will be back to see her again.

Poor educational experience. The cost for training is appealing but definitely pay more for what you deserve by looking at more structured and experience schools. Especially if you’d like to be seen as a serious professional and be competitive within the beauty industry. I recommend looking else where. Word of mouth is the strongest marketing tool…and if you’ve asked others about this school believe what they say it is likely negative feedback and it’s been proven true.

I specifically chose to go to L’esprit due to the promise that alumni would receive a lifetime discount on Dermalogica products. This has turned out to be a scam. I placed an order for hundreds of dollars worth of products in July (it is now end of December), one which would have been the first of many. They have repeatedly blown me off. I have called the facility twice, stopped in four times, only to continuously be told sorry we’re still figuring it out. Meanwhile, I KNOW they have placed orders as they need to to run the business. Yesterday, I stopped in and was told I’d receive a call in an hour, that they were so sorry, yet again I was blown off. I even told them I’m at a point of wanting to call the better business bureau and report this and write negative reviews, but I guess they truly do not care. I’d be curious if I were to call Dermalogica and let them know the situation what their thoughts would be. I am very disappointed in the lack of professionalism and respect for someone who spent over $10,000 with them. I will be sharing my story and would not recommend them as they cannot follow through with a very basic request. I only wonder how many other orders are ignored from alumni.
