"Two enthusiast young food lovers have joined forces to create this inviting vintage bistro with solid wooden flooring and benches. A good time is had here, as you tuck into original dishes that make no bones about drawing on influences from far afield. For lunch there is themenu du jour(with no options) and a mini à la carte menu; at dinner, a more extensive choice." - Michelin Inspector

Wow! What a great find. Delicious inventive food in a super cute spot served by a very friendly staff. Away from the tourist throngs, too, so that a huge appeal. Highly recommend this place!!! P.s. LOVE the coat hooks behind each table. Every restaurant in the world needs to do this.

I’m always looking for authentic places when traveling. I found this restaurant based on reviews and a blog article, and it lived up to its reputation. I loved the food and the service was fantastic. We had the 3 course lunch special and it was amazing. Thank you! We’ll return the next time we are in Paris!

Best meal we had during 2-week Europe trip. Delicious, elevated food in a comfortable environment, with staff who could not have been more friendly. Truly delightful experience. The staff spoke English with us (quite well) and showed genuine interest in not just our dining experience but our journey overall. If we’re in Paris again, we will hurry back. Highly recommend.

We ate here on our first night in Paris. It really is a gem of a restaurant. Warm and friendly. With thoughtful, inventive delicious food. I love the seasonal focus and simple but evocative menu. No choice paralysis, just great food. I was overwhelmed by my prawn and vegetable starter in a beautifully fragrant bisque. Every mouth full made me say, ‘oh my god’.

Very friendly service. The ingredients are fresh and good. Limited menu, 3 choices of main course : fish, meat, vegetables. Today, the meat and vegetables were both in deep fried cooking mode, not my likes. The fish was good though.

Amazing place and excellent food and service. The dishes were originals and with good ingredients. We ordered the lamb as a main plate and it was superb! We will definitely come back!

Good food, good service, but maybe some dishes are too experimental. Gravlax of Dorade, ice cream tasting of peas , are an experience, but maybe not to be repeated.

Yelp
TRUE PARISIAN EXPERIENCE. If you want true Parisian food/tastes - along with the experience, this is the place to stop in. This restaurant is nestled in a small residential area near the Lamarck-Caulaincourt Metro station off of the 12 line. Once you get out of Metro, you go down the famous steps (featured in many movies) and make a left on the main road. It is a small place, so it is highly recommended to make reservations. I was lucky to get a seat on a Thursday evening (22.00 service) as my best friend is a local here. FUN FACT: the menu continues to change everyday, week, month, etc. There is no staple dish as they continuously experiment with flavors. So, when you go and you like a particular dish, it might not be there again the next time you go. The dishes I chose were: escargot for starters, and veal with cabbage for the entree. For the drink, I had absinthe prepared the French way! Everything was like artwork with tastes to blow you away. Plates were cleared without problem. The restaurant waiters had much patience in serving families with children. Its a small place but they do their best to accommodate!

Yelp
A FUN bistro with a changing menu. Excellent food and wine, don't forget to order dessert and dessert wine!! It was awesome. Staff was very friendly and accommodating (not stuffy at all).

Yelp
I love this lovely restaurant! Thomas (the owner) was more than welcoming! He waited on all tables by himself and didn't miss a beat. We were able to get a table despite making late reservations over the phone. Thomas read us the entire menu in English and the food (especially the dessert-tarte a la creme, vanille, gingembre, and sucre galabē) was absolutely amazing!

Yelp
Daunting experience for those unaccustomed to rude Parisian waiters. After being refused bread, the main course (when it eventually arrived), was very good (lapin farci). However limited menu (3 plats of which only 2 left within an hour of opening).
