Cross-posted from yelp: Really fun place to visit! Getting in was really entertaining and adds a special aesthetic to the place. Have been meaning to try it out for ages. Did not try the food, but enjoyed the drink I got. I would suggest going with friends so that you can get a round table, or sit at the bar near the windows -- otherwise, you kind of are watching the kitchen/hood the whole time. The bartenders are awesome to watch though! Good quality drinks, good variety. Definitely unique cocktail menu and not just the standard options. A little pricey ($14-18/cocktail), so I would probably only have one (max two) in a visit, but enjoyable nonetheless. I did struggle to find their pricing online before visiting. Will note that the lighting is dim for the speakeasy vibe (cool) but also it's ambiently fairly loud due to the size of the space. Wouldn't recommend if you struggle with sensory environments.

Cool concept. Great ambiance, great service, great drinks, but the food feels like elevated bar food. Fries were soggy, wings were too doughy and not crispy/crunchy. Enjoyed the fried kim cheese. The Cacio e pepe had not even a trace of pepper. If they invested in the technique, they could take it to the next level.

I enjoyed the concept and the selection at the bar was good. My husband requested a custom drink and a they did a great job. The waitress was nice, but her sweater was covered in animal hair. My water glass had dried food and hair in it. No biggie, got a new glass. I ordered the invincible goose for a drink. It was like drinking pure lime juice. Terrible and hurt my teeth. The kind waitress got me a new cocktail no problem. Then we got apps. The brussel sprouts were soggy. The menu Said that they were supposed to be roasted but they might as well have been steamed. No char or texture. Just mush. The filo feta rolls were soggy as well and the feta was overpowering. On to the main course as we crossed our fingers that it would be an improvement. The seared tuna was solid sinu. Like tuna bubblegum. I could hardly get the fork into it. The ribeye special had good flavor but the meat was such poor quality. It was a very thin cut of 90% fat and grizzle. Plus they dont let you pick how you want it cooked. We left as soon as we could never to return. So much for our anniversary dinner. 😩

Amazing place! The bar manager (Luke I think) was epic. Made the best darn Slow Gin Fizz this girl has had. He's so knowledgeable in mixology and is an asset to the place. Also LOVE the atmosphere.

Google
Went on a Monday evening and was able to walk right in. Both the food and cocktails were very good and much more unique than you'll find at most other places in the area. The servers were all wonderful. We loved the feel of this place, too. It's got the fun twist of a speakeasy with a "hidden" entrance.

Google
I truly enjoyed my time at this bar! Speakeasy vibes and super cozy! The staff was friendly and attentive. Definitely a hidden gem in this area and so happy I got to try the boozy ice cream sundae omg it was the best!

Google
One of if not the best Speakeasy Style Bar in the state can be found in Hudson Massachusetts. Less Than Greater Than has all the cocktails you'd expect and great food including one of the best burgers I've ever had. Their burger is a Premium Ground Beef Patty, House-Made Brioche, American Cheese, Caramelized Onions, Dill Pickles, Lemon Aioli. Served with House Greens. I was not expecting it to be that good and it's definitely in my top five. And because they're right next door to their sister restaurant New City Microcreamery they have some excellent desserts always rotating on the menu with fresh ice cream made next door. Around this out with classic and unique cocktails offered and skilled bartenders making them right in front of you and you got dinner, drinks, and a show.

Google
We went for a celebratory dinner/drinks last night. We had a party of 4 so we ordered some apps; all of which were very good. We had the wings and Mac and cheese. The wings were cooked perfectly. I got a burger which was cooked to order with nice crispy seasoned potato wedge style fries. Chef Cory came over to make sure everything was satisfactory and made sure we were taken care of. Overall great experience and would recommend to others visiting the area.

Yelp
Speakeasy inside of an ice cream shop. Got a glass of wine and the s'mores dessert pie. Yum yum yum. The dessert was really good--my friends and I split it so it was a decent size. Gooey and tasty and unique. Inside was all vibes with an intimate atmosphere, good for date nights. It's also cool when you exit it looks like you're leaving a cobbler shop.

Yelp
This spot is so unique and wonderful! We went for cocktails, but they actually have a food menu and everything sounded good. We both ordered a tiki cocktail when we went here. Both were unique and delicious. The ambiance is chic and intimate. A perfect speakeasy setting! Our server was wonderful. She was helpful and attentive. I liked her a lot. This is a cool spot! We came across it years ago when getting dessert next door. We came back just to get cocktails from here and it didn't disappoint. Also, love the name. (I'm a math teacher!)

Yelp
Finally came here after work with friends. It's a really cozy speakeasy that you wouldn't expect to find in this part of the state. It wasn't difficult to get a reservation for the same day. I love gin and tonic and enjoyed my freezer martini, and I tried a friend's joy quota and it was a nice strong fruity cocktail. We ordered everything to share. I think the standouts were the circle cut fries and potatoes au gratin. The crispy wings and lobster ravioli were also delicious, and I really enjoyed the Dubai chocolate sundae. They really do crispy textures and creaminess well. I would definitely come again. I'm eyeing the steak and the burrata starter if they're still on the menu next time.

Yelp
My absolute favorite place of business in Hudson, MA. A place I am willing to drive over an hour to get to when visiting friends in the area. What a fun experience. Back of the ice cream shop, flip a switch, gain entry, and you are whisked into the dimly lit, cozy speakeasy dripping with ambiance. Every nook and cranny of this place is expertly decorated. The waitstaff and bartenders and very sociable and attentive. Specialty mixed drinkers, small and large bites, and some tantalizing desserts adorn their small, but rich menu. Whenever possible, I leave room for their Spirits & Cream Cocktails, a mix of hard alcohol, ice cream, and other delights. On my most recent visit I opted for their Peanut Butter Cup option that mixed ice cream, whiskey, fudge, peanut butter sauce, and a peanut butter cookie into a sight to see and a party for the taste buds. Highly recommend. I hear they do special events here around various holidays with drink/food pairings. Wish they had another location closer to home! A treat when in town.

Yelp
This speakeasy is such a fun place to go with friends or a date. They always have creative food and inventive drinks.

Yelp
Happy Anniversary to us! And with the anniversary date, came the $150 Armagnac tasting (my gift to the hubs). Unique product, it was an opportunity to "try before you buy". And while the Armagnac wasn't what we anticipated, it was enjoyable to sample an 1888 smooth and aromatic liquor. It was quiet in the house, none of our "boys" and girls were there, which was a bit of a sad point, but Sasha was a fantastic host, service was lovely and my repeat of Chicken Piccatta as lovely as the first time I had it (seriously worth going for that and a cocktail!).
google avatar

Yelp
This was such a fun and cute speakeasy! I think they did a great job with the decor and ambience to really feel like an old speakeasy! I love the secret door/passcode to get in! They have a great cocktail menu and an extensive liquor selection. The staff was super helpful and gave me great drink suggestions! We started off with the Mac & cheese, kofta meatballs and shaved steak danish. Mac & cheese was probably my favorite of the apps it was super cheesy and delicious! For mains we got the lobster ravioli, steak frites and chicken piccata. My favorite was the lobster ravioli but my parents enjoyed the chicken pitta and steak most! Everything was delicious and would definitely recommend. They're located inside new city microcreamery and even offer some ice cream based cocktails too and you can always grab some delicious ice cream next door for dessert!!

Yelp
Everything was amazing! Staff were very kind and made room for us without a reservation on a busy evening. They checked on us multiple times throughout the meal. The food was crazy good, I need to plan a return trip to try more!! the fried feta was even better than I expected it to be. The cocktail milkshake was delicious and massive.

Yelp
Cool little place. If you're a vegetarian or vegan, forget it. Pretty much nothing on the menu for you. Tried the sherried beet dish, but it was basically a super super spicy harissa shakshuka . Beets in a giant pool of spicy red sauce. Yuck. Cavatappi pasta was OK, but it was cold when it came to the table and not that good. Honestly, the best thing was the asparagus. Cool atmosphere cool drinks, but wouldn't come back for the food.

Yelp
fun hidden spot in new city micro creamery! upon arrival i tried the "main" entrance but that is not how you get in. you go through the ice cream parlor and turn on the light in the back side area. the food was really yummy and the drinks were good. my only complaint is that the service was not attentive as they could be and it felt like my group was getting overlooked slightly in the scheme of things but maybe it was an understaffed night. the food and the prices made up for it though!

Laura H.

Yelp
Great dining experience. The craft cocktails were creative and delicious. The staff was extremely friendly and knowledgeable and I can't say enough good things about the Fried Kim Cheese and the Bacon Chopped Salad.

Keith R.

Yelp
I was thinking about a few different things to eat and my waitress Vicky was phenomenal. Thank you.
google avatar

Yelp
Overall ok experience. I think it's a bit pricy for what they offer . Seared tuna was ok and espresso martini was ehh. I think the vibe is nice and cute dinner date but I don't think it's worth the $$$

Yelp
Extremely mid for the price. food was decent at best, but so expensive for the quality. Spent an extra $5 PER pierogi to get 5 instead of 3. worse than frozen ones from the grocery store. Drinks were VERY acidic, I sent the first one back (it was the daiquiri special) and the waitress was very kind and offered me a new one. the next drink was just as acidic (gin drink, I forget the name) but I felt bad returning a second one so I drank it and ended up with some wicked acid reflux. Chips app tasted like chips from a bag + hell of a good dip from the grocery store with some scallions tossed on top. Only redeeming dish was the lobster ravioli - the sauce was sooo yummy and perfect spicy level. Mac and cheese was flavorless and a little cold. Service was fantastic though, 5 stars there! Just not worth the hype for this place, I don't think I'll be returning.

Yelp
How I described it to my husband after going with a friend: Drinks and food were really good, service ok. It was a cool place, you go through an ice cream shop to get to it. Loved how the place was dimly lit with cool decor and it was funny how everyone seemed to inadvertently speak in hushed voices at their tables. Great vibes - Looking forward to going back!

Yelp
I visit this place almost every week on the same night with a buddy or two, and the drinks and food are great. I recommend the meatballs and the Negroni. The staff is fantastic, and the bartender, Vicky, is a consistent standout; she's always a pleasure to talk to and offers excellent drink recommendations. This place is worth a visit!

Yelp
Mixed feelings about LTGT. Ambiance was decently cool but I got the feeling that this place has been milking a dated trend and lost some luster. Food was just ok; Kofta Meatballs were cold and hard. Having a difficult time understanding why a fully iced up 12 oz highball of club soda costs $4.00 (2x = $8.00) Seems a bit excessive but could justify price if refills were gratis.

Yelp
Haven't been here for a bit and came with a party of four. We had great and ambiance was so much better because the lighting was brighter. Didn't have to use my phone flashlight!

L L.

Yelp
Cute and hidden speakeasy -- I really like this place. The food is good ,The mixed drinks are great but if they added in a natural wine selection I'd be there much more often! The name is also a really (really) bad choice . I've gotta ask them next time why they named it Less than Greater Than... it's so strange ....

Claire L.

Yelp
Have always had an absolutely wonderful time at less than greater than! The food is incredible; cannot recommend the chicken piccata enough (missing the pierogis though). Sacha gave great suggestions for cocktails and knows how to steer you in the right direction when you aren't sure what you'd like. A great & elegant OG speakeasy vibe all around and I love that there is a local 21+ spot that isn't a dive.

Yelp
Music was a little too loud in our booth, but we forgot all about it because the food was so delicious!

Yelp
Great place, drinks are inventive and made well. Food was great as well. We had their whiskey sours with rye, Horacio velveteens, and some ice cream drinks with liquor. The mussels and the harissa chicken wings, Brussels Caesar and perogies. All was great.

Yelp
I guess this place is considered a "Speak Easy" which I have never experienced before. My friends reside a short walk away & got us a reservation outside for 6:30pm. We walked through the ice cream part down to a special "door" where we needed to give our name & reservation #. We then walked through the bar area, which was very busy, to get to our seat outside. Due to the prices of everything, especially $14 cocktails, we only had a drink each & (2) apps. Our waiter started off by saying that they are mostly known for their signature cocktails. I loved the presentation of mine (see pic). We decided to share the bruschetta & the chips w/ dip. The bruschetta was soggy & loaded with sliced tomatoes. I didn't find it very impressive. The chips & dip weren't much to write home about, as it tasted like kettle cooked chips & onion dip that can be made at home. It was all served promptly, but that's also because it required no cooking. I think it would be well worth it to try again & have an actual dinner. The cost is very high, far more than average, but the atmosphere is unique.

Victoria I.

Yelp
This place is truly a hidden gem! Walked through the ice creamery and was welcomed at the bar! Love the speakeasy vibes, so cozy and music was a good selection. Came here before 11pm on a Friday and they weren't busy but we got our drinks and edible cocktails which was my favorite, the best ice cream I've ever tasted and it was infused with booze! I highly recommend! The staff was so kind and attentive! Thank you all!

Tony D.

Yelp
I have been going Here Since they opened And always had fantastic drinks and food but on Sunday 6/1/25 my wife and I stopped in for a night cap (espresso martini) At first the bartender ignored us and another person cleaning up took our order and told the bartender what we ordered, when we got our drinks they were not in a martini glass no coffee beans and tasted watered down, deffininictly the worst martini we ever had and the smallest.I paid the 30$ plus tip and left. I thought about this for a few days before leaving this review but felt it necessary to let the owners know.
google avatar

Deb D.

Yelp
It was a happy circumstance that I was having dinner in Hudson and bumped into some locals who invited me along to this speakeasy. It is amazing! You wouldn't know it was there at all! Without a local leading the way, I wouldn't have thought this cute town even had a speakeasy. This is a beautiful, timeless, and vintage establishment. Polished yet approachable. Staff are super helpful and friendly. The drinks are fantastic! Top marks! If you are looking for a place to go with friends or to impress a date, this is the place!
google avatar

David N.

Yelp
Top of the line craft cocktail bar. Their selections for classics as well as their own drinks are all well-executed. They both Green and Yellow Chartreuse, so we had a Tipperary and a Greenpoint. Fantastic drinks and attentive service!
google avatar

Lisa U.

Yelp
The best part about this place is a very unique way they mix flavors. From the best, intriguing cocktails to the variety of foods, you're in for a flavor-filled treat. Service as always is friendly and knowledgeable. And the space is cozy and different. Be prepared to be close to others, though, as they try to get as many people as possible into this gem.
google avatar

Christy L.

Yelp
Food and drinks left much to be desired but the worst part was that I entered through the wrong door and was yelled at by a server. I couldn't find the door and went in through what I thought was the door. That set the mood and everything was downhill from there. Definitely will not be back.
google avatar

Kristen L.

Yelp
This spot is definitely a restaurant to experience if you are in Hudson. The restaurant is cozy and the booths are definitely the best seats in the house where you can enjoy your own personal space while also looking out to see what else is going on within the restaurant. The menu is ambitious and overall delivers especially when it comes to the cocktails, dessert, pastas and most of the dishes on the menu. The only dish that was underwhelming was the bao- the bun was way too dense and thick and not airy and light. The bao dish also could have just been a great vegetarian dish that centered around the mushrooms and greens - even though I love bacon it just wasn't the right fit for this dish. S'mores pie was delicious and definitely a dessert that can be shared with 3 or more people. Try the frozen cocktails too! Service was wonderful and music was

Allen L.

Yelp
Food is great and very hot, drinks are great, service is outstanding. We have been enjoying this restaurant for several years and always raved about it, but tonight is the last time. It was so noisy that to talk to my wife sitting right next to me I had to really raise my voice, and to hear the server was almost impossible. And the lighting was so dim you couldn't see the food so if you wanted to dip something it was very difficult to find the bowls of dip. We were at the left end of the room in a small alcove. All four of us decided to go else where and left very sad.
google avatar

Uche N.

Yelp
Very strange experience here. It one of those drink places that probably shouldn't have a food menu. I was there almost a month ago but the experience still feels fresh in my mind. It seemed like our waiter was immediately upset with us from the beginning. We order several appetizers and when we were finished he never came around to collect the plates. When our entrees were dropped off he still never collected any of the small plates of the dishes the appetizer came in which made for an instantly insanely crowded table. It seemed like he was trying to spend a minimal amount of time at our table. Half of us got the burger which came with a salad, we asked if we could substitute the salad for fries and he said it was fine. He ended up not substituting this but just doing the upcharge. I think he was intentionally unclear that it would not be a substitute but an additional upcharge, because again he was trying to spend as little time at the table as possible. I would've just taken the salad home and been fine with the upcharge but since he said he would be a substitute it felt very not ok. Overall I would probably never return bc the experience truly mortified me. Also, one of the entrees took an additional 20 minutes to come out and the waiter never came over to say that it would take a long time or explain so we were all just confused. I don't recommend this place at all. It was pretty empty inside which made for a quiet atmosphere but maybe it's a reflection of the not so great quality. The burger was a 4/10. I was very disappointed. Lastly when my friend spoke up about the dishonesty with the substitute to the manager she was apathetic and essentially shrugged.

Margaret T.

Yelp
Love the ambiance, food and cocktails here! Such a great surprise in Hudson. Plus the service is top notch. Our waitress Sydney was super attentive and gave great service:)

Gerardo O.

Yelp
Best speakeasy ive been to. The drinks are amazing. Sacha was hospitable and kind. He was able to make me a fan of a gin drink and I despise gin. What an amazing bartender you guys have.

Courtney R.

Yelp
Love this place! Super cool vibe. Sacha is one of the bartenders and he makes amazing drinks!
google avatar

Yelp
Parking-not easy Food-didn't like my burger, small, probably over cooked Drink-made a like Baileys. Not good, Get real Bailey's French fries-too salty Service-good Ambience-cool Cleanliness-clean Would go back Stay focused on the food and drinks Focused foodie

Mason B.

Yelp
I had a fantastic time tonight! Service was amazing and the food was phenomenal. Sacha behind the bar was super helpful and knowledgeable about the cocktails and created a very welcoming atmosphere. Looking forward to coming back soon and would absolutely recommend!

Max G.

Yelp
My favorite place to grab a drink! Sacha is one of the most creative and passionate bartenders I've ever met. They have something for everyone, even the non-alcoholic options are worth stopping by for. In terms of food, ever since they added the Steak Danish to the menu I've continued to order it every time I go. If you're in the area and don't stop by you are doing yourself a disservice!

Dan F.

Yelp
Incredible cocktails, every drink I've ever had here is top notch. Sacha is a great bartender with an encyclopedic knowledge of his craft.

Jeffrey G.

Yelp
You might have missed this little jewel and if so I'm sorry. While it was a little chilly tonight, Less than Greater than makes up for it with great drinks and excellent customer service. The invisible goose cocktail along with the bartender Alex, made the experience well worth the 20 min wait.

Beatriz Elena N.

Yelp
Great spot! Love the vibe and the menu! Sacha was awesome and made the best drinks. Highly recommend for a chill night out!

Torwah N.

Yelp
First off, the speakeasy was located in an ice cream shop. You just have to flip a light switch and they open the secret door. That was super cool. The vibe inside is exactly what a speakeasy should feel: low-key quiet and romantic. They played 90's jams that I kept shazamming. Now on to the food and drinks, which was outstanding. I ordered the smoked ribeye and an old-fashioned drink. The smoked ribeye could be on the list of best things I've ever eaten. The old-fashioned was really good 9/10. If you are ever in the Hudson area run over here and have a meal with a cocktail because they, do it right.

Mike R.

Yelp
Great food and even better cocktails! Cool vibe with very attentive staff! Feels silly writing a review about a place whose whole vibe is to stay under the radar, but it 100% leans into the speakeasy vibe and was a pleasant surprise after hearing friends mention they'd want to try it before. Would definitely return here again! Plus it's in my favorite ice cream shop so it has that going for it too.

Siaw-Yuen N.

Yelp
We were so looking forward to this and made a reservation for 6 for the family on a Friday night 7:15pm. Nothing was noted ahead of time and we got turned down at the door because my two kids are under 21! Even under parents' and grandparents' supervision. A big disappointment and we had to scramble to find another place to eat for 6 at 7:20pm with very hungry bellies!! This is very unexpected and I urge you to revise your policy! Will you turn away ladies with infants?

Steph C.

Yelp
This restaurant is just OK. It's trying too hard to be hip and inventive. Our server was not good and this brought the experience way down. She did not point out specials or offer any insight on the menu. They were out of a couple of drinks (?) and we were told "we don't have that". That's it. No recommendation of something similar or further response. It was like talking to a robot. The drinks we did finally receive were decent and the prices were fair. She rarely came back to check on us. Food - There were some hits and misses here. We shared a few Less Than plates. In a small order of mussels, 4 were unopened. Not sure why you would even put them on a plate. Wings were decent. Saganaki Rolls, just ok, not a lot of flavor. Steak was just ok, some pieces were very tough. Tuna was good, probably the best thing on the table. Mac & Cheese - it was dry and tasteless. Might be ok for a couple drinks and an app but overall, the cost is Greater Than what it should be for this experience.

Yelp
So, this is our second time dining here and I have to report it's a mixed bag. First of all, the crew is anxious to please. Kerri was our server and friendly, attentive and courteous throughout our visit. However, this quasi speak easy is dark, crowded and noisy. We couldn't see what was written on the menu without using the flashlight on our phones. The biggest negative was my drink. I ordered the Old Fashioned with bourbon. It was delicious. It comes in a half glass. However, the drink comes with an enormous ice cube taking up half the volume. When I lifted it out, there was a miniscule amount of drink. For$13, I'll never order that again. I ordered the chicken dish. It was a fried block of juicy chicken in a red bowl of spicy Angel hair pasta. Outstanding! My love had the cod dish in a ring of tzadiki sauce. She is an expert on cod and complained it was too salty. Kerri promised to pass that along to the chef. This was date night and certainly not a waste but with so many great choices in Hudson, we'll go elsewhere next time.

Yelp
Awesome drinks and food Plus an amazing atmosphere that adds to downtown Hudson. Bartenders are consistent and have serviced the location for years

Daniel P.

Yelp
The food is great, the drinks are legendary. Great place to have a sweet tooth, with multiple drinks featuring ice cream from the shop outside. Ambiance is elegant, service is impeccable. One of my all-time favorites.
