"Off the beaten tourist track, chef Morgan Ortéga goes straight to the essentials: industrial loft interior, open kitchen, huge bay window, glazed wine cellar and leather bench seats. His talent and skill metamorphose market-fresh produce, enabling each ingredient to shout its name, to the delight of diners." - Michelin Inspector
A lovely place for a delicious lunch! Lowkey beach vibe. Friendly too!

Absolutely amazing food. We had the bacon with lentils, salmon with pancakes, sole and the lamb. Very fresh ingredients and the most amazing sauce. Desserts were a delicious wrap up to a perfect meal.

Restaurant Français near Bearix is top-tier. The modern decor and innovative yet traditional French food really make it stand out. The pigeon and boeuf are must-tries, and the tarte pistache is a fantastic finish.
Despite the high standard of the food, the prices are surprisingly reasonable. Feels like Michelin quality without the price tag. Definitely recommend!

Very accommodating to my kids and child-friendly. They served my kids a chicken and vegetable plate that could have easily outdone lots of upscale chicken plates in the US. Adult food was of course delicious as well.

Absolutely deserved the rate they have (4.9 at the time if our visit). Best service we had on the trip (extra points for soeaking portuguese :) ) but also the best food! We had fish, pigeon, lamb chop and a veggie risotto and everything was amazing. Great experience, we all want to go back there again!

Haute cuisine at its essence. This dining experience can be matched with a Michelin Star restaurant. A hidden gem in Saint Jean de Luz, and a must visit for gourmet travelers.
