"This contemporary bistro is the HQ of Frenchman Charles Thuillant and Korean Mi-Ra Kim. This globetrotting couple, who met in Ze Kitchen Gallery, a mecca of French-Asian cuisine, also have stints at Robuchon, L'Épi Dupin and Le Chateaubriand under their apron strings. But it was ultimately in Deauville, where Charles spent his holidays as a child, that they opened their own restaurant. Together, they conjure up vibrant, lively dishes in which Normandy country produce is allied with perfectly judged Asian influences, for example marinated fish, lime, Thai curry emulsion; octopus, coco de Paimpol beans, mango vinegar; nodi marini pasta, oysters, wakame, crunchy vegetables; or Simmental beef, roast seasonal vegetables, samsang jus." - Michelin Inspector

The food was incroyable From the amuse bouche to the final financier it was a delight for alll the senses The beef ‘Asian soup’ starter was so delicate and delicious The fish curry main course was perfectly balanced The fruit sorbet dessert was the best tasting rhubarb was something really special The wine was very good if a bit pricey They were slightly too busy for the number of staff on so the service was a bit slow to respond to more wine etc

We had lunch at this restaurant and were totally satisfied. Food was great, location is nice (we sat outside) and price for lunch was reasonable. Special request in terms of ingredients due to pregnancy were reflected professionally by the chef - thx. 🙏

What a fabulous lunch experience for a party of six. A lovely round table where you're able to watch the "action" in the kitchen. The bisque was especially delicious. The mâitre d' was lovely and the service was great. Wines from €50 were good quality and the menu @€45 was value for money.

We like to eat at good restaurants with high recommendations and this was 6 of the best courses of food we've had in some time. Classy venue with a full floor to ceiling window into the immaculate kitchen. We were set at ease immediately with the surroundings, comfy seating and excellent service from the staff. We had a great bottle of Sancere recommended by the waiter (just over 50 Euros) to accompany the 6-course set menu (81 Euros each) chosen for the table. Starting with a tartare of veal with smoked eel - packed with flavour and texture set the trend for the next courses, a cold delicious bisque with tuna, pasta with oyster, Iberian pork, Normandy cheese, and then a choice of great desserts. Highly recommended.

Very underwhelmed. The food was a 6/10, the service from our waiter was subpar and it felt like we were forgotten on multiple occasions. The bus and other staff were very friendly though. Our wagyu was served blue (below rare) which would be ok if it wasn’t extremely chewy and somewhat of a chore to get down. Same goes for the beef tatak, which was also surprisingly bland for how beautiful the presentation was. Both sauces and accompaniments were totally misplaced for the type of meat served. As someone who is well versed in both Korean and French cooking I feel that the fusion element didn’t add anything to these dishes. It actually subtracted. It was really forgettable, which was such a disappointment. The waiter more or less disappeared after our mains were served. I ordered another glass of wine to go with my cheese course, and the wine never arrived. The waiter never came back outside until after dessert was served. Luckily the busboy came by and asked why I wasn’t eating my cheese. The food was ok. I wonder if it stands out in Deauville because practically every other restaurant serves more or less the same menu. As an outsider I feel this left a lot to be desired and tbh I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant. There were other issues but I don’t want to keep writing about this. Stick to the other repetitive restaurants in Deauville and don’t expect a sensational meal during your visit here.

Excellent food, creatively executed to perfection. I wouldn’t be surprised if they are awarded a second Michelin star. Will definitely go back a second time.

We had a great food experience with 7 rounds. A little disappointed in the service that was not always attentive and the main part of the meal that had to return to the kitchen because of a mistake that one would not expect on this level.

Exceptional service and wonderful atmosphere. All team wearing masks correctly and compliments to the kitchen for an incredible meal. Unfortunately I was eaten alive by mosquitos as the door to outside was wide open for circulation but all in all a great dinner.
