Eat Out to Help Out Restaurants on the List in London | Eater London

"The creators of London’s most well-known and adored katsu sando are currently offering that, plus an Iberican pork burger from their pop-up location on Soho’s Old Compton Street. Inside a toasted brioche bun, it is topped with melted American cheese, and furnished with kimchi and gherkins. Open from 6 p.m. Monday — Wednesday." - Adam Coghlan

L’ETO offers a cozy yet upscale café experience with a wide selection of beautifully presented cakes, pastries, and Mediterranean-inspired dishes. The ambiance is warm, with elegant decor and a relaxed vibe. Their desserts, especially the honey cake and pistachio roulade, are standout treats, both visually appealing and delicious. While the food quality is excellent, the prices are on the higher side, and service can sometimes be slow during busy hours. However, it’s a great spot for a leisurely coffee and dessert experience in the heart of Soho.

Best Vanila Milk Cake or as thet say Vanilla Dulce de Leche!! I went here just for desserts and they see the best Vanilla Milk Cake I ever tried. It just melts in mouth. So juicy and so soft. It's a must have. There ambiance was also good. And great staff.

For the number of times I’ve been to L’ETO and the number of people I’ve gotten here to try the Vanilla Dulce de Leche (Milk Cake), they should be giving me a lifetime subscription to this cake. For the 1000th time now, the milk cake, thanks to Alia Bhatt, is one of the best cakes they’ve got. I’d say just go in and have this cake and you’ll leave happy and content. The cake literally melts in your mouth, it’s crazy. 🥹 The staff as usual are really friendly, we even got free cake because the server could not place the cake upright. We wouldn’t have even cared about it, but how very sweet of him. There are 2 L’ETOs in SoHo itself, if you’re late and looking for the milk cake, try both the locations. 100% recommend, I take everyone to this place for this cake.

We had the hazelnut tiramisu which was really nice. It was a good portion size which we shared between too and coffee. A little pricey, but that’s London!

We were walking around Soho and decided to visit this plas as it was quiet and had such a great display with all their cakes. I have to say that was a great choice and the cakes are very tasty. We had pistachio and saffron cake which were amazing. Our server were Russ , very polite and kind and very knowledgeable about all those cakes also very nice and friendly service. I’d recommend this place and I hope I will bring my mum there one day. Thank you.

We tried saffron milk cake dessert. It was just an amazing dessert I've ever had. They have vanilla favor as well. Must try both of them. The ambiance is just perfect if you want to grab small nibbles or just the dessert.

This was a discovery. I’ve walked past a few times admiring the cakes in the window. Today we came in and had apple pie/strawberry cheesecake and their ‘winter’ tea… it was so good. This tea was so fruity and other teas for each season too as well as normal teas. Lots of savoury options available too. Staff friendly and helpful. Good value for money and nice for a treat!

I had classic carrot cake and it was really scrumptious. It had walnuts inside and sultanas and proper cream cheese. It’s quite pricey at £9 but it’s a generous portion so worth it. Lovely surroundings and comfortable seating. Service was good and relaxed. Not on menu but friend wanted hot chocolate and they can offer that. Definitely hit the sweet spot. Will come again next time for sure.
