The 19 Best Desserts In London - London - The Infatuation

"Perfect for anyone who’s been dreaming of that Matilda cake since they were six-years-old, the old fashioned chocolate cake from L’eto is a four-tier thing of beauty with chocolate cream and raspberry between each layer. In case you’re having a sugar crash just reading this, know that the raspberries cut through the richness and there’s a variety of other options available too. There’s also plenty of seating in this flower-filled Soho spot." - heidi lauth beasley, jake missing, rianne shlebak, daisy meager, sinead cranna

Leto has always had great cakes, and also very decent food. Coffees and teas, together with juices, makes a great experience for anyone. The reason of the 3 stars is just the prices, as they managed to get more and more expensive with every year, resulting in paying 11 pounds for a small piece of cake. This is the only reason why I wouldn’t recommend the place, and why I probably won’t come back.

The cakes were amazing—especially the caramel honey, which quickly became a new favourite. I’d happily return just for its incredible flavour! The green ball cake, however, was a bit dry despite its nuts, chocolate and caramel filling. The other cakes were tasty, too, but the service from the waitstaff could use some improvement 😊.

Was walking towards Piccadilly Circus and passed by L'eto. Their incredible window display of cakes immediately drawn my attention. Wasn't expecting to buy any cake, however everything looked so delicious, that i couldn't just pass by without try it. Everything looked so good and there was so much variety that it was very difficult to choose just one. I end up asking for a slice of toffee caramel cake iriska to take away. The staff was really nice and prepared my order very quickly. The cake was soo good, so diferent on anything I tasted before. I will definitely visit again next time in London and can't wait to try some of the other itens. The price is a bit high (around £8.00) but to be fair it was worth it. So if you want to treat yourself, this place definitely deserves a stop

This must be my 3rd visit to Leto cafe. This time came with my parents who are visiting London for the first time and they wanted to have the popular milk cake. We ordered milk cake, cherry chocolate cake slice and a Japanese tea pot which we shared between the 3 of us. TBH they loved it esp the milk cake. The cherry chocolate cake was just okay. I loved the tea though - it was hot and soothing plus it was enough quantity for 3 people (2 serves for each of us) . Elly served us and she was excellent- very polite , welcoming and gave great suggestions about what to order. The cake slices are big and filling, so be mindful when you’re ordering. Also there is great range of desserts to choose from. Absolutely a must go for people with a sweet tooth.

The pastries we tried were really tasty and creative. They had a big variety of different pastries to choose from and new ones every time we visited. The service was really kind and ready to help with questions.

A perfect place for those with a sweet tooth! Choosing a dessert was tough because of the huge selection. I finally went with the chocolate fudge, and it was amazing. My friend had the honey cake, which was good but not as impressive as mine.

My partner and I visited this place today (14/06/2025 14:00-16:00) after often walking past and admiring the beautiful cakes in the window. They definitely caught our eye — which I now think might just be the way to get people in. We weren’t looking for a full meal, just tea and cake. The atmosphere was okay, quite busy with people coming and going. There were around 20–30 tables inside, and while it wasn’t packed, there were 4–5 staff members on the floor. We were seated quickly, but it took 30 minutes before anyone took our order — only after we flagged someone down. The staff member who seated us didn’t seem very friendly either. It felt like we were a bit of a burden. I ordered an English Breakfast tea (loose leaf) and a slice of Snickers cake. The tea was disappointing — no tea leaves in the pot, the pot itself didn’t pour well, and the taste was underwhelming. The Snickers cake was a generous slice and tasted nice. I didn’t finish it all, but they did give me a takeaway box when I asked. My partner had an Oreo milkshake and the chocolate fudge cake. The milkshake looked great, though the cream tasted like it came from a squeezy can. The fudge cake was very rich, but it had a cherry or strawberry jam topping, which wasn’t mentioned on the menu and wasn’t to our liking. Overall, the food was okay — nothing special — but the service let the experience down. No one checked on us once we got our food, and we had to ask to get the table cleared only when we ask for the bill. The bill also had service charge of 13.50% automatically added, which brought it to nearly £40 — not worth the food or the long wait, in our opinion. What was especially frustrating was seeing an other couple arrive 20 minutes after us, eat, and leave — all before we’d even finished ours. Unfortunately, we won’t be returning.
