What a gem, my wife and I went there for lunch, food was fantastic we had the baked potato with brisket and a salad. The atmosphere was warm and the Gilmore Girls themed coffee was a hit with my wife. I had the 50’s style root beer which did not disappoint. Had local artwork on the walls which you could purchase. Local business supporting locals!!!Will be back absolutely loved it!!!

Just tried out Let’s Eat Texas and I’m telling you right now… this place is AMAZING! 🙌 I ordered the French toast platter with a sweet tea, and everything was on point. The toast was fresh and soft, the home fries (potatoes) were hands down the BEST I’ve ever had at a restaurant, and the sweet tea? Man, it beats McDonald’s, Raising Cane’s, AND Chick-fil-A. 💯 It came with one french toast but I added another so that’s why it’s 6 pieces rather 3. Do that also. 😄 My wife had the biscuits and gravy platter, and it was so good that before I could even look up, she was already halfway through her plate—so no pics of that one, lol. The whole meal was fire—worth every penny. I could honestly eat here every morning for breakfast. If you’re reading this, do yourself a favor and come try this spot ASAP!

This place is a hidden gem in downtown Killeen. The food is always delicious, amazing, and has a beautiful presentation. The atmosphere is very uplifting and clean. The waitress and staff are so friendly and caring. They have fun events and the food and drinks are so good!! I highly recommend checking them out!

I call this place my happy place. Wether it's the farmhouse cozy ambience that reminds me of my hometown in California, the amazing folks that work here, or the food that tantalizes my tongue with Praise God deliciousness man I can't just pick one. I've fallen in love here and I had to share with my sister. I checked out their special Saturday last weekend. We had a flight of delicious mimosas.My favorite was the dragon fruit one. I had an amazing breakfast bowel with brisket. It was what I call Amen &see the face of God- delicious because it so good you start thanking the Lord. Man at least I do. I'm a foodie through and through. The meal I had was tasty and fresh because it's make inhouse. My sister let me taste her crepes which made me weep with joy! I haven't had crepes that good since left California. During the week day I come in to enjoy their hot girl summer ube cold brew. Man, cold brew lends a deep chocolate undertone to the coffee. I love it with extra vanilla in mine and drink it in deep with my eyes closed to savor the flavors. If your looking for a place to relax. Come here! If your looking for fresh made from scratch food with locally made ingredients then come here. Date night come here. Looking for something new?! Come here. This is a must stop if you're in downtown Killeen. It is truly a hidden treasure. Scratch made food and a drink menu that will satisfy any coffee enthusiast as they have a full coffee bar or anyone wanting to try a drink that's out of this world with over 50 flavors to add and create your ultimate creation.

One of the best breakfast spot in the killeen area. I love biscuits and gravy. Corn based waffle is so good.

So was taking a friend downtown yesterday and she asked have you ate yet? I was like no so she was like. Let's try this little place over here. I was like OK went in this place is absolutely adorable. It is straight Texas.🤠 The service was good. The food was good and the place is good for breakfast and lunch. They don't serve dinner. The prices are reasonable the food is great and they do private groups. If you want to have a meeting or a luncheon😉 By the way if you're wondering what we ate in these cute little dishes that they serve in. I had a breakfast omelette and my friend had the all meat omelet😋

Super cute little place downtown! I have been trying to come in here and finally did and I loved it! I’m super excited for their events that are coming up. Our server Beth was sweet, informative, and attentive. We will for sure be back.

I randomly found this spot by accident and very happy I did. Did not expect Killeen to have a spot like this. The inside was super cool. Rustic and clean! The service was great! But to make it even better, the food was perfect! Everything is made from scratch. All the way down to the ketchup. We tried as much as we could and look forward to coming back! Great spot for breakfast, and the lunch looked just as good.

We were in Killeen and about to head to a chain restaurant for breakfast. We decided to look for something local and I'm so glad we did. Let's Eat Texas is right in downtown in the middle of the revitalization area. They are farm to table and the environment is so cool. There is an open kitchen so you can see the food being made. We had the breakfast sandwich and breakfast burrito and both were great. The larger plates looked very good but we weren't very hungry today. Our server, Beth, was wonderful. We will be back.

Bam. Downtown Killeen's heartbeat. Juicy brisket (no sauce needed, but the smoky sauce is great). "Paramedic" strawberry chai = unexpected miracle. Friendly staff, open kitchen, quick service, easy vibe. Could eat here every day. Five stars.

Unfortunately the venue is the only nice thing about this establishment. The food is beyond bland. The Brisket had no flavor and was extremely dry looked more along the lines of pulled pork. The potato salad was extremely off putting seeing the potatoes were undercooked if they were cooked at all they taste like raw potatoes, seeing our waitress told us it would be served hot....... It was ice cold btw. The baked beans were mid nothing to talk about didn't finish them. Overall the food was extremely disappointing seeing the inside of the establishment was nice. Thought it would have been a hit but definitely one of the biggest flops I've had the displeasure to eat at. Overall they deserve at least a star because they put food on a plate but that's all they really did. Will never be returning.

The food is amazing and I would highly recommend it, the inside of the restaurant has some comforting style interior and and open kitchen.

Wish it was open on the weekends. Husband and I enjoyed our freshly make breakfast! And the latte delicious.

Recently had the pleasure of dining at 'Let's Eat Texas' in Killeen, and it was a truly remarkable experience from start to finish. Service was good food came out quickly and was excellent and the atmosphere of the place was very nice.

I ordered breakfast to go for my wife and I. My wife wanted biscuits and gravy but the person taking my order said, "We don't have any biscuits." What!? Then why is biscuits and gravy on the menu? So I ordered two regular breakfasts--eggs, bacon, potatoes. I asked do we get toast? She said, "Bread does not come w breakfast." What!? Never in my life have I ordered breakfast at a restaurant which did not at least include toast. This makes no sense. The breakfasts were good but this restaurant is strange. I don't think they know actually how to operate a restaurant. I was the only customer there btw.

The atmosphere is cute and very nice but the Brisket Philly cheesesteak sandwich was dry and the meat did not look like beef. It looked more like pull pork. Server was awesome. I will go back for the breakfast. Presentation on the plating was great but the food was bland and meat was questionable.

I accidentally found this place today, thanks to the Veterans Day Parade. It was cold outside and we had an hour to kill before the parade began. It's a cute coffee shop (with amazing blueberry muffins!) I can't wait to try the many options on the menu. You wouldn't believe how much room is in this place from the outside. Such a cozy atmosphere with WiFi. To enjoy the place more, I may go back just to work on some fun projects. An added perk that I will DEFINITELY be taking advantage of is the cooking classes that are offered here. A wide array of classes are offered at a reasonable price. I am excited to back!

Went here for the first time today. While the place looks great, the people there weren't very welcoming and the food we at was bland and not very unique. I'd say I could have cooked the meal better at home. They have very little for there vegan option as well. I will not be a return customer. I was so hoping we would have a new and just as good or better option for dining for this area which is so needed but if this is it I will be choosing something different. I'm very disappointed with this restaurant if you haven't guessed by now. I'm giving it 2 stars and that is me having mercy.

Warm and welcoming place with great food that has been locally sourced. Open for lunch Monday through Friday. Highly recommend givi ng it a try!

Lunch today at Let's Eat Texas. I thought this place would be busy but only one other table was occupied. This place was such a disappointment I hardly know where to start. I did not find it warm and welcoming. I had to ask several times for a menu and was finally told there were no menus. Someone scrounged up a menu and I ordered herbal tea, the brisket plate with coleslaw and baked beans. When the food arrived, there was a generous portion of brisket and only a minuscule amount of beans and coleslaw. The coleslaw had so much vinegar in it I couldn't eat it. The beans were cold and had jalapeno in it and I couldn't eat that either. The brisket was dry and cold. I'll just eat elsewhere.

What a sweet little restaurant!! Today was a rainy and cool day so grilled cheese and tomato basil soup! Yum! Next a cappuccino!! Everything was delish!

When you walk into this little slice of heaven in downtown Killeen it is such a surprise. The decor is so beautiful and done with such care! Everyone from the owner to the staff treat you special. The food is amazing. We were lucky enough to get tickets for their New Years Eve prime rib dinner and we were not disappointed. The intimate atmosphere was perfect for saying goodbye to the old and ring in the new!

This place is fantastic. Fresh, thoughtful,and delicious. I had lunch there yesterday with a customer and the bread was fresh, the staff and chef were friendly and inviting. If your looking for a special, delicious, no chain lunch... this is your place.

Love this restaurant I work in the downtown Killeen District and we're so excited about having a great coffee shop and lunch venue. The breakfast tacos are amazing! Went for lunch today and the brisket was delicious very large portion and the cucumber salad was so fresh couldn't stop eating it. Love the ambiance and decor this is a place that you would enjoy just sitting and working on your laptop or reading a good book. Very relaxing and cozy!!! GREAT BARISTA!!!
