Lincoln Road’s Nexxt Cafe Abruptly Shutters | Eater Miami

"I noted that Ad Lib at 2415 Ponce de Leon Boulevard is closing after nine months on October 18; it opened in February under Jamie DeRosa and Hedy Goldsmith (who left a few months later), later tapped Norman Van Aken and then Joe Mizzoni to lead the kitchen, and 50 Eggs CEO John Kunkel said the group is "evolving" and plans to convert the space into a specialized venue for new restaurant development and private events next year." - Olee Fowler

Look Inside Jamie DeRosa and Hedy Goldsmith’s Bright and Airy Eatery, Ad Lib | Eater Miami

"Opened by Jamie DeRosa and Hedy Goldsmith with John Kunkel of 50 Eggs, the new 106-seat restaurant and lounge in Coral Gables at 2415 Ponce de Leon Blvd offers modern American cuisine that reflects both chefs' strengths. The à la carte dinner menu begins with small plates such as zucchini blossoms stuffed with ricotta, sumac and preserved kumquats; skewered Iberico pork with aji amarillo and Japanese pickles; and dry-aged beef tartare with caviar and white miso, while larger pasta, meat and seafood dishes include a New York strip served with heirloom carrots, eggplant and black sesame béarnaise; branzino with littleneck clams; and a rib cap with romanesco, hen of the woods, and ricotta dumplings in black truffle butter. An 18-seat communal Chef’s Table on the main floor offers a tasting menu of four courses for $65 or six for $85. Goldsmith’s desserts put spins on the classics, from a strawberry pavlova with lemon curd, olive oil cake and Campari sorbet to a brown butter semifreddo with Moroccan spices, pistachio halvah and apple confit, and a bittersweet chocolate tart with sourdough gelato, blood orange marshmallows and salted caramel. Sam Ross oversees cocktails and Daniel Toral leads the wine program, and the 4,000-square-foot space—revamped from its Swine days—features whites, varying shades of blue and yellow, brass and gold accents, navy blue leather and herringbone banquettes, teak and marble tabletops, suede and leather chairs, and white brick and textured tiled walls; art includes floor-to-ceiling gold Montera leaves hand-painted by Austin Kerr and original canvases by Tony Larson and Betsy Eby showcased in a gallery-like setting. Ad Lib is now open Sunday through Thursday from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m., with lunch service starting February 18 from noon to 3 p.m. and brunch to follow; for more information call 305-504-8895." - Olee Fowler

I recently hosted my birthday party at Levant, and I honestly couldn’t be happier! From start to finish, everything was absolutely spectacular. The owner went above and beyond to bring my vision to life — from the stunning decor and beautiful setup to the incredible food, drinks, music, and overall vibe. The entire team’s customer service was top-notch, and every single detail felt thoughtful and perfectly executed. My guests had an amazing time, and I’m still getting compliments about how beautiful and fun the night was! If you’re looking for a place that truly cares about your event and makes sure everything is perfect, Levant is the spot. Whether it’s a small gathering or a big celebration, I’ll definitely be hosting more events here again in the future. ✨ Thank you to the Levant team for making my birthday unforgettable!

Feeling so grateful — and a little extra bougie 💅✨ — for the incredible team at Levant who hosted us for our post-Pilates pour this weekend 🥂🍵☕️ From the perfectly whisked matcha to the chilled prosecco (and every chic detail in between), the experience was absolutely flawless. The space was the ideal backdrop for our Pilates & Prosecco morning — equal parts cute, classy, and community-filled 💖 What we loved most is how large group–friendly Levant is — their team welcomed our entire crowd with ease, warmth, and amazing service. It’s the perfect spot for hosting events, gatherings, or any large party that loves good vibes, great drinks, and a beautiful aesthetic 🌸 We absolutely loved sipping, chatting, and snapping all the Miami-bougie vibes 🌴✨ Highly recommend Levant for anyone looking for the perfect balance of luxury, flavor, and community ✨

I had a great time, the food was out of this world. Also Rahnia is an amazing bartender hands down. She made me and my friends Mango and Strawberry Cosmos then a Strawberry Mojito. The drinks were bomb thank you queen, keep slaying.

Google
Levant is a refreshing place to get a Mediterranean dinner with quality food. The bread is not out of this world because they serve it but the taste is. The appetizers are delicious and you will find it hard to get a tastier hummus elsewhere. The lamb had good flavor with a crispy salad. The salmon was cooked right and the chocolate baklava was unique.

Google
Great food and service, but beware of a 20% service charge! Food - tried the trio mezze platter - highly recommend! Service - nice staff, but not too attentive Atmosphere - feels sterile even though there is nice decor. It is quiet and does not feel cozy. But it is beautiful and good for a quiet dinner.

Google
A modern restaurant with a chic atmosphere, elevated by smooth Sade-style music. The vibe is classy and relaxed, and the food was truly outstanding.

My boyfriend and I visited Levant Coral Gables on Saturday. We did not have a reservation but were seated, and both the gentleman at the door and our server were very kind. Unfortunately, the food quality did not live up to expectations. We started with pita and hummus. While the hummus portion was generous, the pita was not very good, and when we asked for an extra piece, we were surprised to see it cost $5, which feels steep. For my entrée, I ordered the beef kabob, which was hard and chewy instead of tender. At $28, it also came with no side options, only bread, which I wish our server had mentioned—because then we wouldn’t have ordered more pita. In total, we had just the hummus appetizer and two entrées, with no drinks, and the bill still came out over $100, including a mandatory 20% tip. For the quality and portion sizes, this feels very overpriced. The restaurant itself is beautiful and the staff was kind, but unfortunately, the food and value were very disappointing. I would not come back, which is a shame since it was supposed to be a nice date night.

Google
This is a cool spot for halal Mediterranean “fancy” dinner. However, the high prices don’t reflect the quality/taste of the food or the service. We enjoyed the hummus and bread quite a bit - the bread was fresh and fully inflated, which is fun. The rest of the meal was alright/average. We got a traditional Labanese dish and a regular American type of burger, and overall it’s not a place we’d visit again but not bad to try out! (PS - I went here Fall 2024, only a few months ago)

Yelp
Two Sundays ago hubby and I tried out this restaurant and were pleasantly surprised! The service, food and ambiance -- with Bossa Nova covers playing in the background -- was just the vibe we needed for a Sunday afternoon :) It was a perfect setting and timing, as we got to choose from the once a year "Taste the Gables" 3-course menu! Definitely give it a try!

Yelp
This review is for a birthday celebration on the second floor and not the restaurant itself. The hummus and pita bread were out of this world. The chicken wraps were a nice surprise filled with french fries, but the highlight of the night was the DJ - playing classics and many throwbacks; did a great job reading his crowd. The drinks were a hit or miss.

Yelp
This restaurant is located where "Swine" used to be, for those who may recall it. It's 2-stories, with no elevator. A nicely decorated entry at its main level with bar and some tables make the place feel inviting and fun for quick bites and drinks. The second floor has a private events room, which on the day of our visit was being used, it looked like fun but way too many guests for the room size therefore some were hanging out just outside, which is where the dining tables are located, it didn't bother us, but some diners might mind the crowd and noise level as the music from the event room competes with the restaurant music playing. Service and food were very good, our waitress was very friendly and made great suggestions. Salmon skewers and lamb shops were our favorite as well as the appetizers, definitely try this Mediterranean restaurant for a cozy, unique vibe.

Yelp
Levant is beautifully decorated! This was my first time here and the food didn't disappoint. I will say drinks came out all separately and one of our drinks actually took way too long to come. The food was very delicious and tasty. I went with a group of 6 and ordered mostly all apps. My favorite was the SAGANAKI CHEESE, LAHMAJOUN and the Pita all delicious! I had the chicken skewer and it was cooked perfect and juicy. There was a private party on top floor so the music got very loud but overall I would recommend coming !

Yelp
Levant in Coral Gables is the real deal. In a city full of "Mediterranean" spots that water down or outright steal an entire culture, this beautiful restaurant on Ponce stands out with authentic Arabic food you can taste. Owned by an Iraqi brother and sister, every bite reflects deep roots and a shared love for the rich, diverse flavors of the Levant. My boyfriend and I popped in for a quick lunch, and from the food to the cocktails, everything was absolutely delicious. Can't wait to come back for more!

Yelp
place is not the same. dont know what happened , food is not the same i think the name change ruined the place . Trying to be a nightclub does not fit this restaurant . We liked going when it was laid back .

Yelp
Visited midweek for a Time left dinner, the location is perfect right on Miracle Mile. Lots of street parking option nearby. It wasn't too busy on a Wed night. Service was great and attentive. The server was able to split our checks easily. Food came out quickly and tasted very good. It was a bit on the expensive side but I guess that's just the neighborhood it's in. They have a full upstairs area that turns into a speakeasy on the weekends. Beautiful decor.

Yelp
Everything was amazing! Service was great, good atmosphere and food was delicious. We started with the cabbage rolls and the grape leaves both are very very good! The trio dip is amazing especially the red dip. The Kibbeh is a must get and the bread too! The veggies and lamb in the pot is delicious and super filling. Rice comes on the side and it comes with bread too. The flavors were amazing. Both lamb kabobs were great I prefer the pistachio one because the other was a little spicy. Will be coming back soon. Miami needs more spots like this.

Yelp
This place was a dope experience. The decor & ambiance was very unique, artistic, & vibely. The food was amazing. They serve FRESH baked bread (I raved about this for weeks) & food. I got some chocolate baklava to go & was again taken aback by how amazing the flavor palette was. Everythiiiiing was flavorful and tasty. It's a cool place to take your friends & family to chill, admire, & dine. The Iraqi cuisine far exceeded my expectations from the food to the mocktails.

Yelp
Levant decor screams out elegance. This restaurant was the perfect place to take my friend who was visiting Florida. The host greeted us right away, looked into our reservation and took us to our table right away. We of course started with an expresso martini which was made to perfection. Then ordered some appetizer which were all delicious and so tasty.

Yelp
Christmas lunch at Levant did not disappoint. The food, service and ambiance was everything we needed. I brought my family here and they loved it. Dana was great and so was Mo, Manuel and the entire staff. Please be sure to check them out and enjoy!

Yelp
The restaurant was recommended so booked it on Xmas for lunch. It was lovely with a gorgeous mural as it was entertaining to try to guess all the artists and famous figures on it from Kobe to MJ. I've seen similar murals at Delilah so could be the same artist who painted it? We ordered one of the lunch specials for $35 where you get to select a mezze and we picked babaganoush eggplant dip which came with their house baked pita and we picked the salmon kebab bowl which is on top of of a bed of rice and a small side salad with some garlic yogurt and their house sauce, and chocolate baklava for dessert. The salmon was good, but lacked a bit of seasoning as it tasted healthy but bland. The chocolate baklava made up for the salmon which was underwhelming. We also ordered a hummus a la carte and the pistachio lamb kebab which was over lavash bread. That was delicious and different w/ crushed pistachios, this was the dish that my friend recommended. Also ordered the Turkish coffee which had a great presentation and prob may have given them 5 stars but was disappointed that we were overcharged for the Turkish coffee at $8 even though it was $5 on the menu. It was too strong and had to ask for a spoon to mix it as the coffee remained on the bottom of the cup so asked for a spoon of milk which I guess they decided to add a $3 up charge for but was not informed of this especially as they also auto added 20% tip which has become a very common thing in Miami. It was Xmas, so I added a tad bit extra of tip so it's not about the nominal amount added but rather the principle of being charged more than what's indicated on the menu yet not being told why ahead of time. They have happy hour from 12-6pm for the mezzes which are $5 but did not see their happy hour cocktail menu so perhaps to try for another time if I make it back as the food and the restaurant were amazing.

Yelp
WOW this food is to die for. We had a holiday team lunch here and primarily, it was the perfect space for mingling and also eating at tables together. For starters we had the hummus, baba, and the most delicious tzatziki dip with warm and salted pita. We stuffed our faces with this and didn't even know how we were going to eat any more. We then had some phenomenal grape leaves as well as cheesy crispy rolls. For mains- the skewers here are delicious- lamb salmon and chicken. I've never tasted salmon that held its juiciness so well(they removed the skewer part which made it easier to eat / share). For desserts we tried a delicious cake as well as a Turkish traditional dessert of tree sap coated with pistachio which is definitely an acquired taste but fun to try! Will be going here again.

Yelp
Incredible is the best choice of words I can use for describing our overall experience last night!!! A true 5-Star experience from the moment we walked in getting a warm welcomefeeling from the hostess who happened to be one of the owners to the end we walked out the other owner walked us out and made us feel like a Ritz experience. Super delicious food, drinks and amazing ambiance coupled with fantastic music. Highly recommended to everyone
google avatar

Blanca M.

Yelp
The food was delicious, and reasonably priced during their lunch special. The pita was baked fresh; lamb came with rice, salad and sauces all which were superb; mocktail was also very good; hummus was perfect and generous; muhamarah was smaller but tasty; dessert was chefs special and had a nice cardamom flavor mixed into the pistachio. Service was also good and it's a nicely modernity decorated space, though one can't help but remember Swine when it was previously there (RIP).

Yelp
This place is actually terrible! I've come twice, and ever since they got rid of the ladies night deal it's not worth it. The food is not great (Hummus has a weird after taste, dolma is very bitter!) They need to up the ante or come up with some sort of gimmick if they want to stay in business. Always empty.
google avatar

Yelp
I'd been eager to try Levant since they opened about eight to ten months ago, but barely ever visit the Gables. I was so excited about it in fact that I sent my sister and brother-in-law there during Miami Spice (they loved it). I finally had the chance to visit a few weeks ago on a Thursday night later in the evening after a networking event. We didn't have a reservation and I was concerned they wouldn't be able to seat our party of four, but luckily, there was one table available. Unlike at many Miami restaurants, the staff greeted us warmly when we walked in, which was a very nice touch. The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated but feels cozy and not stuffy or pretentious. To start, I had the Midnight Kiss mocktail. It was a little on the sweeter side, but still good. For our appetizer, we shared the Trio Mezzo which consists of Hummus, Muhammara and Cretan Feta. It was delicious! When it came time to order out entrees, I had the Pistachio Kabab, and the other ladies ordered the burger, and the Pumpkin Dolma. Everything was delicious and perfectly cooked. Although we hadn't intended to order dessert, the staff graciously sent the Chef's Choice over, on the house. Overall, the experience at Levant was perfect and I would undoubtedly return!

Yelp
Spectacular! Delicious from beginning to end. I loved how everything was a presentation and so tasty. Not to mention the excellent service by Cee Cee! The bartender was killing it with the drinks.
google avatar

Yelp
Wow where do I start. I should have known when I walked in and the restaurant was empty on a Friday night. Food was less than mediocre. Server was very kind and brought a complimentary dessert. Nothing special. Absolutely nothing was satisfying or special. I would t go back. They could really use a better menu with a variety. Turkish food can be so yummy and diverse.

Yelp
A new Middle Eastern restaurant has opened in the Gables! So we had to check it out for dinner. Upon arrival the front door has a hostess waiting outside, very classy and modern interior. The waitress came by and offered water immediately and then we ordered a started of the trio mezze with fresh pita. Wow! The dips were so flavorful and delicious, the pita was hot and puffy from the oven to the table. Next we ordered a few drinks: a Mocktail for me, Lebanon Night, very refreshing and a tequila based cocktail for my friend, the Majnoon. Both were great picks! For the mains we got the salmon kebab and the Antillon Pottery with lamb. The presentation was fantastic for both! The salmon came out on top of a flatbread with a spicy sauce along with onions. My friends dish came from a pot and they poured it onto a plate and the taste was to die for! We finished with some chocolate baklava and some Turkish coffee.
google avatar

Rajiv K.

Yelp
Street parking and valet across the street. Garage nearby too. I got there a bit early for my reservation and was welcomed by a friendly bar tender. Inside ambiance is nice. A live music group was setting up on a Friday. They were pretty good and it got louder as the night progressed Mocktails were creative, refreshing. Ordering went smooth; however, the food did take some time to come out. We were warned one of the dishes may take a while, but even as we suggested to bring out items as they were ready, the entire order was lagged. While the bar tender, host, and managers were all friendly (waitress too), perhaps our waitress was a little over capacity. Had to chase her down for water refills, food, drink orders and then someone else for the bill. Tbh we would have gotten dessert, but the neglect and time accelerated our exit. The food is exceptional and fresh. My favorite was the pistachio crusted lamb kebob. Perfection. I'd return for this! The spicy carrot side was nice as well as the clay pot lamb. On the latter, it was beautifully flavored; yet, for the price, perhaps underwhelming in terms of protein content. The rice was well made as the accompanying garnishes. Nice plating. Overall, a return and recommend. Our particular service this time was a miss, but this could have been due to an off or understaffed evening. Hopefully something for management to keep and eye on and ensure moving smoothly in the future.

Yelp
Best Middle Eastern food I've ever had. Hummus and labneh are a knockout, with great flavor, and extra points on presentation! The muhammara was delicious and nutty, but did not have that much on the dish. I also liked the eggplant salad, which blended with everything really nicely. Carrot dish had some crazy good spices on it, very complex, and overall made for a delicious experience. Service was fast, friendly and professional! Our waitress recommended us several good drinks that impressed us. The ambience is overall very modern and is great at quiet hours for private meet ups and fancy news. This should be on the shortlist for anyone wanting Mediterranean food in the city.

Yelp
Beautiful place but meal was kinda cold and was just ok also kind expensive $50 for to small bowls and 2 ice tea 3.5 stars Maybe 3.7

Yelp
First of all, the service was top notch! The decor is theme appropriate. Beautiful colors! Last the food was amazing! Hummus. Turkish Tea. Everything!

Yelp
Randomly stumbled into this spot today and so glad I did! Very impressed with the creativity of their cocktails and mocktails. And yes friends, LEGIT mocktails (no Shirley Temple or virgin mojito nonsense here). The presentation was beautiful and the food was chef's kiss. Just had a few apps this time, but will definitely be back for dinner. Best Baba Ganoush I've ever had, and the Kibbeh had insane flavor. We sat at the bar and chatted with the head bartender (brother of the owner), very nice guy, great hospitality. Overall was so glad we found a nice little gem.

Yelp
Good, relatively new (few months), upscale Lebanese restaurant in Coral Gables. Nice, upscale ambiance with a modern twist on Lebanese cuisine. I came for lunch and opted to order off of the regular menu. Went with Adana Kabab bowl which featured lamb (bit of a spice to it), rice, onions and mixed greens. Decent size and very flavorful. Enjoyed my meal with an Arnold Palmer iced tea. Will come back again.

Seriosguy B.

Yelp
The service at Levant was extremely disappointing. The managment felt unprofessional and inattentive, some of the food did not live up to the hype--bland, overpriced. I expected a much better experience, drinks are so so .

Yelp
Levant was a nice place ... Great ambiance and service. The music is fun and inviting as well as all the people who work there. We didn't have reservations as the app said it was busy until 9 or so... we decided to risk it and just do a walk-in. It turns out there were tables available and quite a few. We were seated upstairs, and it was their first time opening the second floor. Food and service were still attentive, and always someone available for anything you needed or wanted. The food itself is a bit different than regular Mediterranean. They would like to be known more for their Iraqi roots and style of cooking, which I have to say it was very flavourful. Levant salad was fresh, and the feta cheese was light and not over salty. Kibbes, for example, are a bit different from what we see here from other Arabic restaurants. It is a bit more moist and also a bit different in flavor profile. Salmon kebab was also good ... cooked nicely and served over a pita bread. (similar to pita). Cocktail drinks are really good and presented in a fun, elegant way. Sally, the restaurant owner, was super friendly and helpful in explaining the menu as well as recommendations. Overall, it's a good choice for when you are in the mood for Arabic food.
google avatar

Alyssa G.

Yelp
After a tiring search for a location to host my sister's baby shower, I came across Levant, and am so glad I did! We had such an amazing experience. Moe, the event planner, was super communicative and willing to make whatever we needed work. It was so uncomplicated which I really appreciated. We didn't have to pay a room fee or meet a minimum, we simply reserved the space for our large party and they accommodated. What I loved most about this restaurant as a venue is the atmosphere. It is so beautifully decorated and required minimum decorations. We had the entire first floor to ourselves on a Saturday at lunch time and the servers provided amazing, attentive service. The food was absolutely incredible!! Each dish was more delicious than the last and the portions were so generous. I will return here again and again. The food was so yummy and it has such a great vibe.

Angela S.

Yelp
The restaurant looks insignificant from the outside. Inside is a different story. It's perfect. The drinks were great, the service spectacular and the lamb dish that I ordered was delicious. The salad and the desert. All great. reasonable prices.
google avatar

Olga G.

Yelp
If you follow me, you know I am a huge fan of Middle Eastern food, and I had to check out Levant, a new restaurant in Coral Gables. The restaurant is located just off the Miracle Mile, where Swine used to be. It's beautifully decorated, and the service is attentive and hospitable. The food tasted amazing, and the owner Mo shared that all of the ingredients are locally sourced (except Salmon). My favorites were hummus (perfect consistency and spice), baked pita bread and the baklava (to die for and I am not even a dessert person). The pita sandwiches were ok. I found the pita bread to be too thick, too oily for my taste and heavy on the stomach for our hot summers. Overall, it's a great addition to Coral Gables - check out my pics and stop by for the authentic Middle Eastern food.

Yelp
Miami Food Family invited me to lunch at Levant and it was wonderful! The interior is beautifully redone and perfect for a date night of dinner and drinks. There are specials from 12-6pm which is awesome! We started with the Trio Mezze and Kibbeh(3pieces) and drinks. I had the Fairuz, our friend had the Baghdad Nights, and MFF had the Sultana. All three were gorgeous, artfully crafted cocktails. They were strong and delicious! The bartenders have a passion and it shows! I really wanted to have the Antillon Pottery as an entree but having left my breastfed baby at home, was worried I wouldn't have time to eat it as they said it takes about 20 minutes to cook. So I opted for the Pistachio Kebab. It was very yummy! We also had a dessert that had cheese and shredded pastry and that was very good as well. Lovely experience! Would come back for dinner and drinks in a heartbeat.

Yelp
I can't say I've ever had Levantine cuisine before but i was a fan! We got the Trio Mezee , all three were so good and rich in flavor. The hummus , the muhammara which was roasted red pepper with walnuts, and the Cretan feta with dill and parsley were all amazing. For entrees we got the pistachio kabob which was Minced Lamb, Pistachio, Red Pepper& Middle Eastern Spices with a side of the house fries. We also for the sweet potatoe doma, which included Lamb, Carrots, Rice Seasoned With Iraqi Spice, Side of yogurt, super good mix of flavors! In addition to its delicious food, Levant also offers a variety of Middle Eastern-inspired cocktails. From refreshing and fruity to bold and complex, the restaurant's cocktails are the perfect complement to any meal. This place will surely elevate your dining experience. I got the Habibi come to Dubai one which was Woodford Reserve, Arabic Tea Infusions With Flower and edible gold leaf's, the presentation was better than the taste , for my taste it was a little too smoky but still delicious none the less. They are opening a cigar and hookah bar soon, can't wait to come back to check that out !

Yelp
It was OK... We went for our anniversary. The restaurant is very pretty. Very clean, nice decor. The food was good. It just wasn't anything special. I had to pull out my receipt to remember what we ordered as everything was fine but nothing really stood out. Oh, except the price. This place is EXPENSIVE! My wife's Branzino was $55. Appetizers were $22. My house Malbecs were $18@, cocktails $20@. Pistachio Kabab was $32. And for dessert we shared a very tasty, but small, Baklava for $14(!). With tip we spent almost $300 for dinner for two (including. 2 drinks/wines each & a shared dessert). At Levant I felt like I paid a lot but didn't get a lot back. (If U decide to go anyway, check out the happy hour- Tues-Fri, 4-7pm when prices are more reasonable).
google avatar

Katelyn P.

Yelp
Levant is truly a vibe from start to finish. The drinks were super unique, if you're into cocktails that are crafted with a creative twist, you're gonna love it here. I started with the Sahara, which was sweet and spicy in the best way. But the real showstopper was the "Habibi Come to Dubai" it had the coolest presentation and flavor combo. The ambiance is beautiful and upscale without feeling too formal. Definitely recommend for a chic dinner night out in Coral Gables. Service was amazingly!!

Yelp
A fairly new gem in Coral Gables. I had been wanting to try this place and I am so glad I did. Can't wait to go back! The restaurant is beautiful with a full bar and shhhh there's a speakeasy upstairs. They also have events upstairs. We went for lunch ordered several of the starters $5 each can't be beat. We had the lebneh, babaganoush, dolma, cigar rolls and the feta. An explosion of perfect flavors! I tried one of their speciality cocktails, the manjoong, a tequila infusion with mango, pineapple and lime. Was so delicious I had to get a second

Yelp
5 First of all the service was above and beyond. I called to check if the weight was long and nobody answered. They called me back and made a reservation for me. Then when we arrived, our table was ready. From appetizer to dessert the food could not be better. The hummus was delicious. The lamb was tender and flavorful. The beef was juicy and just the right amount of spice. The ambience is perfect for date night or girls night. And to top it off, they have a cute little lounge upstairs. I definitely will be back sooner than later.

Yelp
This place was absolutely amazing! The food was delicious and the service was super friendly and accommodating. I loved that they explained all the dishes and their origins, which makes it all the more exciting to eat.

Yelp
I have so many good things to say about this restaurant starting with the service. The staff was so welcoming. It almost felt like I was visiting family I hadn't seen in a long time. The ambiance is top notch. Trendy and romantic all wrapped up in one. The food was out of this word. I am the kind of person that gives constructive criticism to improve the food I eat. However, there was nothing that could have been better about everything I ate. My entre was the salmon skewer and it was truly exceptional. It was crispy on the outside and moist on the inside. It paired perfectly with the side salad that accompanied it. The chocolate baklava was a nice twist to the traditional version. At the end I was offered Turkish coffee and tea. Both we're amazing. Overall it was great time spent and I'll be coming back on my next date night. I highly recommend this family owned establishment.

Yelp
We heard so much about Levante that we had to try it out. The service, food, ambiance, and cocktails DID NOT disappoint. If you like true Mediterranean cuisine, unique tasty cocktails, and live entertainment, Levante is a total experience. This family owned restaurant is a gem in the middle of Coral Gables. We received a warm welcome despite not having reservations. Mo, the mixologist, served up tasty cocktails while we waited on our table. We had the Habibi Levante, which consisted of the Chefs choice of appetizers, salad, main courses , dessert, and rose tea, which was the perfect recommendation. The food was fresh, tasty, and plentiful. We will be back!

Yelp
Pretty good middle eastern food but gets a 3 star because quite overpriced. I recommend their kibbeh, chicken skewers, and most important the baklava. Their bread and humus also very nice. Ambiance is great for hanging out with friends and their service is very good.

Yelp
This place is amazing! I had seen it a couple of times on my Instagram and then saw it on Deco Drive on tv, so decided to come and check it out and I'm so glad I did. Since it was my first time visiting I decided to try their miami spice menu to taste a little bit of everything and let me tell you the plate sizes were abundant! You get to choose one dip, starter, salad, main and desert! Since we were a party of 3, we chose one of each of the 3 dips to share, hummus, feta, and muhammara, they were all delicious perfectly seasoned served with their made and baked in house pita bread, we finished all 3 dips. For starters and salad I ordered the grape leaves and the levant salad, perfectly sized as a continuation of our appetizers. For the main entree I asked for the waitress recommendations which she suggested the burger and the levant kabab, which I ultimately opted for the kabab and it was beyond delicious, the lamb was tender and juicy served on top of a pita bread pre sliced so that you can pick it up and eat it like a wrap, served along side with some onion and spicy sauce. We enjoyed this with a nicely chilled bottle of Bordeaux wine. And lastly for desert I chose the made in house baklava and it was as delicious as everything else I had. The service we received from the hostess to our waitress and everyone else was spectacular, everyone was very nice and attentive. The place is beautifully decorated with a a huge painting in the middle of the dining room that makes for a conversation piece. I definitely will be going back, they also have entertainment on certain nights but have to keep an eye out for what night those happen either by following them on Instagram or calling in to find out more.

Yelp
Fabulous middle eastern food!!! Upscale ambiance and great service as well. The type of place that always keeps your water glass full and nicely decorated. We went for the Miami spice lunch (it was Labor Day so they said they were only doing the dinner menu but made an exception for us since we came for lunch which was very nice). The muhammara, feta dip, and hummus were tasty and the pita was so warm and fluffy. The Adana kebab with lamb was so flavorful and came with a nice tahini dip. The baklava was so good; light and nutty with a scoop of chocolate ice cream. However the highlight of the meal was the Turkish coffee!

Yelp
Had really great meal here a couple of weeks ago. We ordered the kabobs, Iraqi salad, and hummus ... all were delicious. The kabobs may have been some of the best I ever had. The service was excellent and we were well taken care of the entire time we were in. The ambiance and atmosphere was modern and classy. The tables were not packed in too close together which was great. We needed to guarantee our table with a 50$ deposit which I had never had to do before. They had run out of house Malbec and when we ordered another we had a small surprise on the bill. All in all, Levant was a really good experience and I will be back.

Yelp
Amazing food! The mezze was good (baba ghanoush, mohammara), pita was very soft, bomba cheese was delicious ad a starter, and the pistachio kabab wad to die for! Drinks were good, too. Excellent, friendly service too. I would highly recommend this place to anyone that likes Middle Eastern cuisine.
