Level Beer: Level 3 Buckman Kerns

No frills. Broadway beer selection, friendly staff. Food is a smashburger cart and a taco truck, both of which are fine (although I am anti-crinkle cut fries. Crinkle cut fries make me think of frozen Ore-Ida french fries from my oven when I was a child. But that's probably just me) They have a bunch of pinball machines and a couple arcade games. I usually just go here for the beer as it is near my work and a good place to grab a beer before the bike ride home.

It’s a nice place for grabbing some beer. We ordered a flight and it was great. Not sure about the parking as we used TRimet services. There are multiple arcade games for kids and adults to enjoy. It has a good vibe for a less crowded and fun place to drink and grab some delicious food from food trucks around!

Bruh what an amazing spot to get day drunk. There’s some old-school arcade cabinets in here including pinball, a massive cooler full of cans to go, a canning machine to get your own crowlers to go, and classic nerd vibes in everything from the bathroom signs to the beer names. Lots of space, natural light, and good vibes. Highly recommend.

Cool spot here. Lots of beers on tap to choose from. Big open seating area. Beer to take home with you and swag for sale. They have a few games to play as well. 2 food cards here as well. Mid city smash burger and a Mexican food truck. If you're a smash burger fan these are some of the best in Portland. Big outdoor patio for outside seating. Great spot to go to if you wanna try something new

Perfect location for a break from kids' soccer ;) or if you are an out-of-towner whose kids want to stand in the doughnut line across the street... The beer was good, the servers were very helpful with all the beers (thin 3X than what you've seen in cans from them). Will have to try the taco truck next time.

I've been coming here since they opened and they get better and better. I really appreciate that they have so me solid mainstay beers but also a robust list of constantly updating drafts. Their Czech Lager is my personal favorite at the moment. Inside you have a small selection of arcade games as well as the worst shuffleboard table ever made, try it and you will get it. Outside there are a couple of food truck options as well. John the bartender is an absolute joy to chat with.

Good beer. Plenty of indoor & outdoor seating. Dogs allowed! Video games?!? What more can you ask for from a brewery?? My husband and I were looking for a spot to take our pups out on a Friday night and stumbled into Level Beer. We've been to the other locations and have loved the vibes, so we're glad to have finally gone to this location. There are multiple food trucks on the outdoor patio to order from if you have the munchies. The beer selection is massive! The hazy we shared was super refreshing. We especially loved the pong arcade game and only wish we had more cash in hand to play more games.

Fun video game themed brewery. Tasty brews, food truck, and of course video games Large spacious outdoor patio, pup friendly. Different types of seating to chill at ~ loungers, picnic, bench. Beertender service is friendly and kind to share their styles available.

Exhaustive selection of flavorful ales and crisp lagers. Nice, laid-back videogamey Portlandy ambiance. Beertenders are kind of disaffected but...I guess that's still part of the Portland ambiance.

Such a bummer. I've worked in the neighborhood for over a decade and have been coming to Level since they opened. The service has only gotten worse and worse, but the beer is always good. Maybe the lady at the counter doesnt like beer but her attitude tells me to drink elsewhere. Guess ill grab a burrito from Nacho's and get a drink at Sandy Hut.

This place is RAD! With a video game theme, what's not to like about this place?!? Staff was super friendly and knowledgeable. Great SELECTION of beers, everyone can find something they'd enjoy. Video games to play. Small snacks to buy. And great swag. PARKING: Street parking, no meter. There was no issue finding a spot near the brewery.

John was the bartender I needed that Friday afternoon He's a great human and I hope he got his feline friend back xoxo Additionally, outstanding beer, one of my favorite Pilsners WILL return because of bartender alone.

I'm really a fan of his Level location. Always a great lineup of beers on tap, tons of seating (inside and out), and a great food truck (or 2) outside. Beers tend to lean in the IPA direction, but there's enough variety to hit just about any taste. Huge bonus points for the giant outdoor area. Sometimes hard to come by in the PDX area, but this patio is open and gets great sun. I'll be here often in the Summer months. Worth mentioning, you've got Voodoo and Sandy Hut nearby, so this is just a generally fun area to hit when you've got an evening to kill.

Beer was really, really good! Fun atmosphere, two food trucks outside (you can bring food if inside). Ambiance very mellow, music not blasting.

Welcome to the neighborhood! I have been a huge fan of Level Beer and so happy they opened a new location by Hollywood. I wanted to catch up on my weekly newspaper reading and I was happy to see plenty of socially distanced tables spread out when I entered. The tap list is generous and there is something for everyone. I chose the pumpkin latte ale which then I texted my friend what beer I was drinking. He told me he gave me a 4 pack of that beer for my birthday a couple weekends ago. No wonder it tasted delicious lol. There are some arcade games and pinball to enjoy. You can sit in the bar to drink if that catches your fancy. I wasn't really hungry but there is a food cart outride that customers seemed to enjoy, next time!!

Beer is decent, location is good, bartenders are rude. The staff is especially not friendly and will blatantly ignore you trying to order, while they're chatting with one regular. Had several different bartenders and never once a positive interaction.

This is a sweet little spot to hang out and have a tasty draft beer. When I was there on a Sunday afternoon, there was a fun energy with families with little kids enjoying the video games. I had the Fatality '22 stout, which was indeed "big, dark and roasty" as the description explained. I'll be back to explore more.

Level Beer....the sequel. Ok...4.75 stars. Taking a smidge off because of the fact that they have all this awesome outside seating, but only one table with a heater. Other than that, everything was on point. Huge tap selection, even bigger than the other Level!!! All the beers are brewed by them with no guest taps. The 2 beers I had were great. Extremely fast friendly service. Brought the dogs so we sat outside. Plenty of seats both inside and outside. Like I mentioned before, they need more heaters outside or they need to enclose the tents from the wind. The only reason we knew about the one table with the heater, is that the gal at Olympia Provisions told us. On to the food carts. Yummy selection of either Mexican food or great tasting sandwiches. Our bartender John helped us out when our propane tank ran out on our heater. I would definitely recommend this new Level. Cheers.

So many times, when a brewery tries to make a bunch of different styles of beer they fail (something along the lines of "jack of all trades, master of none"), but level doesn't fail. They make some solid beers. Nice location across from the Sandy Hut, with lots of options to bounce to afterward or before. Building is nice inside, with a bunch of arcade games and an area with Level swag. Nice servers with good service. Nacho's House in the parking lot with good food to go with the beer. Their brewery is able to pull off pilsners, IPAs, hazy IPAs, and Saisons fairly well. Generally a beer for everyone's tastes available. Worth a visit.

Sunday afternoon 4/21 the person working behind the bar was rude. I asked for a napkin and she gave me one. She made a face at my grandchild who was talking with me. My daughter lost a quarter in the video game and she said, "They are play at your own risk." Upon leaving to go outside there were two empty glasses on the table. No one else was in the bar and she looked at my son and son-in-law and said, "You need to bus those glasses yourself." I don't want to return to this establishment and the other 7 people with me do not.

Game on! Let's Play! Highly recommend a few cold ones at level. Good carts outside Mid City smashers snap. Plenty on TVs to log a game.

Level Beer is new in the neighborhood, and it is great to have a tap house right in the neighborhood close to several other dives and bars. They have a great patio area with food carts that you can bring inside, and are fairly priced. I love coming here first, and then bar hopping down the street to all of the other places that are within walking proximity. Great place to check out!

Great beer, great environment, great arcade and pinball, but what's the deal with the fruit flies? I went in January and there were fruit flies going for my beer and food the entire time inside. It wasn't a problem outside but annoying and disgusting inside. Hope that gets fixed soon.

Great bar to pop in for a pint, or spend the afternoon with friends. Ample indoor and outdoor space is perfect for any weather. TVs, video games, and shuffle board so there are plenty of activities. There is a taco truck posted up in their outdoor area so come hungry as well. Delightful staff is the icing on the cake.

Have wanted to go Level for awhile, but the original place so far away. Glad to realized Level 3, a good bit closer to home. Odd feel to the place, modern spare, but a nice set of colorful pinball machines and a great sign at the rest rooms. Still, a cold ambiance. 20 taps, only a couple vacant. The beer's okay, and Portland's a tough market. Friendly beertender.

Great beer selection and indoor vibe. Outdoor vibe is above average for Portland city spots (wish I could find a spot w less concrete tho...). Exception is the "battle of the bands" music situation outside. The Nacho's food truck is excellent food at reasonable food truck prices with friendly staff. BUT the blasting of their music as competion to the outdoor speaker of a more enjoyable brewery music selection is unfortunate and leads to 3 verus 4 stars. Again, great beer tho.
