"Level is advertised as a luxury furnished apartment complex, which it is. But we've discovered it's also one of downtown LA's best secrets for a hotel stay. First off, it's immaculate. The design is modern, and the amenities are pristine—there's giant gym and a gorgeous rooftop pool with an area for screening movies. And second, we might actually be more inclined to stay here than at a traditional hotel. Each room has a full working kitchen, a washer and dryer, and a view that looks like the entire southern half of California. And it's located in walking distance of LA Live and some of downtown's best restaurants and bars. "

I don't love downtown LA, but if I have to visit downtown LA again, this is where I will stay. a) THE POOL AND GYM WERE AWESOME!!!! Loved having a pool you can actually swim laps in, heated, clean, superb. Gym was also nice and big and clean. DEFINITELY MY FAVORITE PART OF THE STAY. b) Great apartments with huge fabulous kitchen, etc. Love having a balcony and windows that open. It was extremely clean when I was there. c) Service was awesome except when I checked in, but otherwise excellent. d) Some things are not fabulous like once or twice the shower did not get hot enough (but usually fine) and no you don't get daily cleaning, but I knew that before I booked it, and I am fine cleaning up after myself. For the price, and that gorgeous pool and gym, and the friendly staff, all the space, and that amazing kitchen, (bathrooms were nice as well) and that I got a WHOLE APARTMENT for about the same cost as a single room, this will be my go to place to stay if I need to visit downtown LA again. (I was there for work, and may need to return, so that is why I am likely to return to this hotel). Would I rather stay near the beach, sure! But again, for this part of town, I would give them an A+!

We recently stayed at Level Los Angeles. We travel to celebrate birthdays with friends and family. I should mentioned the city view from the room was amazing and the location was perfectly accessible for most activities we wanted to enjoy, but the costumer service was far off from being kind and helpful. Since we arrive and preceded with checking in the lobby person was very rude and he pretended not to understand that we have arrived in groups and that there was someone already in our room, he had my partner waiting for more than 30 minutes for a card to access the property, even though I had already called to authorize a card for him. I received zero help to get my luggage to my room .The room was not stocked. There was no shampoo or conditioner. I had to request paper toilet, shower towels, coffee and filters. We had no housekeeping service not even one day, they told us we are in charge of cleaning and throwing away our thrash. Seriously I paid a good amount of money for no service!! The last day I asked for a confirmation email to keep track of the cost of our staying and again the person pretended he didn’t know what I was asking for. I wouldn’t stay at that location again the experience left me very disappointed. I wouldn’t recommend spending your money for a place that doesn’t take customer service seriously

My stay at Level was an excellent experience. I stayed in a 2 bedroom suite that was immaculately clean with views of the pool. The service was excellent and professional, from the guys at Valet to the front desk and even the maintenance crew (my washing machine had some minor issues). My favorite part was the pool, which was very clean and serene. My only issue? The elevators were slow and busy on weekends (specifically, Saturday). I would definitely return to Level.

The whole process, from booking -> check-in -> stay -> checking-out, are very important to me. I work as a surgical resident, and needed a break. Level Los Angeles was the best choice I could have made for this well deserved break. Booking was extremely easy. On arrival to the hotel, I was greeted by both Mr. Jonny Romero and Mr. Franklin at the front desk. They were both very welcoming, which immediately made me feel comfortable! I knew right away that my stay would be great. Mr. Romero was kind, efficient, and prompt in answering any questions. I truly appreciate the whole process of my stay. My stay itself was beautiful! Would book again! and highly recommend. Thanks again, Johnny and Franklin, for making this a great experience for me!

What a gem of an apartment-style hotel option in DTLA. Needed one-night lodging for an appointment the next day and something close to a theater I was going to for a concert that night. Very convenient as the venue was 3 blocks away. Clean, modern and more of apartment than a hotel room, with sweeping views of the cityscape. Will definitely look to stay here again when downtown.

Starting with the bad news - I was randomly charged $2,400 about a month after my stay. When I called to get it figured out, the person I talked to could not have cared any less. They told me to email pictures of my online banking and an explanation of the situation, and I have yet to hear back from them a week later. My bank ended up taking care of things, but again, they had to urgency to correct this mistake. The rooms and hotel itself were decent. Nothing fancy for the price. The pool and hot tub were nice. The outdoor movie theater was cool, but you pay separately and the seats sell out quick. Overall it was a disappointing experience and I would look into other places to stay in the area.

Google
This hotel looked great online but was very disappointing in person. Checking in and out was easy, that was my only good experience here. My bf loved the gym, which was large and with a lot of high end equipment. The hallway on our floor reeked of trash, probably because of the garbage shoots near the elevators, there must be problems with the trash system. NO WARM OR HOT WATER!! Despite complaining once or twice a day for my entire 7-day stay, the hotel was unable to fix the water temperature, so I took a lot of cold showers. The room had stains on the window treatments, couch, and oddly enough the walls. None of the furniture felt "clean" to sit on. Also, the room was not stocked with toilet paper, trash bags, towels, or extra linens like blankets. I had to call the front desk for all of these and it took housekeeping several hours or up to a day to bring these items to the room. And all the bedding was down. When I asked for a down alternative because I am terribly allergic to down, the hotel claimed they did not stock anything but down. I had to put towels all over the bed to sleep and still got terrible rashes. Both the garbage disposal and the microwave did not work. The windows are thin, so we could hear all the street traffic--people shouting, cars/motorcycles driving by, cop cars, ambulances, etc.--it was hard to sleep through the noise. And did I tell you the smoke detector battery died? I called housekeeping about this, but it took them a day to come with a new battery, so my bf had to take it down and disconnect the old battery himself. And while this hotel looks likes it's in a good neighborhood, it's not. While standing outside with my bf, the security guard told us not to stand outside because of the aggressive homeless population in the neighborhood. We told him we are used to this (we live in South Florida), but the guard requested we wait for ride-shares and food delivery inside. If the hotel staff doesn't want its guests standing outside on the sidewalk, that is saying a lot. I told the front desk about these issues, which they had flagged in my reservation because I had called about all of them, they offered to refund me 3 night's tax fees. A nice offer, but not enough to make up for this bad hotel. Highly do not recommend.

This place was really beyond my expectations I expected a nice place but this exceeded my expectations for what I paid. My view was incredible looking over the whole downtown LA my room was very plush the kitchen bathroom was really nice, the Staff EMMI And FRANKLIN were very kind and professional, I did have a issue with one of the velvet night time employee he was rude and un accommodating as for the rest of the valet day time employees they were cool. This place has a nice pool jacuzzi basketball court and out door theater very nice.

Yelp
Stayed at a 2 bedroom suite and it was perfect! Great price for the convenient location, clean and well furnished suite, and great amenities.

Yelp
*ROACH INFESTATION* 01/24/2025 I walked into a ROACH infested room, Corner Suite King 1 Bed, Rm. 1204, shortly after checking in close to 10PM on January 24, 2025. I took videos & immediately grabbed my belongings to head to the front desk. I emailed guest services with videos of the live roaches crawling in the entrance walkway, kitchen, dining area, and restroom. I didn't even make it to the bedroom to see what was in there. It was disgusting! They gave me a new room, I was hesitant to stay because what?? However, I was tired, wanted to relax, and it was too late at night to book anywhere else. I stayed in the newly assigned room that was roach free, thank God. Still flinching around every corner because I was expecting to see a roach pop out at any minute, my anxiety was through through the roof & I did not enjoy my stay. The next day at check-out, I asked the front desk what could be done to rectify the issue. As a result, they comped my parking, not good enough in my opinion. The two elevators that work take forever, literally several minutes before arriving to your floor. Lastly, some of the general areas have a strong musty odor. Although I've always loved the suites here and how spacious they are for a quick stay, I'd rather have proper sanitation so I won't be back. Comped parking for ROACHES in a room is a joke though... never again! My previous recent stay: I also recently stayed here December 27-28, 2024 and had issues where we weren't able to use one of the bathrooms in a two-bedroom suite because of a flooded sink and offset toilet. We called maintenance and they did what they could, but nothing was fixed to working order. There was also a loose baseboard lying on the ground in the kitchen that left the bottom of the sink exposed. I made the mistake of giving them another try based on the fact that I have had great stays at this location prior to the most recent events. For context, I've stayed here on different occasions since 2021 with no issues until now. They've definitely downgraded over the years and clearly things have gotten worse within the last month... *All videos uploaded are from my stay on 01/24/2025* *All pictures attached are from my stay on 12/27/2024-12/28/2024*

Yelp
It's a shame, because this has been a go-to of ours for years. We love the views, the pool area has great views, and the basketball court is a nice perk. My young teenager always picks this place. Good: We booked the 3 bedroom suite. Views were amazing. Generally pretty clean. Bad: The elevators were hell on earth. Only 1 or 2 elevators were working at a time, but the penthouse seemed to occupy one of the elevators exclusively. It would literally take 20-30min to get down to lobby sometimes. We were so packed like sardines, most floors had to let the elevator go. Folks were taking the stairs if they were below the 10th floor. Also this has got to be the first time in longer than I can remember I had to take a cold shower - after 20 minutes it never heated up. And while I know this is LA, the clientele at this hotel has seemingly got a lot funkier since I have been there last. I was wondering if they are renting some rooms out through section 8.

Yelp
Solid 4 stars. My boyfriend and I really enjoyed the view of downtown from our balcony. It is spectacular. We recommend staying here if you're looking for a nice suite to do all of your own cooking and need to do laundry. We just stayed a night so we didn't use any of it . We had a lot of fun hitting up the bars near the hotel and ate at a sexy restaurant called the exchange next to the hotel . The night life didn't disappoint around the hotel . We enjoyed swimming in the infinity pool . It's just gorgeous. The view of downtown from the pool is pretty special. The reason not a perfect 5 star review is the hot water didn't work . Apparently they were having problems with it that week .

Yelp
This place has the slowest elevators ever. I've been waiting like 20 minutes I'm basically trapped in this shithole.

Yelp
Our family absolutely enjoyed our stay here at level. Our current home conditions were not the best due to the fires happening around it, so we decided to stay here and it was breath taking, we had the views of the pool. Everyone at the front desk especially Precious was so helpful and so friendly towards our family, and it made staying here so much more pleasant. The room was astonishing, we walked into a huge 2 bedroom 2 bathroom suite with a full kitchen and washer and dryer. The balcony was beautiful, and we felt safe here despite the earthquake we had on Thursday morning lol. The place was clean and peaceful. Thankful for this experience, highly recommend staying here if you're looking for a place to stay in the downtown area. It's near shops and food places also Whole Foods.

Yelp
I recently stayed at Level and had an incredibly unpleasant experience. I found a dead roach in the cabinets, which made my stay extremely uncomfortable and unsanitary. The microwave in the room didn't work. Additionally, the security staff were very hostile and made me feel unsafe rather than secure. I strongly advise against staying here. The management needs to address the pest problem and train their staff on how to treat guests properly. I will not be returning to this hotel and recommend others to look elsewhere for accommodation.

Yelp
To many kids allowed in the hot tub. No room to relax. No security or somebody around to enforce "turns" in the hot tub between children and adults.

Yelp
Arrived to meet an out-of-town friend and was pleasantly surprised by the spacious rooms, resembling more of an apartment with a full kitchen, living area, and dining space. The 6th-floor corner room boasted fantastic views, complemented by large balconies and upscale bathroom amenities from Making+Goers, unfortunately the attached body wash and shampoo were empty. The overall experience felt akin to residing in a modern downtown apartment. A recommended choice for those seeking a homey atmosphere while visiting LA.

Yelp
This place is the worst place I've ever stayed at!!! Unprofessional and staffs are lack of knowledge!!! The day we checked in, they told us that our room is cancelled though Agoda confirmed our stay and we paid the total, days prior. Didn't want us to get the Sky suite since we got it cheaper than their usual rate through Agoda because we booked in advance. Offered us a smaller room and higher price. Made me call Agoda and them, and wasted almost 2 hours calling back and forth, it was very stressful. When we finally got a unit to stay, the Shampoo, Conditioner and Body wash on both bathrooms were empty! The blanket was not clean, it has little hair all over the bed. couch and carpet was stained and dirty. Cheap bed, sheets, pillows and everything inside. Also, they ask you for $200 deposit and does not give you the whole deposit back. They will make you sign all this stuff before you check in and not knowing they will charge you $30/night extra for I do not know what. Did not explain that they will. They told us they will give our $200 back but we only got $138 back from the deposit. I called to ask about this, and JOHNNY in front desk, was very unprofessional and rude. Overpriced for a cheap place and cheap service!!! Do not stay in this place! Not worth every penny! This place is a scam.

Yelp
Booked the 3 bedroom for a bachelorette weekend. The day we arrived while checking in... THEY TOLD US OUR ROOM WAS DAMAGED AND THAT THEY DOWNGRADED US TO A 2 BEDROOM. One of the windows broke. Did they think to notify us in between the window breaking and our arrival which was several days....NO!!!! Additionally... this was their ONE 3 bedroom available that's not being rented and lived in. The first logical thing as a business would be to notify the guests and rectify the issue. Additionally... it is literally 6 weeks later and I am trying to chase down my "refund" which is just the difference in price from them down grading my room. This has been a headache. That hotel, the staff, is dysfunctional and unorganized. Find another suite or you'll unknowingly be out a couple hundred dollars.

Yelp
This place is horrible..we had two suites after they sold out our penthouse suite. We even had a signed contract with them ... we get there and they said.. sorry not available now. So we they put us in two smaller suites... one had only hot water, one had only cold water... not to mention they gave us a suite that was not cleaned... They are not a real hotel.. the hotel is discusting, I was trapped there for 9 days. I didn't want to touch anything in the suite... nastey

Yelp
This "hotel" is a scam. I would definitely recommend to stay at a real hotel. We booked and paid in full for a three bedroom suite, even requested the day before for early check-in, and the next day on arrival they tell us it's unavailable. They offered us a one bedroom paired with a two bedroom, but it was not our intent to split up our bachelorette party so inconveniently. On top of the confusion, they charged us for the full price instead of providing us any sort of reconciliation for the inconvenience. They told us to call Expedia, who we booked through, but it's not even Expedia's fault. The suite itself was okay. Like everyone else mentioned, don't let the photos fool you. Upon entering, the windows were open to air out this weird smell. The second room smelled like after smell of weed/cigarettes. The place wasn't cleaned very well and you can tell the furniture is pretty used. The beds weren't very comfortable and you can tell majority of things were pretty cheap, such as linen. Overall, wouldn't recommend staying here.
google avatar

Frankie A.

Yelp
Check in process took a while. Hotel sends you a link via text and you check in using the link. Our floor smelled like cigarettes and weed, and the beds were not comfortable but the room was nice. Had a 2 bedroom suite

Yelp
Update: TLDR - Damages went from 2k to 6k and my car will be in the shop for at least a month. They're still avoiding my calls and haven't taken responsibility for the damages. The car repair shop initially quoted me at $2,000 of repairs, but after doing a tear down and assessing all the damage it has tripled to $6,000. My car has been damaged since mid-April and will probably be in the shop until mid-July. If you value your money and more importantly your time, do not use the valet service here that is contracted out to Black Exclusive. If you look at their yelp page, you'll see that they have a handful of negative reviews as well.

Norman A.

Yelp
We booked through their website and got the 2bedroom sky suite. Room was on the 28th floor so had great views of the city almost panoramic. Room was clean and the pool and basketball court was open. We purposely booked our stay during a not so busy weekend to avoid crowds. Our experience was great. I was worried because i saw all the bad reviews on yelp. To avoid having a bad experience maybe use the hotels website to book your stay and go for one of the sky suites, its pricey but worth the peace of mind! They really to take care of you when you are staying in the sky suites.

Yelp
I want my money back if i could. I stayed here before , during my birthday last year in January. It was the best. So i thought about coming back here this past weekend to have a momma get away with my friends. This weekend was stressful in every way possible. While the front desk and valer were very friendly, everything else was terrible. Upon checking into the room, the hallways were dirty and messy as if it hasnt been cleaned in weeks. Crumbs and debreee everywhere. In front of our room it was dried up random white stains on the floor. Entering the room the floors were dirty and there were gnats on the cell and flyin aeound. The phone in the room had no connection and buttons were missing. I had a terrible migraine Saturday because i suffer from allergies and sinus problems, because the people below us was smoking weed and it filled our bedroom and living room. The same day, my paeking pass did not work and i had to walk up and down the parking lot to front desk 4x because the machine wasnt reading the cars. All the money that was paid for was not worth it. I want my money back and disputed. Smoking weed shouldnt have been allowed in the first place considering people have health issues and mines is now bothered sincey immune system is sensitive to different things. Whoever was below room 1707 on 9/28 should be reported to front desk.

Gym Y.

Yelp
Ac did not work. Front desk claimed to have "magic touch" . Flipped the power switch in the closet, worked for 10 minutes then same issues. Claimed they didn't flip any switches . Kind of dirty as well. Would not recommend

Yelp
Wish I would of saw the reviews on here before I had booked. Hello I had an issue with your hotel December 16 Thursday late night. As you can see with the attached photo of my booking, I had booked the room for 5 people. Well I was evicted from the room due to having more than 4 people in the room. I clearly stated I was going to have 5 people. I understand there was a noise complaint to which we apologized and turned down the music immediately. It was then that security wanted to come in and check the room which is when they saw 5 people in the room and that's when we were told we had to leave due to having more than 4 people in the room at one time. How was I allowed to book the room for 5 people in my booking if there was going to be an issue at the hotel? I was told I wouldn't get my money back which is not fair to me having booked for 5 people ahead of time. I would like a refund of the nights I did not stay thank you. And btw the card the lady give for Arron Gonzalez the Direct number was some kind of probation number. And please don't write me back saying the same thing sorry for your stay due to covid we limit this and that. I send multiple emails to Craig and still doesn't answer me back. Even the front desk says he in then he not in or he step out. This place is a scam who just choose to pick on people staying here.

Yelp
Amazing customer service nem at the front desk was great, kind and took care of all of our needs. My friends and I stayed 3 nights, perfect location for anyone looking to enjoy concert or show downtown. We had a music festival at the Colosseum and it was a short 8-10 min walk to the metro once we got there we only had to ride it 3-4 stops (15-20mins) hopped right off and avoided the Uber/lyft surge charges. Valet too care of our car for us and the Hotel was really nice beautiful rooms/kitchen/space/ washed and dryer hook up etc. view was amazing from the balcony and we will definitely be coming back in the future.

Yelp
OVER ALL the best hotel i've stayed in, the amount of detail they put into their rooms is amazing thank you Level for an amazing 21st birthday day celebration. very spectacular views

Yelp
Five stars to this hotel I went with my friend to this beautiful hotel, incredible view on the downtown LA, everything is amazing, people working there are so kind and helpful, friendly. I recommend this hotel, perfectly if you want a place to feel safe. They are so respectful, the lady's housekeeping are amazing, they did a great job with my things and my experience it was so great. Thank you.

Yelp
My wife and I really enjoyed our time here. We got lucky by finding it for a great price. First off the amenities are great. Staff was friendly and helpful. Parking is really expansive so heads up. There may be lots near by where it is much cheaper. We only stayed a night so we paid the $50. At least we knew it was safe. It's a hidden gem in LA and worth to stay. Check it out!

Leiloni D.

Yelp
First off let me start off by saying we paid damn near 2k to stay 2 days........ the security here are way to aggressive and they trying to hard to get beat up! They came harassing us for NO REASON, and they came in being very disrespectful, this is sad when there's a huge party upstairs goin on. Like your worried about the wrong things we wasn't even disturbing the peace at all just trying to celebrate our bday with a small group of us and they came and messed everything. If you want to have a nice luxury experience with your family and or friends DONT BOOK THIS PLACE, such a rip off and I will be callin cooperate tomorrow and I will be canceling the rest of me stay. The African security also said some hurtful things and instead of him apologizing he got aggressive so I got aggressive right back with his ass cuz who tf are you talking to.DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY MIGHT AS WELL GET A HOTEL OR SOMETHING NOT WORTH THE HASSLE AT ALL
google avatar

Jason A.

Yelp
This Hotel is terrible! Do not waste your money... You will get kicked out of your room within hours of checking in and they will keep your deposit! Spend your money with a real hotel! This establishment is low key a scam!! Stay away from LEVEL

Angie H.

Yelp
They keep the level secure ... yes it's pet friendly make sure you animals are vaccinated for fleas in DTLA PERIOD !

Yelp
I am speechless, disappointed, dissatisfied, violated and so angry that we picked this place to stay in LA. We were evicted out of our 1,200 sq. Ft room for having a few people over to hang out after an event, no music, no rowdiness and only 4 out of the 8 people in our room were occupants. Security banged on our door, 2 men with not even masks, but bandana like coverings for their mouths. Felt like we were about to get robbed. They asked me how many people were in my room and I told them we had a few people over but assured them they were not staying the night. They said no more than 4 "at any given time" can be in the room. We didn't know it meant visitors that came up to our room who were also staying at the hotel in different rooms would count as exceeding "guests" - meaning people apart from the 4 of us actually sleeping in the room couldn't be there to hang out. We paid almost 1k for this room, to be treated as if we were criminals doing something bad. They asked to do a search of the room and I didn't even think twice because we didn't want any trouble. I didn't know that it was okay for security to go inside your room and look who was in your room. Does anyone know if this is a common practice and if this is something they can do? Even police can't search or enter without a warrant right!? It felt so scummy, we all felt so confused and so violated. The security guards were also scary, one with a knife in his pocket. I didn't know what to say, I was in complete shock. We even said okay we will kick them out and tell them to go back to their rooms but they said you have 20 min to clear out room you are evicted. By this time this was midnight. We were unable to get accommodations elsewhere and were stuck fending for ourselves with luggage in hand. I will never forget this experience and will never recommend this place to anyone. Do not waste your money and judging from reviews looks like we weren't the only ones who have been treated so unfairly.

Edward N.

Yelp
IF you like to hear loud car exhaust, sirens, music with heavy bass and lots of homeless people, this is your place. We booked this place because of the pictures of the view and the location. We were given a room on the 7th floor that looks directly into a old building. The pictures from their airbnb listing makes you think you'll have this amazing view over looking the downtown LA sky line. You will hear loud car exhaust, heavy bass from cars and screaming homeless people all night long. Avoid this place if possible.
google avatar

Kevin N.

Yelp
If you read this, stick to airbnb or a REAL hotel. The savings and stuff are not worth the "experience". Honestly had a terrible experience here. Had no warnings, Had friends over before they left for their airbnb, The "contract" they have you sign is vague enough to allow them to make decisions based on their discretion which is one of the most exploitative things ever. If you get a phony noise complaint from a neighbor, that is it. Honestly, I do not give enough one reviews but this experience was bad enough to write one.
google avatar

Christina N.

Yelp
We were registered guests at the hotel but somehow they kept leaving my name out of the list of registered guests. Every night when I went back to the hotel, I'd get hustled by the security personnel who were rude and intrusive. They even followed me around outside the hotel while I was waiting for my boyfriend to come down to the lobby to resolve the discrepancy with the hotel front desk. This happened 3x. Never returning again.

YorD L.

Yelp
We didn't stay at the hotel but went to the rooftop cinema and Jonathan took good care of us at the valet parking that the hotel provides. We were in a long line but he handled the situation great, was always super friendly and efficient, while doing all by himself! thank you

Sammi S.

Yelp
I had a horrible stay at this hotel. I went for my birthday and got harassed by one of the security guards several times. he went as far as entering my hotel room even after I stated that I was not clothed and then kicked me out after I was upset about violation of privacy. I will never stay here again!!! 0/10

Yelp
Our room was clean and spacious. Two small bedrooms (one with a giant closet) as well as a living room/dining area/kitchenette and balcony. There was laundry in the space and two bathrooms with tubs. Surprisingly, we couldn't use both showers at the same time without having the temperature swing from freezing to scalding. Still, this apartment-style hotel was just what we needed and the kids were excited to be able to play basketball on the roof. We were less excited that the pool and spa (we had booked partly because of it) were closed for renovation. They do give the option of going next door to their pool. There is a parking garage under the hotel- the valet wasn't helpful because we parked ourselves (still expensive). There were people working on and detailing cars in the middle of the garage and that wasn't great because it made it very tough to get in and out. No room service or restaurant in the hotel.

Yelp
A man by the name of Michael is by far the rudest Unknowledgeable employee they have working in here. I understand due to COVID 19 we all have adjustments to make ; but when a person doesn't know the rules completely YOU can NOT in force them correctly. Upon checking in with me plus 3 roomies for a 2 bedroom suite we all got keys and a wristband. I was told GUEST would need them meaning the 4 of us registered would NOT. So we walked to whole food , to come back all having keys in hand to be told we needed wristbands. I DID NOT PAY 1750 to be hassled when returning or leaving for that matter. So I get to the front for them to further explain that only guest need the damn wristband. AND I AM NOT A GUEST. Back to Michael tho , in the middle of him explaining the new policies they are adopting that they all don't know how it works. THATS NOT MY PROBLEM AT ALL. He ups and walks away . Rude isn't even the word that I'd like to use but imma keep it cute . Now Aaron . I called down for a frying pan ( which comes standard in rooms ) and it took 2 hours for me to actually get it . I called downstairs more than 15 times , having to go downstairs over 4 times . I came to this place in November and had the time of my life . None of this bullshit happen and makes me for sure never willing to spend a dollar here from now on out. They have a sign at the pool that says 12 people max . But 12 people are in the jacuzzi currently , but when I wanna come OUTSIDE to watch my husband play basketball it's a problem I have a glass in my hand . But I was down here last night with a glass cup Of tea . If you're going to enforce rules please enforce All of them to all paying customers Do not pick and chose whom you like to speak with that is profiling period

Yelp
We booked the hotel through hotel.com and had no issues up until check in. We talked to the front desk multiple times the day of check in because we were gonna be late since we were at Disney and they assured us all would be fine and to just call before we walk in. They sent us a text with a link to check in with them before hand and asked us to send in an id for the reservation before we arrived at the hotel which we sent to them almost 12 hours before we got there, yet when we finally got to the hotel around 12:30am the overnight front desk lady told us we cannot check in because we weren't over 21 and no where on the booking site nor the hotels official website did it state that you had to be 21+ to check in. She kept repeating to us that it was policy and she was very short and rude with us when we were trying to figure out why all of a sudden there was a problem when as i mentioned we talked with them twice and did a pre check in with them and wasn't notified about this problem at all. We had to ask her why we didn't get any head up about this before hand and she claimed the id we submitted for check in was declined but admitted that they did not not send us any warning about that. She told us all she could do is email the third party and acquire about a refund with a cancellation fee. So we had to sleep outside in the parking lot that night because it was about 1am at this time and all other places were booked for the night and she did nothing to accommodate us in the slightest. However when we went back to the front desk in the morning to ask about the refund situation Nijah at the front desk was extremely helpful and sweet. She cared to ask us more about the situation and printed out information for us to get our refund and the managers number to sort it out with the hotel. She also asked where we ended up staying for the night and we told her that we had to sleep in our car and she offered us waters and let us take a shower on the fourth floor and even gave us a key card to enjoy the rooftop with the pool and other amenities. Overall this was a terrible experience and the communication between us and the hotel was very poor. I wish I could rate this experience zero stars seeing as we ended up sleeping outside instead of the actual hotel room.

Yelp
This was an absolute trash hotel in DTLA considering the nightly rates. We booked a suite at this location and I was extremely disappointed. The main living room space had zero overhead lighting. The suite came with basic amenities but none of the basic ones you'd get at a price comp actual hotel (ie coffee and tea for the mornings). The bed was fine but the linens were not even mid-quality. Sheets were rough. The room came with exactly two towels - again, the quality was absolute trash. The shower amenities (if you can call bulk shampoo, conditioner, and body wash stuck to the wall an amenity) we're all empty. The shower water never got hot much less warm. The shower head was adjustable for height but not angle so it just sprayed in a horizontal manner. The shower itself was in a very high walled bath tub (not handicapped friendly AT ALL - honestly, it was difficult to navigate as someone without mobility issues). No bathrobes were provided, no hangers for the closet. No daily cleaning services were offered or provided. This place was terrible. Do NOT waste your time/money unless you can get a dirt cheap last minute room and you want to be in DTLA.

Yelp
First night when I arrived I was tired so I went to lay in bed and there was dried blood on my bed sheets. I also have videos and photos of the next day our balcony was covered in cigarette and marijuana ash, as well as trash and even eaten chicken wings. everything felt dirty, definitely wasnt cleaned. lastly, on our last night there was a fight in the hallway leaving behind fake nails and hair everywhere, and on the same night a shooting happened downstairs, I also have video of the shooters getting in different cars and leaving the scene before police arrived. I'll never stay here again.

Yelp
Do NOT come here if you want a busted window from there parking structure in the front of the Hotel AND if you want to get kicked out !!!! Waste of money! they gave us 15 minutes for Us to get out ! AT 2am supposedly we had a noise complaint when we didn't even have neighbors & weren't loud at all !!! WORST EXPERIENCE EVER .

Yelp
Very poor service. Guys are total jerks. They do anything for men with jewelry or rappers or if you skin is simply NOT BLACK and treat normal individuals with no respect. Idk how a man could be so rude to a woman. But I got time today.. They don't help woman with kids. I asked for help with my 1 year old son in my arms. And my four year old child, my mom got me a trolly (thank god ) my mom pushed the trolly (thank god). I asked the Man in the suite if there was any help or if he could simply help me. He simply told me NO. My bags fell and a glass broke he simply asked me did I want someone to clean it up. I said of course because I am not. No hospitality. I am born and raised in la and have never been treated so poorly that made me think why am I being treated this way. They don't even dust there lights in their rooms. I own a Janitorial service and I would never leave my facilities undulated. High & low dusting is priority in the cleaning business. Dust actually holds a lot of different things and it's just unacceptable.

Yelp
Lived here for 2 weeks. The apartment is amazing!! There is full kitchen, living room, 2 TVs, washer and dryer!! It's super clean and very modern and bright!! Everything was so nice. The freezer had ice making machine!! The bed was super comfortable with comfortable pillows: a little firm and soft pillow. If you need more paper towels, detergent, shower stuff, towels, etc. you can always ask and they'll bring it to you. However, you can hear when someone is walking in the hallway. And they can hear you when you're talking in the room. The first 2 days, the fire alarm was on multiple times! It was super loud and extremely annoying! I found out it was only my floor that was alarming!! No wonder no one was running down the stairs at 4am in the work week!!! And more alarms at different times throughout the day too!!! There are multiple residents that do not wear masks when in the elevator or lobby area. Only one security really tell them to wear it. The front desk doesn't implement their own rule of having everyone wear it. The front desk people, esp Michael or "Mike" is very friendly and helpful. I really like that they have security at the front so no random people can come into the apartment. Also they have person in the garage too, which is good. The parking garage is gated!! Keeps your car safe in DTLA!

Yelp
Amazingly great! I'd give it six stars, if I could. Comfortable beds, plenty of towels, excellent kitchen supplies, dishes and silverware, etc. no complaints whatsoever. Friendly staff, quiet neighbors. If I could make one suggestion, it would be to put a grab bat in the tub/shower. Otherwise, I have nothing negative to say!

Yelp
DO NOT LET THE LAVISH PICTURES FOOL YOU!!! This is an internal scam, and I will have authorities look into this operation that is going on here. Firstly under no circumstances is it is acceptable to be treated in a way that we were in our stay. Because there were more than " 4" guests in a room, we were " evicted", is unheard of. That's not even the issue here, they come knocking in the door as if we were some criminals hiding in the room, demanding to " search" ,search what? Your sting will not go any longer in stealing peoples money . Good luck!

Yelp
Never did stay here. After making a reservation I got an unidentified text message warning me it was my "last chance" to complete my reservation. Checking my emails there was a request from them to upload pictures of both sides of my drivers license. Then they asked for a selfie. I've stayed in hotels all over the world and never experienced this. The place seems sketchy. I called to cancel my reservation because I was totally put off by the whole process. Took five minutes for anyone to pick up. So I've never stayed here and never will.

Yelp
I lived here for about 6 months or so when I was attending FIDM. This apartment was just weird. There was ALWAYS maintenance issues, no hot water for a week, ac not working for 3 days, elevators not working, clogged drains, bathtub spout not working, the key for our door didn't work for a good 4 months (just relied on roommates and pure luck), pool and hot tub were dirty at times Also the place just feels sterile?? Like it's really white and bright and feels very businesslike and not very homey. Didn't really like the place, there's much better hotels and apartments in LA & downtown

Yelp
This hotel is a scam. Read yelp reviews before booking! They searched our room because we had a few people hanging out for a bit after an event that we went to. They weren't staying at the hotel. Apparently that wasn't allowed and we apologized and said we would have them leave but they said we would be evicted and had 20 minutes to leave. We felt so taken advantage of. We were a group of girls and after reading previous reviews, it seems that is their target group to scam. Do not stay here.

Yelp
**I would have loved to have had a better experience because there is 5 star potential here... but it's just not how our trip went** We came for my son's 10th birthday. Level offers a large heated pool, full basketball court, and gym. I can't speak for the gym due to COVID but the pool, bball court, and room were exactly as advertised. Wifi was fast enough for us to run an Xbox and PS4 at the same time which is what the kids did when not swimming or hooping. HOWEVER- (I'll give the benefit of the doubt due to the word of an actual resident) but RIGHT NOW (apparently not before the pandemic) Level is the place where the hood crowd come to party. I was not prepared for the fights, drugs, illict offers, and general inconsiderate behavior of a vast majority of the other guests. We also had to deal with the massive inconvenience of going through a back alley type entrance after 7pm through a line on the side walk past security as if you're entering a night club. If you have no issues with any of that, or if the crowd at Level shifts, this could be an awesome place for families with older kids who just want to swim, hoop, and eat awesome LA food. Also- the mask requirement are NOT enforced whatsoever, neither is the social distancing or occupancy in the elevators. I will also say that though the building is under staffed, the staff there are very nice and very helpfull... even the gambit of armed security guards needed to keep the peace after dark. All in all we made the best of it, but I honestly felt things could have taken a turn for the worst at any given moment.

Yelp
Just checked into this hotel. Came into a dirty unit. -Hair on towels -Filthy Ice in freezer -Filthy sink with dirty sponges -Filthy walls We are here in my hometown for my birthday, and we are extremely disappointed. No one is social distancing. The front desk are not asking guests to wear masks. Hotels should always be sanitized, more so during these time. We tried calling concierge multiple times, but no answer. We will not be coming back, and we will recommend this place to any friends/family. Do not waste your time.

Yelp
On 08/07/20 me & my fiancé checked in and checked out immediately due to roaches in our room NOT 1 BUT 3 under the kitchen sink. We were told that we would not be charged and we were. I was charged on my card $1928.62 and has yet to be refunded. My account is still charged. This is unacceptable. I have contacted your location 213.873.8400 more than several times only to not have anyone pick up. I have contacted the Onni (supposedly Corporate) 213.629.2041 and left several messages only for them to not call me back but instead they forwarded my message over to the GM Craig Settino. Craig called me ONCE & left a voicemail saying he will be in contact with me the next day. It's almost a week and I still have not heard from him. Instead I have called his direct line 213.873.8409 and left more than several voicemails. I want my refund ASAP!!! This is no way acceptable as it's been over a week since the incident. I will continue to share this on several platforms until I am able to speak to a human and get my refund. Mind you this was a special night that My fiancé had just proposed to me only a couple of hours before our stay and was ruined. And I won't even get on how the lobby parking structure and elevators were jammed packed with people hanging out like it was a club with no mask. SOMEONE NEEDS TO RETURN MY CALLSSSSS ASAP

Yelp
The "VALET" "SECURITY" won't even let you park in the garage unless you have a Rolls Royce or Ferrari, even if you live there.. Security will proceed to have you park across the street where you come back to your window smashed out. And the security "saw nothing". Their parking "security" "valet" or whatever the f*** you want to call it are crooks. What are the chances I can't park in my friend who is a residents spot for 2 hours and I come back to a smashed out window right across from the garage. Call the front desk they don't care. As long as they get their money. Just like every other scam in Los Angeles. This place isn't safe and is ran by thieves.
