"Come for the views and stay for the cocktails. Level7, located atop North Raleigh’s AC Hotel, offers one of the best rooftop drinks scenes in the city. Cocktails are mostly plays on classics and include a grapefruit spritz (Dixie vodka, St. Germain, aperol, grapefruit soda), a smoked Manhattan (Redemption rye, Lustau vermouth, Angostura bitters, Bordeaux cherry), and a signature gin and tonic (Hendrick’s, Fever-Tree tonic, cucumber, and star anise). A menu of small plates complements the cocktail list." - Matt Lardie

Amazing experience! My fiancé did my surprise proposal here on Christmas Eve and it was absolutely magical. Management and staff went above and beyond to accommodate setting everything up and being able to do the proposal on their beautiful rooftop. Finishing with a glass of champagne at their gorgeous bar. I cannot recommend them enough. Date night, photo shoot, proposal whatever you need. This is the place to do it!

Google
Level7 Rooftop - Stunning Views, Misleading Vibes" My experience at Level7 Rooftop left me with mixed feelings. Situated atop a hotel, the stunning views initially promised an exciting night out to celebrate my birthday. However, the reality didn't quite live up to the expectations set by their website. The ambiance was more suited for an older crowd, resembling a 55+ club rather than the lively atmosphere I anticipated based on their online presence. The music felt bland, further emphasizing the mature vibe. As a bar, the food was average, leaning towards typical bar fare. The drinks, however, were well-made and enjoyable. Despite the mediocre offerings, the service was attentive, and our orders arrived promptly. The main redeeming factor was the breathtaking scenery. If you're looking for a place to appreciate the view while sipping on a well-crafted drink, Level7 Rooftop might be worth a visit. However, if you're seeking a lively atmosphere, this might not be the ideal destination. In conclusion, my experience at Level7 Rooftop was salvaged by the gorgeous views, but the overall ambiance and energy didn't align with my expectations or what their website portrayed. Their marketing team deserves credit for their presentation, but the reality left me somewhat disappointed.

We organized an event couple of days ago at Level 7. Everything was great. You need to let them know about number of ppl, food selection and they do everything for you. I was able to decorate the place with some balloons too. Highly recommended for events! (My point of contact was Diego. He managed everything very well)

Google
Brunch menu online and at the bar are totally different, the service is meh you have to order at the bar and take it to the table. The atmosphere itself is worth it, the cozy outdoor roof vibe. The food was delicious, mimosa flight was reasonable priced.

Diego is the best manager!! He takes amazing care of the space and treats guests with a smile!! My hubby and I love to come to chill and enjoy the view at night. This is a must!! Day menu with the girls, night ambiance with the boo! Make your way to Level7!!

Google
This place has a great rooftop bar with ample outdoor seating and stylish indoor lounge spaces also. Although some of the furniture is a tad uncomfortable and difficult to get up from, the ambiance is still nice. The drinks were good and the finger foods were a healthy serving for something so late at night.

Google
A cute roof top bar came for happy hour with the girls. Drinks were good, nice staff.

Google
Awesome location. Service was average. Our server barely checked on us and the bar and rooftop weren't full. Still worth checking out. Bartenders are great

Amneris M.

Yelp
Great spot for drinks and apps. The rooftop bar is first come first served. Staff was attentive and polite. Great view of the area from the roof top bar. We sat at the bar inside while something opened up on the outside deck.

Christina C.

Yelp
I came to this place as we were bar hopping downtown on vacation. As far as the location goes, it's conveniently located in the AC Marriott in the "midtown" (I think I have that right lol) part of Raleigh. When we arrived we were undecided on whether to hang out, as we felt underdressed. The host assured us that we were fine and invited us out to the patio where we had a fantastic view of the skyline and enjoyed some shots while we all caught up. The only downside I would have to say is that we waited a while before we were served. We ended up having to go up to the bar to get service while others were being tended to. They seemed to be low on staff, so I'm sure they were trying their best. I would love to come back when I can make reservations and try out some of the food they have!

Yelp
I went there for a holiday mixer and I had a wonderful time! This place is very clean and professional! Mostly professional group 30s and up! With the level of traffic there, it would be hard to maintain crowd control, but they do it very well! Very kind and attentive staff members, relaxed environment and plenty of options for seating. They have an outdoor patio with spacious seating and also heat lamps for the colder months. I do not drink alcohol, so I asked Jordan the bar tender to make me a fall apple cider kind of mocktail, OMGGGGGGGG it was sooo good! He made it in like 3 seconds and it tasted like a gourmet beverage! I just enjoyed my time! Thanks Jordan! Two thumbs up!

Yelp
I dropped in before my afternoon brunch and after when a group of guys my friend I met at Stir welcomed us back. Tonya was the bartender smiling at the door and greeting us as we entered (both times). It wasn't busy during our first visit before 1pm. When we came back over after - 3:30pm, there were so many people who, I believe, flowed over from brunch. The beautiful AKAs were celebrating founders day. I loved seeing the authentic unity, friendship, and welcome from such an amazing Sisterhood. Level 7 is a great space to connect with other professionals. I enjoyed myself. It was great to experience exceptional customer service. Tonya warned me because the menu was changing, everything wasn't available. She did a great job recreating what I needed for my preference. I wanted to Level 75 but settled for the usual French 75. It was perfect!

Yelp
A pretty spot with great rooftop views with fire pits. I was excited to check this place out, mainly for the views and ambiance but also because I saw they had Hell Yes Ma'am on tap. I was really disappointed to be told that the tap was kicked and thought that was a bit odd considering they didn't have many beers on tap. I ordered whatever the IPA was they had on draft and it was just ok. I'd return for the vibes for sure! It's probably better as a cocktail/wine spot.

Bobbie C.

Yelp
Okay, so I had to come and do an update after my most recent visit to level 7. The drinks are not as good anymore for the price, I'd much rather go to another cocktail bar in Raleigh, but that's not what's making me reduce my ratings, the service from the staff is extremely subpar now. I watched a staff member give a customer a towel to dry their own table and chairs, it had just rained, and they wanted to sit outside while five employees stood around the bar. This was absolutely mind blowing to me. The bartenders are not attentive and people kept having to get their attention, the one bartender that was on staff this evening was standing and staring out the window with his back to the bar. Level 7 is popular because of the view but honestly I'll go to another rooftop bar this summer if this is the type of service they are providing for 15 dollar cocktails and unimpressive tapas.

Stephen C.

Yelp
Cool rooftop bar. This spot was recommended by another spot we were at tonight in N Hills. Our Bartender Brianna was off the chain friendly and took great care of my brother and I. The roof top view of the area is fabulous. They have an outside area with fire pits. The vibe is super chill. Would make a great date night intimate bar experience.

Yumi L.

Yelp
I love this place!!! The appetizers are freshly made. Celebrated my 32 birthday day and the staff was more than amazing and well attentive. Not to mention the view of the city and the place is fresh and clean.

Cheryl C.

Yelp
Level 7 Rooftop Restaurant and Bar with great views of North Hills in Raleigh, NC. I love rooftop restaurants and bars! I love the views and just the feeling of being high above and seeing parts of a city you don't get to see when you are down below! The place is very nicely decorated and spacious. We had a few of their tapas.....mixed warm olives with small toast.....crispy potatoes with smoked paprika and garlic aioli (alioli).....Spanish tortilla omelette......Gambas (shrimp) with Chile, garlic and citrus! All was really good! We paired with a mocktail that the bartender created. Great night, great food, great views, and great company! Yelp
Cute rooftop bar with a great view! They have a full bar and many beer options as well as small plates. The drinks are good, but a bit overpriced for what you get. They are good, but nothing amazing. It's not wildly expensive, but definitely higher than the price should be for what you get. The location is great. It's on the rooftop of the AC Hotel in North Hills. There's plenty of places to eat nearby so this is great for a pre-drink or post-drink. I've only had the charcuterie board for small plates and it was good. Fresh and flavorful. I usually only come for a drink or 2. The staff is extremely friendly and they have a couple of tvs. There's places inside and outside. It may get a bit crowded with limited seating on a weekend or late night, but during the day is great. Definitely recommend checking it out!

Yelp
Shout out to Holly for the great customer service I received tonight. It was exceptional. I am big on customer service and she is beyond what I expect when being served. So hope she is available on March 1st when I plan to revisit. Holly keep smiling and being the person you are....

Judith S.

Yelp
Food never arrived , they forgot to cook it. Service was not available, too busy at the bar. Ambiance was nice, sat outside, nice view . Very disappointed with Level17.

Keke F.

Yelp
Level 7 is the perfect afterwork /date night location. The bartenders are nice and friendly. The rooftop view of north hills is beautiful. The area has so much to offer and its so easy to bounce from location to location, definitely gives a tiny NYC vibe. I ordered the espresso martini and it was perfect!

Autumn R.

Yelp
Ambiance was decent. Visited on a weekday and the place was not busy at all. The service was slow and not the best. The bartender didn't seem happy to be at work . My husband and I ordered drinks and left.

Joan L.

Yelp
The drink I got was okay. The place closes early, especially for a bar. No one really helped me get seated or asked me for drinks or food. View wasn't that good.

Kirk K.

Yelp
Worst place I have been to in a long time. Staff did not know what was going on, our table was dirty, used cigarettes, joints, and throw up next to our table, food was terrible and the atmosphere (the reason we chose this place) was awful. Don't waste your money or time coming here.

Skye A.

Yelp
Believe it or not, I came to Level7 because a local news station used it as their background and I was intrigued. I love outdoor 'roof top' bars! I can almost pretend that I'm back in Chicago...(except for the non-existent skyline). The drinks were average; I was expecting more from the prickly pear concoction as it should add a colorful magenta hue to what ever you add it to. I saw that the bar used Q Tonic and Fever Tree mixers so I was impressed with the quality of ingredients. They just didn't seem to deliver on taste, however. There were a couple of veggie tapas that I would've liked to try but maybe next time. There main appeal is the out side portion of the bar (the view) and the trendy North Hills location - that much doesn't disappoint. The interior was way too freaking cold. (P.S. It's not that hot outside.) The interior is cozy enough, good for canoodling or entertaining work buddies. A nice mix of peeps. Level7 is obviously a 'go to' spot for the afterwork crowd and locals alike. This area looks to be a mix of business and residential buildings which has been the norm in construction for decades. Level7 is worth a visit regardless and, bonus, there is free parking at a local garage.

Yelp
Cocktails on the rooftop is always a major plus for me. Depending on the weather/day/ and time it can get pretty crowded fast.

Janine C.

Yelp
The rooftop bar is very nice atmosphere. However seating is very limited. Nice vibe. Only small plates. I had the shrimp tacos, they were good. Also the meatballs they were ok just needed more cheese. I tried 3 different drinks I'm not a fan of the cocktail list. The lemon drink which is basically a lemon drop. Was too sweet and bitter. I saw it was premade so they could be the reason. The level 7 however the bartender add tequila for me instead was ok. This was not pre made so it could made the difference. The employees seemed overworked. But with Covid this is the regular for restaurants everywhere. I asked Jessica what was the drink she was making and she was a bit rude. I had to asked her was she having a good day. I only asked because I've spent almost $100 and was try to find a good drink and it looked interesting. I just blamed her rolled eyes on being overwhelmed and busy. There was a pretty barmaid with dark hair she was attentive and sweet. I will definitely be back when in town. I saw some other items on menu I want to try.

Kat G.

Yelp
Attended an event at Level7- nice rooftop bar with patio seating. Conveniently located in North Hills area, surrounded by a few restaurants, Kings Bowling and free parking. They offered to rope off half of their outside patio and provided a bar tender. Views are obstructed but nice place to enjoy good drinks and company.

Belinda B.

Yelp
I absolutely love the view from Level 7. The vibe feels a bit more upscale than a lot of other bars in Raleigh, and the food is absolutely delicious! Where it loses a star is the service. It can be quite slow even when the bar is not busy. If you are in the outside portion of the bar, I would recommend just going to the bar to order your drinks rather than waiting for a server to come to you.

Lamont T.

Yelp
Wonderful view, great experience and well worth the parking hassles. Would recommend for a hot date night

Al W.

Yelp
Nice place to grab a drink esp if you have friends in from out of town. Nice view, decent food and pretty good drinks.

Sam T.

Yelp
Came here for the first time wondering if I'd like the place. Asked for a beer at the outside rooftop bar and the bartenders offered me a water and subsequently said that they "needed to cut me off". I had just arrived at the place, had already shown my ID to two bouncers, and I was sober because I needed to drive home. I told the bartender that I wasn't sure if he was being sarcastic or not. He confirmed that he was not being sarcastic. Never been treated this way at any bar or restaurant ever. There's plenty of rooftop bars in Raleigh and this is not one that I will be returning to.

Milana K.

Yelp
Quality of drinks at the bar was not the best but not bad at all. Service was great tho. I enjoyed atmosphere and view.

Jared P.

Yelp
What a GREAT evening! Enjoyed a delicious charcuterie plate and fun drinks, and was well taken care of! Staff and management are true professionals. Atmosphere and vibe is lively without being overly noisy. The view is spectacular as well!

Yelp
Walked in for lunch at 1pm on a Friday - first impression; nice hotel - elevator ride up opened up to the 7th floor bar. Bar chairs were completely destroyed and need to be replaced. Bar top dirty from the previous night - sticky and gross. Bartender was super unfriendly. Went to order an espresso martini after passing a nice espresso machine - no Kailua and they don't use fresh espresso it's out of a can - nope - ordered a gin drink which was made with a premix. Gross. Food- ordered a margherita flatbread and was told they just sold the last one to the only other people in the bar (remember they just opened for the day) so knew this was frozen anyhow and decided not to order food. The couples food came .. RED BARON frozen pizza. Cheese pizza. FROZEN .. claims margherita with buffalo mozzarella.. NO it's most certainly not any of those. Next. Never again. Yuck!

Lisa H.

Yelp
Went here for a first date on a Friday night and was pleasantly surprised! The view from the rooftop bar is great during sunset and the people watching is 10/10. There's an eclectic variety of people and a span of different ages. The cocktails were pretty good, and there's a good-sized lounge and bar inside as well. There was some food, but the energy is pretty high and fun way to either dress up or be casual on a weekend night.

Jasmine W.

Yelp
Vibe was really nice. Rise was great and the roof top was nice. Will definitely be back. Waitress was very nice as well. Yo avoid the crowd go right when the open. It gets crowded at 7.

Heather W.

Yelp
I wanted to love this place but sadly it was underwhelming. The bulk of these stars are for the view - which admittedly can't be beat. The marketing I had seen for this bar showed a variety of unique, craft cocktails so I was disappointed to see such a run of the mill menu of cocktails when we arrived. My Manhattan was fine but our bartender didn't know the bourbon options we requested. She also looked perplexed when another customer asked whether they had blue cheese stuffed olives for her dirty martini. While I was so excited to try this spot, it is certainly more hotel bar than rooftop lounge.

Martha M.

Yelp
SAVE YOUR MONEY AND VISIT 10th AND TERRACE! Way better views, food, drinks, COVID-19 protocols AND customer service. Honestly just terrible customer service. There's a waitress in there with long, brown curly hair and an attitude. Came in with a group of 4 other girls to celebrate my friend's birthday. When seated we asked for pricing and availability of spirits (as the menu only lists cocktails + food) the server immediately had an attitude which came off to all of us as being irritated that she had to walk back to the bar and check the price. When the time came to order another round she was nowhere in site. We ended up having to flag down another girl, who was more then accommodating and helpful. In general, I've given level 7 a few chances now. Mostly because I want to like it, it's convenient right next to STIR and kings but the ambiance and service is horrible, drinks are only ok for the price. Food is nothing exciting. There is no social distancing involved, and for a rooftop bar there really is not a view.

Liz M.

Yelp
Super cute rooftop bar in North Hills. Very Instagram-able, with good appetizers and cocktails. Very lively crowd on a Tuesday night, both inside and on the patio.

Holly K.

Yelp
I have been anxiously awaiting the opening of Level7 Rooftop Bar! It is right down the street from my house and somewhere I'd hope I'd be visiting frequently. I will say for their opening they were slammed, like I don't even think they thought they were going to be that busy. It took around 20 minutes to get a drink at the bar and when we ordered from a waitress it took 40 minutes to get a drink. She did apologize saying she spilt the drinks and had to wait for them to be made again. Now given that this was this first day open some of that is to be expected. The interior is much bigger than I thought it was going to be. Plenty of space if you want to grab a drink inside at their modern bar inside as opposed to grabbing one of the couches outside. They have a huge screen on the side of the building that I'm guess they will be playing movies or maybe even like music videos on. They had live music for opening night. The salsa band was great, just supppper loud. My husband works in Captrust facing Level7 and was not happy to hear the music blasting at 4pm distracting them from work. Hopefully they keep that in mind for the future. Although I didn't try any, the tapas menu looks stellar. I'm hoping to head back in over the weekend to try a few items off of the menu. The wine selection is mostly Spanish with a Californian option thrown in. Pretty decent beer menu and an extensive cocktail menu. I would say prices are reasonable if you didn't want a fancy cocktail. They have valet parking that you can use if you are just visiting Level7 and not staying at the hotel. Also plenty of parking in the Captrust and Bank of America deck.

Valerie V.

Yelp
Love the vibe here. Very trendy. Clean, crisp interior and a large outdoor rooftop area as well. Great for larger groups (get there earlier). Craft cocktails are legit. Didn't get a chance to try to food, maybe next time. I was glad a dressed up a bit from just regular casual meeting friends clothes. I had a grapefruit aperol spritz and it was very refreshing! Drink prices are what you would expect them to be. $10-$15.

Saloni T.

Yelp
I really enjoy this rooftop bar. The ambience is great. I think they also have live music on Saturday evenings. I am a huge cocktail fan, I just feel my options are limited :) my favorite is the midtown margarita. They make it super strong haha

Eden R.

Yelp
Yes, yes, yes! The vibes here are immaculate. Lovely rooftop view with casual outdoor seating, both casual and formal indoor seating, large TVs playing football games, music... practically everything you could want in a sophisticated bar setting. You can order at the bar or through a server at your table. I ordered the Level 7 Smash and I could've had 6 or 7 easily, it were so delicious. We also ordered a charcuterie board, which is reasonably priced and custom to your specific preferences. We went on a very crowded and busy Saturday night, so our charcuterie board took longer than expected. It took over 30 minutes, but our waitress didn't charge us for it. And it was worth the wait.

Kiara N.

Yelp
Presentation. Service. Experience. I love everything Level 7 has to offer. The views are enough to get me up there but with the added drinks and food choices, it is easily my North Hills go to spot. We love the relaxed European atmosphere. The music is always on point and the service is outstanding. You can tell everyone who works at Level 7 enjoys what they do. Anthony Zinani and Chef Devin Bayles always assure that my guests and I are well taken care of. I send my family from out of town to stay at the AC Hotel so they can enjoy everything it has to offer. Breakfast and an awesome evening at the lounge. It's been over a year and we are still excited over Level 7!

TheBlanique ..

Yelp
The vibe in here is cute. My espresso martini was good and I was really pleased with the crispy potatoes. Would def come back here.

Isabella L.

Yelp
Cute bar, not quite what I had expected. When I saw it was a rooftop bar (online), I thought it would have more of a scenic view and elevated feel. It is smaller than the surrounding buildings so you can't really see past those and it feels a little closed in (though I know this is not something they can control). The place itself had a great feel and seemed popular! Our server was very friendly, and our drinks were great. The Espresso Martini was very satisfying. Finger food was also good too. Absolutely cannot go wrong with the cheese

Mark S.

Yelp
Came here with a date last night after dinner to have some drinks and watch the sunset. From the street, you can take a side door that leads you to a small room with an elevator that takes you directly up to the bar. Or, you can always enter through the main entrance and take any elevator up to level 7. Since it was Saturday night around 7, the outside seating area was packed. So we sat inside by the windows while I occasionally scanned for open spots. She ordered a Prosecco while I got a Skeleton which is a cocktail with Rum and Scotch, very potent! Eventually, some people left and we got some good seats outside. Service was good even though they were really busy. Pro tip: If one of the waitresses covering outside area took your card for the tab, you can't go to the normal bar area to close it. You'll gonna have to find that waitress and ask her to close it.

Camille M.

Yelp
Level 7 is a great atmosphere for a long day after work or to mix and mingle with friends. Level 7 has a lounge type of seating and atmosphere where there is a mixed of coffee tables, sofas, chairs, end tables, and high bar seating! Usually, it is fairly quiet during th day hours and becomes a lot more busy during the evening! It stays open until 11pm or so during the week and midnight on Friday and Saturday. What I really love about this venue is the rooftop and outdoor scenery! It is one of the few rooftops in the Raleigh area and it is great for happy hours! The menu has small bites and great cocktails ! If you're into business, it is a great business location to meet up during the day and pull out your laptop ! They have a lot of outlets throughout the lounge for you to plug in your electronics ! Also on Fridays, they will sometimes have the live band and music! It is usually posted on the Level 7 website ! It's a great location situation right in the middle of North Hills happenings and the parking is relatively easy with almost 4 decks and lots. There's also street parking ! I highly recommend !

Kelly C.

Yelp
According to you guys, I am currently "the Duchess of Level7RoofBar!" All in all, I check-in here a lot by habit on Yelp because this is probs my favorite hang out spot in Raleigh. They have large TV's to watch the games on. Comfortable couches and I always run into an old friend or two unexpectedly and make a few more.

Chris C.

Yelp
Level7 is what you would expect from a rooftop bar. It's also what you would expect from a bar in North Hills. It's nice, but not swanky. It's expensive, but doesn't make you sick when you see your bill. The drinks are very good, but not 'knock your socks off' good. The only thing I don't like about this place is the clientele. Even with all the seating Level7 has to offer, both inside and out, everyone routinely crowds the bar and makes it difficult to get your first drink, let alone a second or third. Temper your expectations and you won't be disappointed.

Meg F.

Yelp
Have been coming here for a year now and it is our favorite place to bring anyone that's visiting as well as whenever we have free time. A glass of frose with some yummy snacks on the patio will make you feel like you're on top of the world, literally. The staff is always so friendly and helpful and we thoroughly enjoy coming.

Kelli M.

Yelp
We went for the first time on Saturday evening at 6:00. It wasn't very crowded yet, but the service was terrible. We waited for someone ANYONE to come and take our order to no avail. I ended up going inside to the bar, thinking maybe that was protocol. I was told that they were short-staffed. I get it, and ordered our drinks there. I was told that someone would come out to the rooftop and take our tapas order, but that never happened. We ended up closing our tap and left disappointed.

Kiara I.

Yelp
I visited level 7 rooftop with some friends. We had an amazing time. The rooftop had beautiful views of Raleigh. I ordered the frosé which was a hit amongst our party. We also valet our parking which made parking so much easier. I will definitely be back to enjoy more of what they have to offer.

Tresa W.

Yelp
Came here with hubby for a cocktail after lunch and the place was dead on a Sunday. My drink was $13 and 85% soda. The place feels like u are inside an airplane. The ceiling is weird but the furniture is cool. The bartender has walked off and is playing with her phone. This is a bust, we won't return. See pics.

Kelsey B.

Yelp
I really enjoyed Level 7. I wasn't really sure what to expect exactly since this is technically a hotel bar. Level 7 is on the 7th floor (duh) that overlooks North Hills and often times a gorgeous sunset. There are tons of couches and seating areas both inside and outside. It would be a great venue if you're looking to host a private party. There are bars both inside and outside, though the inside one has more liquor options it seems. There's also a small bites menu if you're feeling noshy. The portions are a little skimpy but the food still tastes good. I would recommend coming on the weekends or during the week after beach music across the street. It's a great location for a date. I came with large group of friends and that was also a lot of fun.

Sarah S.

Yelp
Pretty nice bar on the rooftop of the hotel in North Hills, it overlooks the bruegers bagels, cowfish, world of beer side of the plaza. The best time to go would be at the golden hour (sunset). The drinks were moderately priced, not cheap or too expensive. They have a live band playing on the weekends and the place fills up fast outside on the patio before sunset so if you want to grab a seat get there early. They serve light horderves but not an actual sit down meal. The bartenders were friendly and attentive.

Tiffany L.

Yelp
Just park at the boa building across the street . P4 and above and it's free. So save your dollars from valet! This place is very nice with pretty views! We ordered drinks and watched the sunset while we waiting for dinner across the street! Drinks were average prices of $10-$12. Average for los Angeles prices but probably expensive for this state. We ended up coming back at night and it was packed with people! We were lucky to snag a corner spot and the air was nice and fresh. this place closed down around 1:30 PM since its a hotel bar. Great atmosphere and fun vibes!
